Joe and the team went above and beyond to ensure that the project turned out exactly as I envisioned it. Anytime something unexpected was encountered they rolled with it and didn't complain or ask for more money. They worked hard on my project nearly every weekday from start to finish. The best compliment I can give is that I would absolutely hire them again without thinking twice, and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone else needing concrete or masonry work.

We hired Pioneer Concrete to demolish a badly stamped patio job and replace it with a stamped and colored patio around a swim spa. Joe helped us lay out a different stamp pattern that would work best for our project. Joe knew we were nervous about getting the best results this second attempt, and his attention to the details and our concerns allayed our fears and worries. Joe and his crew were on the job promptly (early!) every day, and got things quickly demolished and set up for the new pour. Joe and his crew were great to work with, even after we had them undo a full day of setup work to change the design layout. Joe immediately saw how the changes would enhance to result, and he and his crew went about making the changes and stayed positive. Sure, Joe charged us for the extra time but the results were worth it, and exceeded our expectations. As Joe told us in the beginning, he always brings his A team to a project, and they do a great job.

Joe and the team at Pioneer exceeded our expectations in every way. Our project included filling an old swimming pool, and adding a large cement slab for a sports court. Joe really set a vision with his team that was very beautiful and done in a precise, and quick time frame. Everyone on his staff was nice to have around our house and we are very happy with the outcome.

We hired Pioneer Masonry & Concrete to do site prep and pour a large concrete pad for a 6 stall outbuilding. From start to finish, Joe and his crew did an incredible job. Fast, clean and professional! This was the 3rd project Joe did for us and his quality is first class! I have and will continue to highly recommend Pioneer for all concrete and masonry needs!

Had to call the owner and let him know his workers just left the rebar on the ground instead of elevating it. Owner said they would be back to acid wash the driveway, never showed up. While pressure washing the driveway to expoce aggrigate owner caused score marks in concrete near sidewalk. The day after they finished I had to hose off and scrub the sidewalk and some street down the road from my home. Also one low spot in the middle of the new driveway.

Joe Rothwell (the boss) was very responsive, energetic, informative and proactive. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Cleanup was done well and the end product was high quality. His wasn’t the cheapest bid, but I’d rather pay a little more for better service and product.

Believe me, this is your last stop for any masonry and concrete needs as these guys are absolutely the best! My initial quote and introduction to the company was provided by Joe Rothwell ( Owner ). Joe took the time to discuss the condition of my driveway, which believe me was in dire need of replacement, providing me with an estimate that I felt was extremely reasonable. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and options such as a sand finish and converting my existing 1ft x 1ft drain to a channel drain, running almost the length of my garage. On the day of installation, I was greeted by Joe and several members of his team. He anticipated only one day to demolish, however, based on the size of my driveway ( approx 2300 sq ft ) I thought that there was no way this was possible. Low and behold by 2:00 pm the entire drive was completely bare of old concrete! Day two went just as smooth, with grading, adding a gravel base, channel drain, and rebar. Because of a mini heat-wave, it was decided best to delay the concrete pour until the following week when the weather had cooled. Once again, they arrived right on time with the first pour. It was truly amazing to watch these guys focus their attention to detail. Finally, the last day was the wash and clean-up. Joe and his crew did a wonderful job and my driveway looks spectacular! Joe and the whole Pioneer crew were efficient, courteous, thorough, and very professional. They put in a new driveway and walkway in front of our home, much improving the home's curb appeal and value. The work was prompt and of high quality. When we had a problem with drainage afterward, they showed up the very next morning and took care of the issue. I highly recommend Pioneer.
