Sales team was fast and responsive. Installation and electricians were great, fast and friendly. Overall great experience.

They did a whole house heat pump. I think it's called ductless heat pump installation.

The installers arrived when scheduled. They were knowledgeable and kept us informed about their progress, and gave a thorough explanation of the system itself. All the external pipes for the a\c are neatly covered. We are very pleased with the workmanship

I think the price was fair. Everybody there is great. I have used them before and they are very good.

Came on time, did the job, was professional

It didn't cost anything because it was still under warranty. The secretary I would give a C. The price was good because I didn't pay nothing. The guy that came out to fix it was good because he told me if you ever have any problems you are under warranty for 5 more years and you tell her that you are under warranty and we are 24/7. And she was trying to book us out for 2 weeks. So he was good and he came out fast when I called. The secretary wasn't very great with my husband. I called back and said this is unacceptable. If this keeps up come take it out. The guy said hold on Mrs. Wilbanks we'll get you somebody you can talk to. He solved my problem. Responsiveness could be a little better. If you can get past the secretary it would be an A. The work guys are an A. He was very nice and explained everything that was going on. He goes "I fixed it and he admitted that I don't know why it wasn't done." It now won't move nowhere. They installed it so they should know how to handle their stuff that they're selling.

The service person was punctual and did a good job.

The salemen was responsive to answering question before after the furance was installed. He assisted in getting a minor problem serviced and another problem evaluated. I would highly recommend greenwood heating and have no reservations hiring them again.

They answered every question I had. They completed the job in less than an hour. One person came out and he was really good. He knew what he was doing. He left the area really clean.

I did not end up using them actually, it was not a good experience. The estimate was like $20,000 higher than what the nearest other estimate was. I know that we got someone to fix it for around $1,700 rather than the over $20,000. So, they suggested replacing the boiler and somebody was able to fix it and not replace it. Since then, we?ve had it serviced and the people that serviced it told us it has another 15 to 20 years of life left on it. They did show up, they were on time. They didn?t do anything.

We received two FREE estimates from Brennan and from Lowe's previously to replace our hot water heater. Greenwood had come recommended from a friend so we called for an estimate. First off, the estimate provided was 50% above what I had previously received from the two mentioned providers. The other two coming in for a tank water heater between $2000-$3000, Greenwood quoted me $4500. After I said we are waiting for another estimate, he grabbed an invoice and tried to charge me $89 for the trip charge to give the estimate. I refused to pay that on the spot and the man who came out called his office and the gal on the phone claimed that I said it was approved to charge me to come out and provide an estimate, I would have in no way approved a company to charge me $89 for them to come out and provide me an estimate. So if you want to pay for the right to have Greenwood charge you $89+tax for a simple estimate. By all means, use them. I will not be.

They are on Angie's List. The price was about par for other people's prices.

Technician providing estimate ($89 plus tax) gave terse responses to my questions with an arrogant/condescending tone and stance. He demonstrated a lack of concern for protecting the residence should the work be done, a lack of customer service skills to earn the job, and an inability to discuss in detail why a specific product could/could not be used. (Footnote: The Duravent product I wished to use was confirmed doable by the Duravent rep AND in the Amerivent installation brochure, page 8.) Since this tech represents this company, I would recommend this company only for customers who just want the job done. However, if you "know" your home and its systems and wish to clearly understand what products will be used, what exactly will be done, perhaps even expressing a desire to use a specific product, then this company is NOT the company for you. Save your estimate money for someone else.

Perfect. They arrived on time, were polite and did their job as expected. The sales professional (Jim) was honest and forthright and did not try to sell me any additional products! I know people who have used Greenwood before, sometimes for more than one service, and they wouldn't use anyone else! I feel the same! I have already referred them to my neighbor and my brother, who just had a new furnace installed two days ago and was happy with technicians (as I was also) and the company also...Highly recommend them!!

I have used Greenwood Heating for years. They have always been very dependable & very sensible price wise.

We live in an old brick tudor and our top floor bakes in the sun during the summer, and gets chilly on the few cold days we get each year. We were looking for a heat pump solution to cool and heat our upstairs bedrooms on those hottest and coolest days. After several estimates with local HVAC companies, we chose Greenwood due to the thorough walk through the salesman Todd did. He spent over an hour with us and was creative in finding a solution for us and the unique needs of our old house, and he knew the Mitsubishi system inside and out (much more than other companies). On top of that, the price was lower than all of the other local companies we talked to. The install went very well. The manager, JD, conducted a full walk-through 5 days before the install date, where he identified a few challenges with our old house. We worked together to find a solution and resolved it before the install – JD and Todd were both very responsive and helpful in devising this solution. The install itself was smooth. Professional and courteous team, quick, and they did a great job cleaning up completely. All in all a professional and seamless experience – end to end. And of course, the units work great in creating a climate controlled experience - our upstairs can easily get as cool as we like, and the unit is QUIET (both indoors and outdoors). Thank you Greenwood!

We were very impressed with the outstanding job performed by all of Greenwood’s employees throughout the entire process, making this expensive undertaking a positive experience. They answered our many questions with respect, they were punctual, efficient, and courteous. We appreciated that an engineer evaluated and designed the system before the install, something that was not offered by other companies. Our installers, Evgenii and Maksim, worked diligently to install our furnace and A/C lines in an extremely small crawl space and furnace closet. We will recommend Greenwood Heating and A/C to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

Estimator (Rod) was capable and thorough, more so than two other companies providing bids. Answered all questions, mentioned several factors no others did. Bid was at the high end, but Greenwood reduced their price somewhat to be more competitive with other estimates. Project manager (Richard) came to evaluate installation area before project start, was also thorough and a clear communicator. I had inadvertently missed initial appointment time, but he was gracious about it and rescheduled quickly. Installers (Tony and colleague) were professional and hard-working. Sought my input/decision on routing of tubing and wiring, explained trade-offs well. Electrical and mechanical work looked clean and safe and passed inspection with flying colors. Looking forward to better sleep this summer (and future summers under climate change).

TI had done a 12K unit from adifferent company 7 mos. ago.That same company was considerably more,for the same system. Greenwood has a 12/12/12 warentee. If you shoparound you ll find Greenwood has the best warentee and service.Took three days,but was worth the time for two men to do the job without being rushed. I will use them for yearly insp.& highly recomend Greenwood

We had an 80 gallon electric water heater from 1991 that we wanted to replace, so we solicited bids to replace it with a tank-less gas system. Durant was able to come out right away and walked us through all our options, explaining the different tank-less options they use as well as where they'd be running the new gas lines. The tank-less system required two vent holes to be bored through the concrete foundation, and Durant helped us understand where those would need to be routed on the outside of the house. He also explained why they'd be running a new gas line directly off of the meter (instead of branching off of an existing line inside the house), which was very helpful. The crew that came out did a great job keeping the basement where they were working clean, and did their best to route the new gas lines into the ceiling like we'd asked. They also did a good job keeping us up-to-date on their progress throughout the project. Our one complaint is that we did end up without hot water for about 24 hours because of a minor scheduling problem with the electrician they hired to convert a 220 volt circuit to 110 for the new heater. The electrician showed up early on the first day (instead of the second day), which meant that the existing hot water heater was powered down early. It wasn't a huge deal considering the 80 gallons in the tank stayed more-or-less usable for a while, but it was inconvenient. Still, they were very apologetic about the mixup, and worked really hard to make sure everything was up and running by the second day. Overall, we are very happy with the new tank-less system, and the service they provided!

We decided it was time to install a heat pump, to provide cooling during the summer. We already knew our furnace was on its last leg. We called Greenwood after reading reviews on Angie's List. Within a few days, Chris Young came to our house for an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He really worked with us, figuring out the best location for the heat pump and answered all our very many questions. The install took two days and everything went very smoothly. The guys doing the work really worked hard and knew their stuff and did a good job. Cleaned up really well afterwards, too. There was a bit of damage done. A piece of acoustical ceiling tile was broken--they'd warned us of that possibility in advance because of the wiring they had to run, but assured us they'd repair any damage. There was also a hole punched through a wall in one spot. We never did find out why or how that happened. But, they definitely did repair both, good as new. I gave them a "B" for responsiveness, because we had to request the repair work several times before it was done. Though we were originally sending emails and once I called on the phone, we got very quick responses, so the emails may not have been getting to the correct person. Overall, we're completely happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend them.

Knowing my old electric furnace was completely i sought and received three bids for converting my heating system to gas. Greenwood was actually the highest but I have a previous history with them (heat pump repair), felt I could trust their work and negotiated with them for what I believe was a good price. I have found them to be honest and willing to work with me. My house can be a nightmare. Built in 1978, with lots of quirks! They initially put the gas pipe outside and around the house. Once I saw it I deemed it unacceptable. Very unattractive! David and John got permission to make the change order and took down all the piping and figured out how to go in through walls. Extremely difficult and time consuming but they were wonderful about doing it. What should have taken a day or two took three whole days and I was charged the original bid price. I have worked with Greenbaum three times and have had three difficult projects. We've had to work together to find solutions. They haven't made a killing on working with me ... but they have always come through fairly and with integrity. My house feels great with the new system, I trust Greenwoods work and highly recommend them. There are cheaper companies out there but I have peace of mind, feel like I can call them and they will respond and will back their work. Money well spent. Do your homework, know what you want and you'll be in good hands.
