Description of Work: New furnace and thermostat. Neat and tidy job, very happy with the furnace and install. Highly recommend Greenwood.

Description of Work: I was disgusted by how badly this transaction was executed **FROM BEGINNING TO END**. | |I met with their representative John who gave me a quote which included electrical work. | |I scheduled the installation appointment for a Thursday and had to work from home on that day. However, no one came and I had to call Greenwood only to find out that they had messed up and scheduled it for Friday instead. They couldn't send anyone out to my house on Thursday so I had to work from home again on Friday. I specifically asked if they can finish in time since I was supposed to attend a Mariners game on Friday and would need to be out of the house by 4pm so my wife and I can eat dinner before the game. Greenwood assured me that the installers will come at 7:30am so they can finish early. | |Friday morning came and the installers did not arrive until 8:58am. I asked them why they hadn't come at 7:30am and they said that they were never told by the office to arrive early. | |They worked all day and it was already 6:30pm and they were not done yet. My wife and I already missed our dinner appointment and we did not want to miss the Mariners game also. So we left the house at 6:58pm even though the installers were STILL at the house finishing up work in the backyard. | |We come home from the game and wanted to try out the AC. We set the temp to 66 and waited for a long time. The temperature never moved from 75F. The AC was NOT WORKING. | |I had to call Greenwood and have them fix their broken installation. They were not able to come out until Monday. They spent a few hours at the house and eventually found and fixed the issue. (BTW, there was some furnace duct work that was still not complete and they did not finish until 2 weeks later) | |Before they left, we wrote them a check to settle the bill. | |A few days later, I get a phone call from "As You Wish Electrical" (the electrical company they subcontracted) telling me that I now need to settle their part of the bill to the tune of $1,015.50. I had to look back at what I paid greenwood and realized their bill did not include the electrical work. However, when I got the original quote for the work, the electrical was explicitly stated to be $856.29. So I had to exchange a bunch of emails between "As You Wish" and "Greenwood" telling them that $856 was the amount we agreed on and they did not inform me at anytime that it was going to change. Eventually, they admitted that the miscommunication happened between them and I only had to pay what was originally agreed upon. | |To top it all off, they had a $50/$50 program where my neighbor (who referred Greenwood to me) was supposed to receive $50 and I was supposed to also receive $50 after the work was done. We both never got it. | |I emailed the Greenwood representative about it and never got a reply. They simply ignored me. | |At this point, I was so disgusted by the experience that I decided to just walk away. |It was not just one or two things that went wrong. There were systematic problems in all parts of the transaction. It really did seem like I was their first customer ever and that they had no experience scheduling appointments, communicating with their installers or vendors. They are very unprofessional and the quality of work is horrid. | | | |

Description of Work: Our furnace died unexpectedly. I called Greenwood on Tuesday, they arrived on Wednesday for an estimate, on Thursday we gave them the go-ahead for a Saturday installation. They arrived bright and early Saturday morning and by noon, the new furnace and thermostat were in place. The installers left no trace that they'd been there--the finished room around the furnace was as clean as when they arrived. | |I did have to negotiate a bit on the price. Their initial estimate was much higher, but they came down to match a competitor's like-for-like estimate.

Description of Work: Purchased a new furnace in Jan. 2015 after receiving 4 bids from vendors I researched on Angie's List. All were prompt and accommodated our schedule to meet with sales staff. Purchased a Lennox system from Greenwood as price and product fit our need. Received great service regarding 2 product issues we experienced. We were warned by installer that we would smell a 'gas like' odor for a week of so following installation from sealing of furnace parts for transport. After a week, we called Greenwood and were old it might take more time to dissipate. After an 11 day vacation (and 3-4 weeks after installation), we still smelled gas and called to insist a service tech check this ASAP. Service mgr agreed and gave us his direct phone # and sent someone right over. There was an issue with a seal and it was repaired. In the summer, we noticed the fan/blower was not circulating, requested a service call and the defective motor was replaced, no charge. Am pleased with Greenwood's great customer service and support of products they sell.

Description of Work: Installed AC Unit. It was a great experience. Very professional and fast. They helped us to choose the correct AC Unit for our house and we have loved it!

Description of Work: It is difficult getting a new AC installed in the middle of the summer, especially the hot summer we just complete. Greenwood from sales to installation was a pleasure to work with. Prompt responses to phone calls to even shaving a 1/2 day off the installation by providing an additional tech. | |I would highly recommend.
