Replacement went very well. We were worried that the house would get very cold if we replaced our patio door in winter, but the replacement went so quickly that little heat was lost. The new door moves so quickly and easily that it is a pleasure to use. The new door seems well insulated.

They did a pretty good job and I was pretty happy with it. There was a window that had a problem with the screen and they came and replaced it immediately so I was pretty happy with that. The price was very reasonable. The work was very nicely done. They were all around very good.

Although there was an issue, they were quick to resolve it. It took them a day or two to complete the installation. They were respectful of my home.

Bought the 3 window package X 2 and did the rear widows one year, and did the same for the front windows the next year. Great value highly recommend.

The installation was quick; the crew was polite, did quality work, and cleaned up thoroughly. There were some mistakes by the manufacturer with grids and screens. These issues were resolved by Emerald City without any problem (although it took some reminding). They were a pleasure to work with and I am 100% satisfied with their service.

Emerald City Energy not only responded immediately, but also suggested the type of window I should consider, which was less expensive than what I had calculated. Everyone I dealt with: customer service, sales, billing, the person who came to my home to measure, and the actual installers, was very professional, courteous and helpful.. Everything went as planned and the job itself was done in less than a day. The installation crew of 3 young men made sure they protected my floors from any dirt they tracked in, and then cleaned up so well that except for my nice new windows, I wouldn't have known they were even there. I had a window that would not open and already had a quote from another company in hand. I called Emerald City Energy to see if they worked in Gig Harbor. Unfortunately they do not come out there; however, he did say the quote that I already have is what I could expect to pay with them or any other company. I really appreciate the honor, truthfulness and the courtesy given to me even though I was not going to use them THIS time. I am a REALTOR and will definitely use and refer them to my clients in the area they serve.

We had 3 quotes from Angie's List before deciding with Emerald City Energy. Two of the quotes were fairly identical on price but we went with Emerald because they offered Lifetime warranty and the other companies didn't. We liked Brian's "no pressure sales technique". He was also quick when it came to responding back to questions about our quote. When they finished the 10 windows, they exceeded our expectation on the work provided. Trevor, the main installer is one of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. He paid attention to details when installing and made sure the our place was clean every day when they were done. It took them roughly 5 days instead of 3 days we were quoted but it's totally understandable because of unforeseen circumstance. On the third day of install we noticed a minor damage to one of the windows and they handled it very professionally. Personally I would have been okay with it but my wife wanted it replaced and the response we received from Emerald was very professional and they were happy to replace it. Don't know what else to say but we were just blown away with the awesome looking windows that they installed that we plan on letting them replace our Garage doors and Entry Doors as well!

Initial meeting was for measurements. Installation scheduling was completed as soon as they knew when the materials were delivered by the manufacturer. Communications by office team was always timely, professional and it was really apparent that they appreciated my business. The appointment was for 9 AM, They arrived at about 9:30. Estimated to be complete by 2PM, but were actually finished by just after 1:00 PM. Clean up was very good. Quality of workmanship was excellent! I will use this company again, and will recommend them proactively!

Brian came out to look at the house and give me a quote on new fiberglass windows for my home. He was kind and courteous to my whole family (mother, kids, pets) and took very detailed notes on all of the windows for my home. Brian provided a very detailed quote which was easy to follow and priced right in line with the other three vendors I had quote on windows. Ultimately I decided to go with another vendor for my home's windows because of a friend's personal recommendation and that company's suggestion on a difficult to replace window but Brian and Emerald City Energy were top contenders. I wouldn't hesitate to go with them for a project.

Excellent. They had a special on Angies list for 3 windows for $1,199 and you could purchase up to 2 deals. They cost a little more as the windows were a little larger overall then the deals listed, but after they processed the PSE rebates and all, it was not much more than the deal costs. I had a few vendors come out to place bids and Emerald Energy could not be beat. One of the vendors, a well known and heavily advertised company even advised me after he was not able to come close to the price that Emerald Energy gave me stated that they do excellent work and their window manufacturer makes an excellent product. So I called up to confirm that I was buying 2 deals and Emerald set up an appointment to come out and measure the windows. The house was originally built in 1970 and these were the original windows, so it was time to replace the aluminum framed windows. Emeralds crew came out as soon as the windows were ready and installed all them in one day. We are very happy with the finished product. Pictures will follow.

It was great! They were very easy to work with from the measuring to the installing. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

The company contacted me while I was at work and left a voicemail. They said they would like to do the work, but did not service my area (Kitsap County ~ Silverdale). Based on their reviews being the best, my wife and I were looking forward to the work to be done and had added we were interested in additional windows and a sliding door. The voicemail was professional and was left two days after we purchased the deal. Based on not having anything in the fine print for service area limitations, we are disappointed that we have to find a new provider and that we have to spend additional time contacting customer support to get a refund for the deal.

Overall I'm satisfied with Emerald City Energy. They seem like good people and do very good work. I hired them to replace a lame old aluminum window with a set of new wood and fiberglass windows and to install a new fiberglass entry front door. My house is a 1922 cottage/craftsman style house that had a horrible aluminum window from the 80's installed at some point and a drafty front door. When the salesman from Emerald City Energy came by I showed them original pictures of the house, from the 30's, and explained that I wanted to have new windows installed that agreed with the style of the original windows in the photos. The salesman was great and helped me choose a good set of windows. It took a couple of months to get the windows installed. That wasn't Emerald City Energy's fault though, that was just the lead time that the manufacturer had. When the installation date came they were on time and did a very good job. One thing I appreciated was that the installers were specialists in what they were installing. They weren't just some dudes hired to do a random job. For example, the guy who installed my door told me that he's been installing doors his whole career. The door and window installation was great. The only negative for Emerald City Energy, and this is minor, is that their communication wasn't the best. For example, after I placed the order for the windows and paid the deposit, I didn't hear for them for months until, one day, they called and said "ok, your windows are ready and we'd like to schedule an installation date". I would have appreciated it if had they reached out to me, occasionally, maybe every other week or so, and at least told me that the windows are still being made, or something along those lines. Two days before my installation date they called and said that they wanted to get started a day earlier. This was a little inconvenient for me, schedule wise, but I was eager to have the installation done so... no big deal. On the day of the installation someone called from a company I had never heard before and said that he was coming to install my door. I explain that I was having a door and windows installed. It turned out that he was only installing the door on that day and that the windows were going to be installed the next day... it also turns out that Emerald City Energy does business under a different name as well, and the technician used that name when he called me. No one told me any of this ahead of time so I was rather confused on the day of the installation. All the less-than-stellar communication aside, I'm very happy with Emerald City Energy's work and attention to detail, and I will use them again.

One was a family room 120 x 30 inch window divided into 3 with the center one a slider, 2 bedroom windows that slide up from the bottom (42 x 48 inches) and a large living room window (30 x 54 inches). The living room window had been divided into 6 panes the same size. This was replaced with two 30 inch wide single hung windows on the sides and a 60 inch picture window in the middle. They all look fantastic! They included a Puget Sound Energy discount that I wasn't aware of and a discount for Angie's List member which I am. New double pane windows are thicker than the old single pane windows so make sure they cut back into the frame so the new ones don't stick out in front (especially if it's on the side of the house that gets the most rain). If it is the weather side of the house make sure flashing is installed above the window. Emerald City Energy had the best bid of 3 bids and did an excellent job. We paid half down and the balance when the work was done.

Service person was very good and on time. Responsive to every detail and worked with me as the owner to get it all right. Most importantly, when there was a glitch with fitting 2 windows, they responded with exceptional service to get the right items and get them instelled very well. It always makes a difference when a company takes care of an issue with integrity. The service attitude of everyone I worked with was so good. I will inevitably use them again. Thanks.
