Emerald Painting

It's a good show up front but through the process there were multiple changes (to make the job easier for them). The job was quoted at 3 to four days. It took 7+ (now that I saw the process of the time to paint, wait to dry and come back for another coat, wait to cure etc. its not a rush job by any means) days. They kept trying to convince me you only need one thick coat of primer and one coat of paint where the bid said two coats of paint. They did do two on the face but only one on the back as I want done. The drips on the drawer fronts were and are so noticeable along with 3 very noticeable blemishes on the front of the cabinet doors. My main issue would be there inconsistency. Overall I would "not" recommend them to paint kitchen cabinets. Maybe they are great exterior painters, just not proficient with cabinets.

They were quick to get me a bid. It was a good, fair price. They were personable and though they showed up a few hours late on the first day, they did the work quickly and competently. I did not press them to do a detailed final walk through and touch up as they seemed in a hurry to move on to their next job. That said, they removed some switch plates and did some filling and sanding , but did not remove all switch plates, did not fill all holes and marks or sand them thoroughly before starting and did not do detailed touch up at the end. But they left some paint and I was able to do that stuff pretty quickly. All in all, I was pleased with the speed and price for which they did the work, so I was satisfied.

Norm & his assistant were great they attacked the job, painting a patio wall, with gusto scraping all the loose paint from the structure then priming the edifice and finally putting on the final coat of Paint that we had selected. The patio wall looks better than it ever has. I have painted the structure my self before & know it is a tough job, but they made it look easy. It is always better to hire a professional. My wife is making a list of other painting projects & we hope Norm will be available.

Norm was very professional and had great customer service. He was prompt in replying to any emails and very accommodating when it came to choosing the paint color for our house. We are very pleased with the painting work he did. We will definitely hire him for any future painting jobs.
