I woke up to a cold house in the dead of winter. I walk by Wilson's every morning so I thought I'd look them up; after viewing their website and a previous review here on Angie's List I gave them a call. The young lady who answered the phone was very nice and arranged for someone to come out within the hour. The service technician Jeremy was very nice and inspected the furnace which is in a crawl space. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and I was back warm and toasty within a one-hour service block. The cost was for one-hour of labor and the part. Overall I felt that Wilson's was professional and fair, and I will definitely call upon them again if I am in need of their service. I would definitely recommend them.

We were very pleased with our experience. My first encounter with Wilson's was when a belt broke on our 60 year old furnace- they're in our neighborhood so I stopped by to see if I could get a replacement. Doug Wilson was very helpful and sold me an $8 belt and drew me a diagram to show me how to put it on myself. When the furnace's igniter stopped working a month later, we called them in. They made an appointment and showed up exactly at the time specified. Doug came and found that the old heat exchanger was in bad shape as well. He let me know that the igniter could be replaced by itself or he could send out someone to give me an estimate for a new furnace. I wasn't charged for the service call and he seemed truly regretful that he had to give me the bad news about the expensive repair/replacement. I called back to get a replacement estimate, and again they made an appointment so I could leave work to meet them. Mark gave me several options, and I appreciated that he didn't try to push a solution that wasn't appropriate for our small house. (a 90% efficiency unit would have required expensive new venting). He returned with a helper over the next two days to remove the very large old furnace and install the new one. They were there for the morning of both days, and went back to the shop the afternoon of the first day to fabricate the new ducting. When the city inspector came to check out the work the next week, he told me that Wilson's always did good work and that he couldn't remember ever seeing problems with their installations.
