I first emailed this business through his website and set up an appointment and he was a no show. I called him and he claimed his website doesn't always relay the appointments to him. We made another appointment and he came out to view our bathroom remodel project. When he was at the house I asked him just to tell me if the job was too little. He said no, he would get me an estimate in a week or so. Well, haven't heard from him since and it was months ago. At least have the decency to call or email or text that your'e not interested instead of no response to us again ever. Set our project back by the weeks we waited to hear from him and had to start over looking for a contractor. Don't waste your time setting up an appointment as he may or may not show and he may or may not give you the estimate he promises.

We wanted to just strip off our old wood paneling and wallpaper, then paint. Within minutes Knew we were going to need to replace all the drywall, a much larger job than we expected. We talked to a couple of and quot;handy Menand quot;, but after speaking with John Elmore, I knew this was a professional, experienced, contractor. They completed the job quite fast, and their attention to quality was impressive Price was very fair for the job. We would recommend to any of our friends and neighbors. Great attitude, good clean up, and careful to isolate messy work, so not to transfer construction dust and debris through adjacent rooms in our home. After they completed the project they loaded their equipment and tools, then came back it to do a wipe down and vacuuming, and left a very clean result! That was very important to us but not necessarily expected, so extra points for that!

I contacted John because I needed someone to come out ASAP to take care of some issue at my condo. I was weighing my options between John and another one of Angie's Big deals (6 man hours of labor for ~$300ish). I called both and had my initial conversations to see who would be a good fit. The big deal guys said they'd come out with 2 guys, so the deal would only be good for 3 hrs +$50 hr thereafter. I wasn't convinced they could finish all the work I described within 3 hrs. John was a bit more thoughtful in his responses and was willing to bring out another employee to make sure I was getting my money's worth. I crossed my fingers and committed to John performing the work. He was able to come out on a Saturday. I've never seen anyone as prepared as John. The new sink drains weren't centered like the old ones, luckily (for me) he had all the necessary components. Since my tile contractor was working at the same time on the shower; Ron (John's guy) wasn't able to install the molding around the shower, however he measured, cut, glued and nailed the corner pieces together, so when the tile guys left, it was a simple for me to add to the baseboards. These guys know what they are doing and are very pleasant to work with. I'd recommend True North to my family without hesitation.

John and Catherine worked together on our project of updating an older condo unit. They were outstanding at their work, reliable, pleasant and generous, and offered good suggestions on other aspects of the rehab project. When they saw us carrying large objects up stairs, were quick to lend a helping hand. They were flexible and willingly expanded the scope of work with a moment's notice, and they completed all work within a very reasonable time. The quality of the work done is excellent. I don't think we could have done any better at selecting a contractor. I highly recommend them.
