Tom Emmert Construction

Tom was there on the day and time we agreed on. He explained once again exactly what he would do, making sure that we knew what to expect. He enclosed the area he would be working in so that the drywall dust would not spread throughout the house. Once he finished one section, he talked to us about what would be happening next. At the end of the first day, he went over what he had already done, and what he would do the next day. He then told us that another person would be around later that night to finish the taping and mudding of the drywall and that he would be in the next day to paint. When he arrived the next morning the mud wasn't completely dry, so he brought in a big fan to speed the process up. Leaving the fan, he went to do some other work, returning to do the texturing and painting later. It took about 2 1/2 days to complete the work, but he did a great job. The texturing of the new area on the ceiling and the wall was pretty close to the existing texturing. He and his son cleaned up after they left. All in all, they did a great job, keeping us informed about exactly what he was doing. And he did quality work.
