 + -1 moreIt went well. The deck looks great and we feel safe with our new deck now. Joe did almost all of the work by himself which was impressive cosidering it was second floor deck. We had a couple of minor issues getting the inspection passed, but Joe came back in a timely manner and did what needed to get done in order to pass inspection. We would use him again.
Description of Work: Took down our old wooden second floor deck and built a new one to code - increased the square footage and added stairs down to the back yard.

 + -1 moreJoe did an excellent job! He answered my questons and developed a plan. We decided to go with tiger wood with cedar railing. I love his craftmanship! He was very precise and he used hidden fasteners so there will be no nails showing. The funny part is I took so long to decide and order a door that we have no way to get to the deck and enjoy it! I did go up on it by ladder before the railing was completed. Joe will come back to install the glass door to the deck once it arrives. I look forward to using the beautiful deck!

 + 0 moreJoe was on time, worked hard and was non intrusive of your personal space. As he found things wrong with the old decks he just replaced them correctly. He replaced three sets of stairs that enter the yard and made them wider. These decks are now wonderful to keep clean. We would highly recommend him to others and in fact have. We know where to go if we need further work.
Description of Work: He replaced two large decks, one small deck and put new railings on two other decks.

Description of Work: Joe removed our old deck, built a new lower deck, rebuilt and expanded the upper deck and added a staircase to connect the two decks.(I know the cost sounds high - the decks are HUGE - he was the lowest estimate and far exceeded expectations!) Highly recommend!
