It was all done neatly and quickly. The technician left the job ready for the septic tank vendor. He did not charge us the full amount because there was no blockage that he could fix. We subsequently had the drain field inspected and some of the tiles were crushed and not draining. Once we had that fixed, all was well.

Our kitchen drain was completely plugged. Drano and a "plumber's friend" had no effect. We called two local plumbers, the first was booked through the weekend and the second didn't answer. We called Spartan about 3:00 p.m. and Pat arrived at our house by 4:30 p.m. It took Pat longer than expected to clear the stoppage because it was about 20' down the line and around a sharp 90 degree bend. Pat was very professional, good humored and competent. If we have a plumbing problem in the future we will call Spartan and ask for Pat again.

This is the second time we have used Spartan, the previous time being about 3 years ago, At that time we rated them highly and on this occasion they lived up to what we saw the first time. The service guy was on time, pleasant, honest and just an overall good person to deal with. He went to work right away and fixed the problem and was on his way in under an hour. I recommend them highly and would call them again.

They were very responsive to our needs. The assigned plumber removed an abandon pipe and capped it off to stop leak on an outside fawcett. We were very pleased with our service from Brian. He was able to solve the problem in less than an hour.

Kitchen drain is working better than it has in years and thankfully the sewer line is OK.

Dates are approximate (too long ago) and don't remember the cost--but they did a good job, were responsive and punctual, and the cost was reasonable if not cheap. I'd definitely call them again and have actually recommended them to friends.

Replaced the water pressure valve and valve coming feeding it form the street. What was supposed to be a $200.00 job which ended up being $600.00

My shower head valve keeps on rotating. No stop between hot and cold water. The valve was replaced unnecessarily because it did noting to fix the problem. He showed me where the cold and hot positions are, which I could have done myself. The bottom line is that nothing was fixed.

The evening of January 6th I called for an emergent appointment as my 5yo water heater was not functioning well. The company offered an early next day appointment but due to my schedule came in the afternoon. Their tech, Pat, evaluated, pinpointed and explained the problem as well as took pictures to support my claim to the manufacturer of the faulty unit. He was back the next day and replaced the unit in a matter of hours all the while answering a concerned homeowners questions. When you're out of hot water timely service is a deciding factor. Making calls based on yellow page ads is a crap shoot. I'm thankful for the information Angie's List provided for it reduced the stress of decision making and gave me several options. I'm glad to support privately owned local companies and will call on Spartan Rooter and Plumbing with confidence in the future.

I've worked with the company for years, and this experience was much better than the last. The plumber that they sent did a great job with the piping, he was very responsive and answered all of my questions, and he cleaned up after himself. I also appreciated that he found a solution which allowed him to avoid cutting into my shower wall.

Good service, fair price. I would hire him again. He was knowledgable and friendly.

Spartan Rooter is an awesome company with good communications from our first call. (They hired their drain expert, Mark, 17 years ago, and you know it's a good company when they can keep a guy this good for that long.) Mark was so nice, skilled, a hard worker, and made us realize from the get-go, he was going to fix our backed up sewer/ basement drain. And did. We bought an Angie's coupon, so the work was only $275. (We wondered why Spartan had a coupon, but they did, and they honored it, no add-ons. Now we know they know their quality work will gain customers for life, our friends and family, too. Our basement drain involved a lot more than a snake. Mark hauled in a 350 lb machine and it was not easy, but powerful to clear our sewer line. And he soothed our worries at the same time with his pleasant, yet confident manner. He's such a good representative for his company that I know the whole company has all those good reviews for a reason. We love Angie's list. She's batting 1000% for us. (We were also impressed with the Spartan Plumber, Patrick, that we spoke to on the phone who diagnosed it over the phone). We are happy!

Craig replaced the wax ring with 2 wax rings. The water leak stopped and everything is working well.

During a shower upstairs, water dripped through a vent in the downstairs bathroom. Spartan came out that day and removed a bad faucet, caulked behind and around the new one (that I had - willing to use my item rather than charge me for one of his). Tested the seal and found that the leak was fixed. What I appreciated the most, actually 2 things - used my item and didn't "find" anything else that needed repair! The price was as I was quoted, which seems to be what other companies charge. Plumber was efficient, took an appropriate amount of time, personable.

My Mom's house had two toilets with problems. One sounded like a fountain all of the time, and the other was leaking A LOT. The plumber was very courteous. He showed up during the designated timeframe, and even called us when he was on his way. He gave us an estimate and then did the work. The cost was exactly as he stated. He was very fast and thorough. He completely rebuilt both toilets with brand new parts. Now the toilets don't leak or make any unusual noises. My mom remarked that the toilets even flush better. It's been 3 weeks and everything is fine.

He was so efficient and went to work immediately. He explained everything.

They are excellant. They are prompt and respond right away. I would recommend them again.

I contacted them originally and scheduling went smoothly. He completed the work fairly quickly and seemed very knowledgeable and honest. The repair has been holding up well since. He did mention a new line may need to go in later but at the current time this is not needed. I would definitely consider using their service again in the future when this is needed.

they sent Todd out first thing the next day and he was a huge help....so helpful, in fact, that he explained a way that I might be able to save money by attempting to fix the electrical cord on my existing pump myself instead of immediately buying a new one. Ultimately, I negotiated a way to not have to fix the sump pump at all and will not be needing their services BUT I would have gladly hired them and will think of them in the future.

Called requesting someone to repair a leak on a Sunday. Plumber called me back within the hour and was able to get here in 45 min. No extra charge for weekends. Was fast polite and even considerate about how much of the wall he had to cut out. Made a very neat cut making the repair of the wall minimal. Compared to a similar problem with a different company last year the experience was night and day. Will I use again. You bet I have them on speed dial.

Called in the morning and they were out that afternoon to fix the dripping bathtub faucet in my rental property. They took all my info over the phone so that I did not need to be there and called my tenant before arriving. The plumber was polite,efficient and cleaned up after himself. No more drip and happy landlord and tenant! The price was very fair.

They were early for the appointment and showed diligence to ensure they did the job right. For instance, their camera equipment didn't record the side sewer inspection on the first attempt and there was no hesitation whatsoever to perform the inspection again. I've already used this vendor again a couple times on other jobs.

He did a great job and was willing to come back out when we had issues.
