Since 1986 Sound Exteriors has been providing licensed and bonded general contractor services to the South Puget Sound, located on 112th and Canyon Road in Tacoma, WA. We specialize in FHA, VA, and HUD homes. Americans spend about 90% of their time indoors; shouldn't your home be a healthy and comfortable place for you to live in? There are many projects, large and small, which can bring you more comfort in your home while also protecting your health and the health of the natural environment. Sound Exteriors has been offering small, local, family owned, general contracting services for 26 years. We are now expanding the services we offer to include a host of sustainability focused endevors. We look forward to working with you on your next natural building project! We support local jobs, local commerce, and a local economy and think you should too! We offer a 5% discount on labor for residents of Pierce County.

We now offer residential site consultation and design, remodeling and new construction, garages, decks, paddock fencing, chicken coups, livestock shelters, permaculture design and implementation (low irrigation/low maintinance/edible landscaping) and much more. As of 2013 we will be offering natural buidling options to include: cob, straw bale, waddle and daub, advanced stick framing, and hybrid systems on a site specific basis.
