My family decided to get house painted, and put a down payment of approx $2500 via credit card. Up until this point everything has been great dealing with "Les". He came out to the house and gave an estimate. Things went down hill from there. THe day/morning the crew was supposed to start prepping the house, they never showed up. They never even bothered to call and say they were delayed or not coming out at all. My mother called "Les" 2x's and left messages to see what was going on. Late in the afternoon Les finally called back while my mom was on the other line and left a message saying he was so sorry, this never happens and he would find out what happened and call back. In the message it was very clear he was surprised by this information that no one showed up. At this point, my family decided they did not want to do business with a company that doesn't show up when they say, and doesn't even know when one of their crews doesn't show. A message was left with Les that my family would like a refund and they were no longer a trust worthy company to deal with. Things got bad from there. Les then called back and lied. At this point, he had already called and said that his "crew" was in a bad cell service area and couldn't call and say they weren't coming. He now got some attitude and changed his story saying he had called earlier and left a message his crew couldn't make it. Lies. I checked caller id, and watched my mother check for messages hourly see if she missed any calls. At this point, i stepped in and called Les to talk to him about his statements and offer proof that i know he was lying, and he was being very unprofessional to my mother. He then called my mother again and took his story back and begged her to not cancel the order. 2 days later i attempted to called the owner "Mike" about his employees behavior, and a refund. I relayed the story to receptionist and asked that the owner call me, no response. called again and left another msg with an employee asking to have owner call me, asked if the 1st msg was relayed, she said it was. Again, no response. The owner Mike never bothered to call us back, we waited over a month. Finally, we had to call the credit card company and have them freeze that downpayment money as cardholder dispute. At that point the LLC in florida got involved. They also tried to contact Mike and he wasn't returning the LLC's calls either. They were appalled and what happened and said that the money would be refunded absolutely.
Description of Work: my family signed up with the company for house painting and prep. They did not show up the day they were supposed to start house prep and did not call.

We were given the run around when we tried to cancel. In the end, they received $3,000 of our money and provided no service or refund.
Description of Work: Company came out and did the estimate, stated that a $3K deposit was needed for the service. After giving the company $3K we decided not to move forward with the service. When we contacted them to cancel the service they were non responsive and took a week to return our call. Then tried to get us to take the lowest package and when we told them we just wanted to cancel and get our money back they said they had already order the material and could not refund our money. They kept our $3K and never provided a service.

It is the only product like it on the market. I am finding that it changed the insulation value in the walls on my 80-90 year old house. We still have the original windows and even those are less drafty now. In the summer, the house did not heat up as fast. I really am enjoying the product. The service was wonderful. I just wish they had more of a presence in this area. It did take a long time for them to become available. I am extremely happy with the results. It looks awesome.

The job is not finished. It has been horrible. The work they have done needs to be redone. We are currently arguing over it. We will be trying to deal with it in the spring now since the weather has changed.
