Ryan was referred to me from a friend. He's a super nice guy... couldn't have liked him more... at the time. Still, I like him, I just wish that he was more professional. 1- His initial bid turned out to be SUBSTANTIALLY lower then the project ended up costing... by like, twice! I can understand some cost over-runs but... whoa... that was a big miscalculation! 2- I wish, in retrospect, that he would have steered me in a different design direction then we ended up going in. It appears to me now that a different design would have been more interesting to the eye, more cost effective and would lead to fewer maintenance issues. 3- He mentions the he has a guarantee on his work. That does not seem to be the case. There are some minor problems that developed ... he came and observed the problem... even offered a solution. I've been trying for months to have him execute those solution ideas.... I'd even pay him the labor costs to get it done but... that leads me to the next concern. 4- He just stopped responding to me. By email or phone. I'm really quite polite. I understand he is busy but... come on. Tell me you are really busy and that you'll follow up in X time. Again, Ryan is a good guy but just not professional enough to recommend.
