+ -1 moreHe promised to come within an hour; he was at my door half an hour later. Very polite, friendly guy. He fixed the lock and played with my small dog who wanted to jump all over him. He got right to work as soon as he came and 20 minutes later he was finished! If anyone needs a locksmith this is the go-to guy!
Description of Work: Back door lock was broken, wouldn't open or close from inside or outside. It's a doorknob lock and he replaced the backset.

+ -1 moreI went through Angie's List called four locksmiths. The prices were about the same for all of them, he was just a few dollars less.He was however, able to come the very next day. So we went with him because we thought the sooner the better. He arrived, we showed him all the doors and locks and he started right away.
Description of Work: The locksmith rekeyed 13 doors/locks. He also explained what we would need to do for an existing original lock. He came on time, was very nice and all the work was done in two hours.

We had to replace our cleaning service and this required us to change alarm codes and re-key the secuirty lock on the entrance gate and replace the lock on our front door. This is the second time I've used ABC Lock and Key and both times they've done an excellent job for me. They responded quickly, were courteous,thorough and charged a fair price. If needed I'll definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreThe lock on our front door failed, couldn't be unlocked with the thumb screw inside or with the key from the outside. I started calling locksmiths around 9AM. The first 2 I called didn't have the time or the manpower, I was getting frustrated, then I called ABC Lock & Key. ABC Lock & Key was great. They responded same day. The price was reasonable, the technician was thorough and polite. If you need a locksmith, call these people.

+ -1 moreIgnition lockups on Fords are very common, and usually cost around $500 to replace the ignition and keys. I called the Tacoma branch of ABC Lock and Key and they came out to my house within an hour. Mark, the technician, quickly set about fixing my problem. It took about an hour to complete. When he finished he walked me through everything he had done. He even replaced the ignition with a better quality one so this wouldn't happen again. And it cost about half of what a dealer would charge for the same work. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Replaced the ignition in my Ford Focus, which had locked up on me. Also re-keyed a new chip set key.
