N.W. Plumbing Connection was able to schedule a same day appointment and arrived on time. Tim, a friendly and knowledgeable plumber, gave me options, possible alternatives and price estimates. After choosing the options, Tim completed the work performed quickly and cleaned the areas afterwards. I was told that they are on call and available for emergencies 7 days a week/24 hours a day. (premium rates may apply). Thank you and I would hire again.

Dan came out for a bid and I was really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He gave me the bid while he was at the house. Of the six different plumbers working on the house, I was pleased with all but one who didn't introduce himself after I introduced myself and also did two seperate things that required redoing by different plumbers the next day. He also had a generally bad attitude and spoke to me as if I wouldn't understand, which is common since I am a woman in my twenties, but it always stings a little. Overall, there were some serious communication issues amongst multiple people in this company. No matter how many times I called and was assured, and no matter how many times I informed the plumbers, I had trouble convincing them that I wanted them to put supply lines in my house. Ultimately, the work was completed quickly and it was completed well. All at a fair price. I expect to hire this company again for future work.

Update: Matter was resolved professionally and amicably.

I was merely looking to get a bid on some plumbing work. I called and the receptionist said she would have a plumber in my area--and that they would be calling and/or stopping by between 12-1 p.m. I waited until 1:00 p.m. and called them, asking if anyone was going to show up. The receptionist said the plumber was very busy that day but they would try to get to me. I never heard back from the receptionist and the plumber was a no-show. I guess they do not want my business? I obviously am not interested in hiring them. I simply was looking for a price quote, but if they cannot call me to let me know they cannot make it, I need to go with someone that will show up when they say they will. I can understand they were (are?) busy, but a simple phone call would have went a long ways.

The provider failed to meet it's appointment. I called 3 times while waiting, the scheduler kept delaying, finally had to reschedule for the next day. Even then I had to beg to get someone to come out first thing the next morning. I missed a day and a half of work waiting for them. I do not recommend and will not use again.

The tank they planned to use would not fit in space so I purchased and they installed. Problem: old tank would not fit through space, must have built around it.

I called NWPC after reading all the positive reviews on Angie's List. We moved into our house a year ago, and after having some shoddy plumbing work done during renovations prior to moving in, we were excited to have a well-reputed plumber coming into our home. On Tuesday July 9, Dan came out to our house to bid a job to replace the galvanized drainpipes for both our bathroom (which was clogged) and kitchen (running slow). We were debating on whether to just have the pipes cleaned versus replaced, and since the cleaning had a straightforward cost, we decided to have an estimator (which ended up being Dan) come out to bid the replacement. Dan was very nice and professional when visiting our home. He offered advice that made sense and was clear on the work to be performed. He told us he would email a bid to us, which he did by the end of the day. After looking at the bid, I called the next day to clarify some of the work (Dan added in the installation of a garbage disposal I already had that could not install myself due to the spacing of the drainpipe under the sink, and I wanted to clarify whether I could save some money by doing that part myself). The woman who answered the phone said Dan was on a job and that she would have him call me. I never received a call back from him. I then called on Thursday (and Dan answered the phone) at which time we spoke to clarify the work (as stated above). After clarifying it made sense to have NWPC to do that installation, I told Dan I wanted to talk it over with my wife as to how were going to proceed. We then agreed to have his secretary call us to schedule (since we were going to hire them either for the replacement or the cleaning). I never got a call back. After waiting for the call (and debating whether or not we should use NWPC), my wife and I decided to just have the bathroom pipe cleaned. I called on Friday afternoon and was scheduled by a woman from 9-10 on Saturday, 7/13. At 10:15 this morning, after no plumber had shown, I called the phone number and spoke to Jason. He said he had no record of a job and that he already had two other calls to which he committed himself. I must say that he was very pleasant and apologetic. He did say that it was not his fault and that it was the fault of his secretary, and that he would try to come out and quot;in the next hour or twoand quot; when he finished the jobs he had. We agreed to have him call me when he was finished to see whether I would be home. In the interim, I found another service to do the cleaning of the bathroom pipe, and called Jason to free him from the job; again, he was very apologetic for the miscommunication. I am from Tacoma and like to support local businesses, particularly when the people are pleasant, professional and trustworthy. While the experience was frustrating overall, it is more saddening that the events unfolded the way they did. I wanted to give my hard-earned money to a local business, but in the end I am now feeling more like an inconvenience to the company (and only part of my problems solved). With all the positive reviews from Angie's List, I hope this was just bad luck on our part, but there is no way I can recommend NWPC after our experience.

North End did a great job with fixing the plumbing up. The leak is totally stopped, although the floor was damaged before I even got to call them.

Technician Jason was at my house within about 30 minutes of the initial phone call (on a Saturday) to a really messy situation and VERY patiently spent quite a bit of time trying to pin down the cause of a flood in my basement. It was clear that the initial cause was torrential rain that had been coming down for days, but it was difficult to find what area of the drains were blocked. He was finally able to determine a couple issues - with roots growing into the drain, and with the sewer. He took care of both problems, then pumped a significant amount of water out of my basement. He was there for approximately 2.5 hours doing a frustrating, messy, cold, wet job on a Saturday, but was never anything but polite and nice. I also thought the amount I was charged was reasonable considering the amount of time spent and that it was on a weekend day.

I would highly recommend them! It's so nice to deal with a company with great ethics and values! Thanks for taking good care of our client!

Very swift diagnosis, fix and main line clear out. The process was easy and the price was better than anyone else that bid on it.

My husband called NW Plumbing to get an estimate for repairing a toilet drain line under the house. We got 3 estimates, and NW Plumbing was located closest to the job site and was competitive with their pricing. So, we decided to go with them. However, they said that they would start the job on Thursday or Friday. Thursday came and went. Then Friday. By the end of the day on Friday, we had not heard from them, so my husband called and talked with a secretary. He told her that NW Plumbing was to have done our job on Thursday or Friday, and that we had not heard from anyone yet. He said that he understood if something came up, but that he would appreciate a little better communication. She said that she would have someone call. We never got that call. My husband has tried to reach them again, with no success. That was over 2 weeks ago now. So, we hired someone else. I do not understand how a company with this kind of work ethic and lack of professionalism or communication skills could possibly earn an and quot;Aand quot; rating on Angie's List. We are extremely disappointed. This is why we joined Angie's List and so far, it is a bust!

We were notified by our water company that we were using an unusual amount of water and that there might be a leak in our water line.We called 3 companies for estimates and they came in with the lowest bid. We got the estimate in the morning and the work was completed that afternoon. We were without water only when the connection was being switched over. Labor technicians were prompt, friendly, and efficient. Couldn't ask for better service!

Had a leaking sewer cleanout inside the garage. They quickly discovered the cast iron had stripped threads. Rather than pushing a major repair, they suggested a rubber plug which would expand to fill the grooves.All fixed in 10 minutes for only the travel cost plus $20 for the part.

Working with NW Plumbing was a pleasant experience. They did their best to find the perfect fixtures, faucets and valves for our needs. They cleaned up everything better than it was to start with. Of all the contractors we used in updating the house, they were the best.

Jason and partner were professional courteous and hard-working. Excellent service.

We called N.W. Plumbing at 8:00 am and Jason was here by 9:15am and left at 9:45 am. He went right to work. Jason was quick, efficient, explained all procedures. He saved the week-end for us and we are so appreciative. We have other plumbing projects in mind for the future and N.W. Plumbing will be on the top of our call list. Thanks Jason we are very pleased with your work and your professional manner.

I called NW Plumbing at 10:00 and they came around noon. They identified the problem and had it fixed withing 45 minutes. They were polite, clean and professional explaining exactly what they found and how they would fix it. Loved the great service.

I was impressed with him. However, he charged me for his time to go to Home Depot.

Micah was knowledgeable, professional and explained our problems well. He noticed some other problems and gave us an estimate on what our options were and what it would cost to replace shut off valves for sink. He did this without pressuring us.

It went really well. They were very friendly and very clean. He was very conscious of that but when I turned the shower on, the water is not going in the shower properly so I have a call in for them to come back today. Overall it was good. They were really nice when I called back they said that the technician would call back today. The price seemed reasonable but I don't know much about plumbing. They were very professional and we will use them again.

They were very professional and punctual. Even thought I didn't get the work done, they gave me a bid. The person who gave me the bid seemed to be an expert in his field. I plan on hiring them even though their price seemed like it may have been a little on the higher side.

They delivered what they said they would do. They were really friendly and did good service. They did a demolition on the existing tub and cleaned everything up. The tub is working fine now. I was happy with what they did. They were professional and down-to-business. They got in there, did the job quickly, and finished up nicely. The price was a little more than I thought the job would be, but it was fine.

First the plumber came to view the existing heater and check its dimensions. It was covered with a fiberglass blanket and I didn't know the capacity. Since it was short, and the house is a one-bedroom, I believed it was a 30-gallon tank. The price quoted for replacement of a 30-gallon was $671. After we saw it was a 52 gallon tank, I asked that it be replaced with a similar size. Somehow this added $200 to the quoted price. Since the invoice was not itemized, I don't know how this increase was accounted for; parts, labor, whatever. He returned in one and half hours as he had stated with the new tank and installed it. This went well and he answered the few questions I had. There was a lot of iron or rust sediment left behind on the floor which he did not clean up but it just took me a few minutes. I was happy to have hot water again and to have the old heater and fiberglass debris hauled away.
