+ -1 moreJohn met us at our home and walked through it with us in anticipation of a major remodel. From there he prepared a very detailed and set of drawings of the existing home that included notes about many ideas that we had discussed during the visit. For various reasons (completely unrelated to this work), we decided to put the remodel that we had discussed on hold so we never had a chance to continue working with John and his team but he was very professional, friendly and nice to work with and we would happily recommend him.
Description of Work: Provided detailed documentation and measurements of an existing home in preparation of a large remodel.

+ -1 moreJohn was a joy to work with. He was responsive, kept his appointments and was on time. His plans for the house were beautiful and exactly what I wanted - unfortunately I needed to scale back the scope of the remodel to stay in my budget. He helped revise the plans to do that. When I had a great deal of difficulty with the remodeling company doing the work, he helped advise me on what my rights were and how best to try to resolve the problems. He was supportive of me and helped me get through a very difficult situation. If I ever need to do hire another architect, it will be him. He was professional and I have to say he was worth 3x what I was billed.
Description of Work: Plans for a full house remodel, involving 2 floors, kitchen remodel and 3 bathrooms.

+ -1 moreI already had one proposal from an architec with 25+ years of experience and then John Deploma showed up with better ideas that would work with my existing floorplan. He was willing to work with me and offered many good suggestions. He also guided me through the permit process that I got right away! The fee was very reason. I would recommend him.
Description of Work: I needed an addition for a new kitchen. The existing floor plan was very non functional and inadequate. My plan is to add a 230sf kitchen and make the existing living room into a great room in order to entertain.
