Kliemann Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning

Kliemann Brothers installed the HVAC system in my house. When I was getting the ducts cleaned out as I was watching the tech remove screws from the air return grill water started coming out. I turned off the water supply and investigated. Kliemann had screwed the screw to the air return into the PEX water pipe. I called them up to come take a look at it and the manager made all kinds of excuses. Water pipe put in after they were finished (no there black duct paint was on the water line. Water line moved (no other holes or any evidence that it was moved). I asked that they come look at it because if they did they could see that it was improper installation. They would not even come and look at it. Do not use Kliemann Brothers as they do not stand behind their work.

Glad my heater is working now, but not a good experience getting it done. On time, but would've liked a :15 pre-call. Other services I've used do this. Serviceman came to door without introducing himself. Just asked if furnace was in garage. When I told him it was in the attic (which I told the office when I made the appointment), he rolled his eyes and said, "I hate going in the attic." He got slippers and a ladder. The ladder left dirty drips all the way up the stairs as he bounced it along. Part of the reason I chose this company was the 5% coupon shown on Angie's List. He didn't know anything about it. I called the office, and they didn't know either. They did not give me a discount. Said I had to buy a service plan. Would have chosen another company with coupon if I had known this ahead of time. When I wanted to keep the packaging for the part he put in, he seemed put out. A lot of money for a small part. I should get the package without question. Will not recommend or use them again.

Office staff, salesman and installers all were professional and friendly. Aaron and Drew did a great job installing and running new venting through the attic. The job was done, including new thermostat, in clean and orderly manner. Instructions were clear and concise. I will use Kliemann Brothers for all maintenance, and for the water heater when it's time.

We ordered our furnace through Lowes and this was the contractor they use. They did a good job and were punctual and cleaned up after themselves.

Nice people that have come out. Informative. Just expensive for all the contracts. I wish they would do all the services at once, instead I have to call them back a few times a year for different services under my contract...aka take time off work.

They were in and out in an hour. Tech explained what was going on and showed me the part that had to be replaced and why.

I used the three bears approach and contacted three vendors from Angie's list. All were responsive within 1-2 days to inspect existing system and provide bids for replacement. I own a few rental houses and am adequate with wiring, plumping, etc but did not feel confident replacing a heat pump. Took me some time to compare the bids as I'm not a HVAC expert but after educating myself somewhat (still not an expert) and arranging my thoughts on a spreadsheet I went with Kliemann Brothers. Pricing is (approx) and from my review the systems were fairly comparable. $5000 $6000 (KB) $10,000 My own bias but I never go with the lowest bid. Probably is no real logic behind this approach other than I've seldom been unhappy with work I've received over the years. KB's contract was clear, and concise, and no payment was required until after completion of the work. This provides some peace of mind since you would have some leverage to negotiate if things had not been done to your satisfaction. I don't recall if other vendors had same terms you'll have to double check this one yourself. I worked with Jason at KB. He's quick to answer emails and call back if you have a question. Orignal system was dying and on "emergency heat" setting which for heat pumps systems means it's gulping down juice faster than I drink beer on a Friday night after a real bad week. I pleaded for a quick turnaround (I'm the typical customer - spend a week reviewing bids and asking questions then wanting the job done yesterday) and to their credit they had project permitted and installed within two days of my signing the contract. Technician did a excellent job, cleaned up the place spotless,and even programed the new thermostat so my renter and I did not have to be bothered to actually read the instructions (as I said I'm a typical customer). All of the vendors had various financing options available which you can be preapproved for. I did not investigate any other than KB's. They had a nifty 12 same as cash option if you enjoy using other folks money (at no cost) like we do as well as couple others. You go online and get prepproved without a lot of aggravation or boxes to fil out. I gave KB high marks because they lived up to expectations, their quick response on the install, and the fact there were no "oh oh" moments afterwards. As I mention I tend to spend a bit more with the expectation of zero hassle (I buy Toyota's for same reason) and KB met that expectation. Obviously we were happy with the job becasue we had Jason provide a quote for heat pump and furnance for our home (why should my renter have AC and we don't???) and am currently pestering Jason with all kinds of changes to bid (can we have the heat pump in purple? Blue? Yellow?) which he responds to promptly. Long story short - probably lots of great HVAC folks out there. My own experience is pushing me to use Kliemann Brothers as my vendor of choice.

They seem to be reputable and seem to be consistent in what work we get out of the deal. So we are happy with them. The price was probably not the least expensive, but it was competitive for the quality.

Went very well from start to finish.

I had numerous issues with my heat pump and three different service companies out. Kliemann Brothers was the only company to actually find the issue and correct it in a quick manner. The other companies wanted more than twice the price to make repairs and it ended up the repairs they wanted to perform were not what was wrong with the unit. Only Kliemann Brothers was able to diagnose and repair the unit. The serviceman arrived on time in a neat and clean uniform and was very informative while performing the repair. Other companies bids were for 5-6 hours of time. Kliemann Brothers took the extra step and left the equipment on overnight so the heat pump would be properly prepared for the repair the next morning. For the first time since the unit was installed 5 years ago, it has worked properly through both the hot and cold weather periods without interruption. As a licensed home inspector, who deals with hvac equipment, I will now only recommend Kliemann Brothers for repairs or installations.

Great service and great price highly recommend

After inspection and tune-up, tech reported the motor was never mounted in unit. Tech called dispatch to find out how much it would cost for him to mount. Tech told dispatch it would take 15-20 min. Dispatch said $60. I stood out in the garage and it only took him 5 minutes. I was still charged $60 for 5 minutes, that is more than a Surgeon makes! This company rips people off !

This company installed the heating and A/C system in our house. The builder was cheap and so the heating system was not really built to accommodate a home as large as ours. They went out of their way by leaps and bounds to help us in any way they could. They worked very hard and did what ever it took to help us come to a solution, even though it wasn't their fault. These folks are awesome. Manny really went above and beyond as have the owners and technicians to make sure that EVERYTHING was working perfectly. They even did work they didn't have to do just to make sure we were okay. Highly recommended!

company responded to my request to use a reduced-price coupon for an air conditioning check-up and service. They set up an appointment withi 10 days of my call. They arrived on time, did their service and answered all my questions. The representative was courteous and very professional. I will gladly use this company again for service on my equipment and will definitely include them for an estimate when it is time to replace the unit. I'm a very happy customer.

They did an alright job, but were not as thorough as the previous person I had used.

The part was ordered and installed within three days. The technicians who came to the house (once for inspection, later for installation) were polite, on time, and professional. They did exactly what they said they would do, and double checked to make sure everything was correctly installed and operating. I did receive a call the next day from the main office to check on how the visit had gone and whether I was satisfied. I was very happy to have worked with Kliemann Brothers.

The guys from Kliemann were professional, explained what they would be doing and listened to any ideas and/or concerns I had about the system. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood how and where the installation of the system would look. The unit was installed where there were minimal exposure of the conduits and wiring. They ran the piping thru my attic and the electrician (Contracted thru Superior Electrical Solutions) did a great job because he took the time and was successful in running the electrical wiring through the wall to the electrical panel which made the this installatiion eye appealing without exposed wiring. I appreciated him taking the time to do this. The entire installation took five(5) hours and worked great. They guys left no mess and I would refer this company to my friends for any ac/heating and electrical work. I usually try not to deal with contractors because they skip steps and don't seem to care about the foundation of their work as long as it looks nice on the outside. I commend these guys on the quality of their work from beginning to end. Also, in my research I found the Kliemann Bros. is 'Diamond Certified' for installing the Mitsubishi Duct Less AC/Heating system. If you need so AC/Heating work, I highly recommend Kliemann Bros.; at least included them as one of the companies to get an estimate from before you make your decision. You will be impressed and they are very good about answering your questions.

The repairman arrived on time & performed the service check-up on my gas furnace including changing the filter. I was concerned that I would be pressured to sign a service contract with them but that didn't happen. Good positive experience.

From the first phone call to Kliemann Brothers it was a great experience. They took care of everything, including getting the permit. They explained exactly what they had to do and did it well and without any hassle to us. They were prompt, professional and friendly.The work came in under the initial bid. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. I will definitely call them for any further service we might need and I'd highly recommend them to a friend or family member.

The experience overall has been great. I waited to file a report to allow time for the equipment to be used and tested. By signing up with any HVAC Supplier you also sign up with their selected suppliers; in this case Trane and Bradford and White. Preston was great to work with and I ask a lot of questions. Preston helped me identify a higher BTU quick recovery water heater vs. the economical options per my request and we love it. 3 simultaneous showers, dishwasher running, and a load of laundry later and we still have hot water. The installation looks picture perfect and the installation crew was very professional. The furnace install went okay as the condensate pump installed was seized out of the box and was not tested prior to departure. Adon was quick to respond and repair the issue under warranty. As I have a three wire thermostat setup my install uses a separate thermostat control module at the furnace that failed during the recent power outages however Adon was there the next day and replaced the thermostat and thermostat control module under warranty. I obtained 4 different quotes for this work before deciding to go with Kliemann Brothers and Trane (the most expensive). Other than the concerns with the Thermostat (Honeywell) failing during some future power outage I am very happy with Kliemann Brothers, Preston, the scheduling assistants, the installation crew, and Adon for the service repairs. I plan to do additional work with Kliemann Brothers in the coming years.

Great service, friendly and helpful employees. They did a great job and we'd definately call them again.

Everything went alright. They couldn’t determine where the leak was coming from. It didn’t really seem like the technician knew what he was doing. They said they would come back out to look at it.
