Kliemann Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning

It was terrific. They were very helpful and very nice. The tech who came out was terrific. They were very nice and very professional. I was very happy with them. They were very prompt, very knowledgeable, very clean cut, very neat and I was impressed. They'd get an A. It was a young man who came out.

There was some miss-communication between the salesman and the subcontracted electrician (size of job), but the electrician completed the job anyway. Other than that, the installation went smoothly. There was an error in acquiring the electrical permit, but Kliemann and the subcontractor got it taken care of. It only delayed the close out inspections by 1 week. My only real complaint is that the guys who performed the installation smelled like smoke, but they were clean and courteous.

Austin, the technician was very personable and helpful answering all of my questions. He never left me feeling I was intruding and genuinely was interested in sharing his knowledge. Both my furnace and heat pump were in working order.

Technician arrived at 12:25 which was just inside the 11:30-12:30 window I was given. He removed his shoes after entering. As he was working on the furnace, he explained what he was doing and did not mind me watching over his shoulder. He was personable, friendly and professional.

The service man cleaned the filters and checked all wires to be sure everything was okay on the installed portions both inside and outside the house. Although the inside portion is located at a height on the wall higher than I care to climb, he took the time to show me how I might clean the filters in the future. He was very professional, and I would certainly call Kliemann Bros again.

Serviceman (Don) showed up on time and was very courteous. He explained what he was doing and what to look for in the future. ex. cleaning filter and so forth. I will definitely use them in the future.

The gentleman was on time and very professional. He recommended replacing the old furnace rather than putting in more money if major repairs were needed in future due to its age. He did not try the High Sales pitch which some usually do but did provide recommendations of course which i knew about as well because i had done my research prior to hiring them. I would definetely use them in future.

Using Angie's List I narrowed my search for an HVAC provider to replace my forced air heat source to something new and also to add some cooling for the summer months. I choose to go with Kliemann Bros because they were local and according to other reviews they were good and also a Trane Dealer. They were in the upper end of the middle in the price range but still it was in the middle. Jason was on time and thorough with his estimate without undue pressure. I accepted the quoted price and even added an air cleaner, and I was scheduled for install after the holidays. On January 5th Carlos and Brian arrived onetime and ready to start work. Both were very pleasant and professional and were sure to take care of my house buy using boot covers and laying down blankets to protect my carpet. They had to reconfigure my ductwork to fit my new air handler in my attic and what I ended up with was great. Not only did they give me access to my air cleaner, Carlos game me a little place to step to access the unit. I was impressed with the whole crew that I had to deal with. Jason even followed up on the sale by stopping by, which was a nice touch. I can highly recommend the Kliemann Brothers not only because they are local but also because they are good! I will continue to use the Kliemann Bros for my HVAC needs. Thanks and kudos to Jason, Carlos, Brian, Nate Tabitha and Chris. I am very happy with my heat pump so far.

Another company tried to tell me that I needed a new furnace, but Kliemann assured me I did not, and instead made the necessary repairs.

I have a three year contract with them. I think they do a good job and my interaction with them was excellent. The work they did turned out great.

The technician arrived promptly at the scheduled time and introduced himself. The gentleman advised me the service call would be $89 to which I agreed. I explained that the indoor and outdoor unit appeared to be operating but no heat was being produced. The young man showed good respect for my interior and donned shoe covers every time he entered the house. After adjusting the thermostat to call for heat he went outside an disassembled the cabinet to exposed the electronics. A quick review drew him to measure the output of a capacitor which was bad. At that point, while he didn't say so, I believe I could have ask him to secure the unit and made the repairs myself after obtaining the parts. That is a strong positive for this company. I elected to have him repair the unit which he did in about 5 minutes. I then asked that he service the complete system to which he advised me it would be $119. While servicing the unit, he made multiple entries into a small personal computer of sorts without comment. When he finished he said everything was fine and delivered a bill for $371.02. The first 10 minutes cost $89, the next 5 minutes cost $153.96 and the next 20 minutes cost $119. In fact, it appeared that more time was spent entering data than actually doing the work as the technician was there for an hour. I believe the hour rate competes with what most people pay their health care provider and seems a bit expensive. However, I was appraised of the cost of the service call ($89) and the maintenance inspection ($119). I was surprised with the cost of the capacitor and in fact appeared to get a deal as the young man said he had one for my unit and did not have to install the more expensive universal unit. At this point everything is working as it should. I would like to compliment Stephanie who I believe is one of the office support team. I called and asked for a written report on the condition of my equipment as the young man made multiple entries into his small handheld computer and felt I had paid for the information so I wanted it in my personal files. Stephanie indicated it could not be printed from their software and offered to retrieve the information, hand-type it into an E-Mail, in order to send me a report. This was over and above what the normal customer receives and she should be commended for her customer service. However, I found it to be unfortunate that no report was available especially when my doctor delivers a written report for my physicals and charges less per hour. I told Stephanie that she could forget the report as I will continue to use Angie's list to find a new heating vendor who would share the technical information on my system with me in writing, (if they use a similar data collection system) especially when I'm charged for the service.

We had them come down for a quote and we decided against not going with them. My husband said the estimate was really high, I'm thinking it was around $8000. They were professional but they were a little too expensive for us. I believe they got back to my husband really quickly. They seemed knowledgeable about their business so I don't have any complaints about this company. They were too expensive. They didn't do the service. They were right on time. We probably will not use them again just because they are too expensive.

Good. They kinda have an expensive product but they also say that it's top of the line, I suppose to, middle of the line. And, it end up saving me a lot of money.

Unfortunately I haven?t had as good as an experience with Kliemann Brothers as the other reviewers seem to have had. I contacted them near the end of February and scheduled an appointment for someone to come to my home and discuss my needs for replacing my inefficient furnace and add AC at the same time. The scheduled appointment went very well and the person was very professional. We discussed a few options to help solve our heating and cooling problems. He said he would get us a quote early the next week, which to me meant I would see something on Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday the latest. By Thursday I hadn't seen anything so I emailed them, provided some additional information, and asked if it was still the plan to have a quote that week. I didn't get any sort of reply back. I waited until the following Monday and called the office and spoke to the receptionist who tried to look up a quote using my name but wasn't able to find anything. She told me she would give the consultant I had worked with a message that I hadn't yet received the quote and also gave me his cell number. Expecting to see something that day, I held off on calling his cell number for a day. Nothing showed up on Monday, so I called and left a message on his cell number on Tuesday. As of today I haven't heard anything from him by phone or email. I?m disappointed by the lack of response especially based on all the glowing reviews and a recommendation from my neighbor. I guess it is better to know now then in the middle of an expensive equipment purchase.

Kliemann Brothers was one of very few bright spots in a miserable build experience with the general contractor Fox Custom Homes. Kliemann stood by their products and their labor. They came out on three separate occasions, two of them after the official warranty had expired to correct issues that my husband and I had. The last occasion was to deal with a filter frame which didn't hold filters of the specified size. We'd had some luck with filters we'd been given by Kliemann. but filters purchased at Costco and Home Depot just would not slide in properly. We had to bend them and shove them in. I wrote to Kliemann and asked them if we couldn't work something out, since, despite the fact that the warranty was well past expiration, the part in question was a non moving part mechanical part. I don't know quite what I expected...but what I got was a courteous phone call from a tech, an appointment which worked for MY schedule, and the frame adjusted so the filters now slide in properly. I have been recommending Kliemann to any of my friends and co-workers who are looking for heating and cooling solutions. The heat-pump they installed easily kept our home (which is full of HUGE windows) at 72 degrees even during the hottest days when temperatures were in the upper 90's. The products they use are top quality, and their technicians clean up after themselves, as well as wearing booties in the house without being asked. They are professional and stand by their work. What more can anyone ask for?

I felt they were professional, and did a good job. That was the first time I used them. I would recommend them if someone was looking to repair the furnace. I haven't had any problems with my furnace since.

We could not get an appointment with the original installer of our HVAC system (when the house was built) for at least 2 days. We searched on Angie's list for HVAC services near our home, and found Kliemann brothers' reviews satisfying enough to make them our first call. Their customer service person put us in touch with a service facilitator, who was able to offer a technician visit within a little less than 24 hours. Our technician arrived within 15 minutes of the appointment time, even after we had snowfall during the night. He explained what he would do, based on his initial inspection. He also asked if we had considered a maintenance plan that would not only offer reduced labor charges on this visit, but provide 2 additional preventive maintenance visits for our cooling and heating over the next year. He did not high pressure us, gave us rates with or without purchasing a maintenance plan, and proceeded to work on troubleshooting the problem. He was efficient, answered our questions in a friendly manner, and spoke well of the company he worked for (with them 15 years). The work was completed, along with an initial preventive maintenance service, in a very reasonable amount of time. We were glad we checked Angie's list for providers, and glad we called Kliemann brothers first. We are very satisfied with the service we received.

Since I was satisfied with Brennan, I will stick with Brennan.

We chose them because of the finish work (hiding the unsightly piping for the heat pump). We are very satisfied with the completed project.

Professional, responsive and on time. They laid the foundation for my gas inserts, oven, and water heater in a way that maid my appliance installations easy and affordable.
