Whether you are dealing with the loss of a loved one or beginning a life-style transition, we can assist with all your estate and personal property needs. Many people do not realize the extent of responsibility they assumed when agreeing to serve as a personal representative for an estate. In addition to the grief they are experiencing, they may have no experience dealing with these matters, may not live close to the estate residence or small business, or simply may not have the time or emotio
We had a LOT of accumulation over the years. We had a 2400 sf home with an additional 900 sf attic and a 660 sf outbuilding with an attic. We also ran a computer repair business out of our home and had a lot of electronics/parts, etc. Everything was full. Our house had sold and we were downsizing to RV living so pretty much everything had to go. We had a lot of unconventional stuff to sell, including musical equipment, instruments, and electronics. Initially, we got off to a rocky start due to my "Man of the house" having trouble relinquishing control but once we got that problem resolved the process went like a machine over a couple of weekends. We didn't sell everything in the sales but once Kellie was done we had a very manageable project that we were able to complete ourselves. She was great at sourcing possible buyers for specialized items and for advising what to do about things we couldn't sell. Her followup and bookkeeping were also very professional. We participated a lot in the cleanup, pricing and staging of the sale but our situation was VERY different from the average Estate Sale and we were facing a looming deadline. I was totally pleased with the organization and outcome. The cost of the sale may be a bit low in my estimate. I can't remember the exact amount but they charged 25% of the total sales at the time (not sure what the terms are today). It was worth EVERY PENNY. We highly recommend Kellie's Estate Services!
Description of Work: Sorted out everything by category, value, extracting the garbage and "junk" from the good stuff. Staged everything according to category and value. Outdoor and "guy stuff" was staged outdoors under cover and in outdoor buildings, attended by an employee at all times. Indoor items were staged in rooms appropriate to their relevance. Market pricing was established using experience, market and our advise concerning items they weren't familiar with. Clear entries and exits were maintained to minimize shoplifting.
