John John is great to work with, very professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day and the job was completed on time. The job turned out beautiful and John John even installed a channel drain without charging me extra! I will definitely use him again.

Greatest experience my wife and I have had with a contractor. Clear estimate, showed up when he said he would, did the work, cleaned up after completion. Our new entrance looks super - John exceeded expectations. If we ever have any concrete work done in the future, we will use John John Concrete Construction.

I called John to get an estimate on building a new set of concrete steps in front of my house. He came out the next day and showed up exactly when he said he would and gave me a very fair price. We agreed on a date to do the work and John and a helper were there at 8:00 AM ready to go. They removed the old steps and rebuilt the new ones. They were fast, clean and very professional. Overall they did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend John's work and would use him again for any concrete project.

My expectations were surpassed. John John gave us patios and walkways that greatly enhanced the garden area with soft curves and an exposed aggregate surface that was a nice finishing touch. His attention to detail is evident in all he and his crew did. I am going to call him this week for an estimate on more work and have already given his number to friends and neighbors.

They were prompt, professional, craftsmen. Showed up for estimate with photos of previous work, business card, wrote estimate and explained everything and then they delivered as promised on the days promised. Great work. I would use them again if I had another driveway!

Received an estimate two days after calling. Able to schedule the work in a week. Work was excellent, completely promptly, and the price was reasonable. No charges over the estimate. Would definitely use again.

John is very good at his work. He offers good pricing and excellent service.

John was punctual and detailed with his estimate and expressed confidence that he could do the job. More importantly, he listened to me carefully and showed interest in my project, which sealed my decision to choose him for the job. John's was the middle bid in a field of 5 or 6, which ranged from $3500 to $6000. On the day that they started, John and his laborer broke and removed about 10 yards of old concrete with sledge hammers, pry bars, and a wheelbarrow. They worked very hard and were 90% finished with demo on the first day. I expected a Bobcat - at least a jack hammer - but these guys did it old school and quickly. After having the sewer line under the driveway replaced, John regraded and set forms and he has a good eye for what the finished product should look like. To my surprise, John and his two laborers poured and finished about 9 yards of concrete in under 5 hours. It looks great! I expected either fast or great, and I got both. Cautionary note to homeowners replacing city sidewalks: do your homework about permitting! For various reasons, I pulled my own permits online (I don't recommend this - unless you start weeks before ANY work is to be performed, including demo). The city (Seattle) was rather difficult to deal with, with almost no one to explain the steps involved. Fortunately, John was patient about this and everything worked out okay. But to expedite the process, you can ask your contractor to pull permits, and he or she will most likely have an easier time dealing with the city, especially if he has replaced city sidewalks before. The city requires specific finishes for sidewalks, and John did the work beautifully and to spec. We're very happy with the finished product, and will post pictures soon.

John is a true professional - knows his stuff and takes care of his customer. John was the most responsive in providing a bid for my requested work. His bid was fair and he finished the job in two days; much earlier than he had originally estimated. John was careful and cleaned up the work site after completing the job. I couldn't be more please with the quality, timeliness and professionalism of John and his crew. Highly recommended - John will be my first call when I need concrete work in the future.

After searching Angie's List for a contractor I called John John Concrete Construction. John stopped by that same afternoon to talk with me about my project. He was very helpful with suggestions and gave me an estimate for the work to be done. John started the demolition of my old back yard patio the next day. He very carefully removed my patio furniture and potted plants (and I have a lot of them!) before starting the project. We decided on an aggregate finish on the new patio (to match a small existing portion) and John did a beautiful job on it. It's obvious that he takes great pride in his work and the finished product shows that. John also restained and sealed a front walkway and patio for me. In addition, he asked if I would like to have him use a small amount of leftover concrete to pour a small pad for my recycle and waste bins! Great idea! To sum up--John is one of those individuals who goes "above and beyond" to do a great job for you. I would highly recommend him for your next project.

Sione did an outstanding job!!!!! He went above and beyond what I expected. Once I hired him I told him I was going to remove the rocks I had where the new cement was going in over the weekend and put them in my back yard. Unexpectly, Sione showed up and helped me remove the rock and spread it out in the back yard. He came back the day he said he would start and leveled the entire pad to be poured. He compacted it and placed his forms and rebar in less time than was anticipated. Sione also pointed out things and gave recommendations I didn't even think of. He pointing out where the cables and pipes leading up to the house were and gave recommendation for the pour that would keep them freed up. The finished product came out better than expected. It looks so much better than the neighbors cement work. The Neighbor used a different company. They wish they had used John John concrete.

John knocked on our door and asked if we were ready for a new driveway. As we had been thinking about this for a couple of years already we were indeed interested and requested his bid. It came in a lot lower than our previous 3 bids so we accepted his offer. Glad we did! He and his crew worked very hard and quickly finished a rather large job. As it was late in the season, he promised to come back in the spring when the weather improved enough to apply a preservative coating. He did, and we are very pleased with the result.

John did such a professional job replacing the cement steps in our back yard that we hired him again. He poured two cement retaining walls on a slope. Tore out rotted railroad ties, dug deep footings, and poured extra wide retaining walls. We were really impressed with the drainage system, sturdiness, and design of the project. The wall is built to last many years. John tackles each project with zest, assures estimate and completion time. We are planning on hiring him again in the near future. Again, we are totally pleased. We have never had such an honest and reputable contractor.

We hired John to replace nine wooden steps with poured cement steps in our back yard. He did an above and beyond excellent job and used the best materials. We are so pleased with the beautiful design, sturdiness and drainage of the stairs. John is a very likeable person with great work ethics (to include his assistant). He was meticulous in all aspects of the job. He showed up on time and each day put in a full days work. When done, he cleaned up the work area and left an enjoyable and functional piece of "art". His estimate was right on--and for the time and hard work--his price is more than reasonable--job completion was satisfied as promised. We are so happy with his work.

It went across the entryway and had a wooden railing around it. He is very professional and likeable. He is extremely meticulous in his work and made sure everything was just as we wanted it. He completely the job excellently.

The city decided our sidewalk was a danger and needed to be fixed. John had worked elsewhere in the neighborhood and came.. gave me a good estimate and had the work done in a flash. He dealt with the city for the permitting process and inspections etc and It was a breeze for me.
