I have circuits in my home that don't tolerate the load put on them. I thought I might have a problem with my service panel. Jeff scheduled an appointment to evaluate the situation and provide me with an estimate to address the problem. He showed up for the appointment on time. He said my service panel was fine but that I could have dedicated circuits installed to handle the heavier loads. He explained everything in terms I could understand. That seemed like a good solution and Jeff said he would e-mail me an estimate for the work. I was pretty impressed. It has been over a week and I have heard nothing from J-Tech. I assume that the job was not going to be worth the time. Unfortunately; had the job been a success, I am sure I would have had additional work since the house is nearly 40 years old.

I contacted Jeff Jones of J-Tech Electric on 8-29-2013 to provide a bid for removing and replacing the damaged power mast. He responded in less than a day with a quote which was very competitive when compared to other quotes I had received. I requested that he complete the work by 9-5-2013. Jeff completed the work one day early. He was professional, prompt personable and helpful in explaining exactly what needed to be done. In advance of the electrician, we had pulled the old hot water heater out to make room for the new tankless installation, so we were without hot water. The other electrical contractors we called couldn't fit us into their schedule for a couple of weeks. J-Tech said they could do it in a couple of days. That's exactly what they did. Everything went just the way we hoped it would. Quick, efficient, pleasant, and professional. The best electrical service we have ever had. He went out of his way to make sure everything was right including labeling an old breaker box and giving me a roll of electrical tape plus connectors to do the final range hookup myself (my request) since things were not yet ready for that step. Obviously, we will call J-Tech again if we need any electrical work done. Completely satisfied.

Their work was all right. They were friendly.

I called Jeff on a Monday and he was able to come out that afternoon to take a look at the job. I received 3 bids in all for this project and Jeff's bid was the lowest. I didn't just hire Jeff for his low bid, but he really explained to me what he needed to do in terms I understood since I know nothing about electrical work. I called Jeff Monday evening to set up the work and he was there Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone who needed an electrician, he was very easy to work with and got the job done in time for us to move in to the house on schedule.

Jeff's bid was a bit higher than the others but his bid was also more extensive than the others, adding more circuits and even making some small changes overlooked by the last electrician. We emailed back and forth with him answering questions as they came to mind and eventually I'd gotten the answers I wanted in order to continue. They finished up the work and a couple days later I noticed a new fixture wasn't operating correctly. I called Jeff at 8:00 a.m. and at 10:00 a.m. the same day he'd remedied the problem. It was a minor oversight that was easily fixed. The following day the electrical inspector came and the work passed with flying colors with the inspector commenting positively on Jeff's fastidious work. My only issue was when my handyman, Bob, came a couple days later to install the roof vent he told me the old fixture and associated hardware had been left in the attic and he brought them down for me. I'm certain Jeff forgot them because he is obviously a stickler for details.

I needed to replace an old Federal Pacific electric panel and install two additional 240v circuits and one 120v circuit in my garage. I got quotes from 3 contractors who came out to see the work to be done and 2 additional estimates from contractors who simply talked to me on the phone. All three contractors were professional and courteous and supplied a written quote. Jeff understood exactly what I wanted to have done and he gave me the best price. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time along with a helper, also named Jeff. They immediately began working and continued to the end of the day. Because I am going to do some other work in the room where my electrical panel was, I didn't want the drywall to be patched or taped. Jeff made cuts in the drywall to install the additional circuits but he kept the pieces and screwed them back in when done. I really appreciate the care and professionalism that he showed on the job. When they were done with the job they cleaned up, made sure all of the circuits were working properly and then showed me the work and where he had installed the new grounding rods. When the city permit inspector came out he ok'd the work done and even made the comment that the work done was very neatly done. I will definitely call Jeff again when I need electrical work.

I had a renter present me a letter telling them that the electrical service to my rental house was going to be cut off if I didn?t secure the meter base. Of course the renter didn?t get me the letter until there was only a few days left (before shut-off). In a panic I looked on Angie?s list and found good reviews of Jeff?s work. He took care of everything for me including coordinating with my renter, getting the permit, coordinating with the city to turn the power off and back on. While Jeff was out at the house, I also asked him to update the service panel. We did everything over the phone - I still haven?t personally met Jeff, but his work was excellent and price fair.

Half the lights were out in a garden house. Jeff troubleshot the system, determined the cause and fixed the problem in a very short period of time. It was not a circuit breaker but a major error in the orginal wiring system. Prompt on responding to my telephone call. I will use him again in a project I am doing this summer. It confims to me again that if you have someone that knows what they are doing, it goes very well.

I couldn t ask for anything better. He was quick, efficient, and prompt.
