We went in to confirm treatment we wanted and schedule a consultation and install. It's not possible to schedule install until after the consultation so we just did a consultation scheduling. We sat down with a staff member to start the process; she was not from that department so couldn't consult us on pricing, type, and styling, but could help with starting the data entry. Five minutes later, her counterpart from the department came back from break and helped us out in a much more info-filled way. After ten minutes of choosing options and scheduling, I noted the account information on the print out for the consultation appointment was outdated. So, I asked that the address, email, and phones be changed because I would not be the one home to let the consultant in the door. She said she'd updated the information but when the new print out came, nothing was updated, it was all the same. Is it me, or should that have been a pretty easy task for her to successfully assume? Frustrated when I saw it, we just took it to the register to pay the $50 non-refundable, but applicable toward total blind purchase, consultation fee. The next day, I got a call from the consultant company because the lady did not update the information properly. At work, I had to give him my girlfriend's number to set it up. The next week, on the day of the appointment, at work again, I received another call from the consultant because, again, the lady did not update the information properly (well, I shouldn't have received the second call if my girlfriend was at home ready instead of running about town, but still...). I later heard that the consultation went well and that we'd have it installed soon. Haven't received the flat $125 install yet ($99 at Lowe's - but HD had 20% off sale so it made sense to go with HD cause they had a better selection, even though Lowe's said they'd price match). They quoted two weeks from the consultation which is next week. If possible, I'll try to update this once it's completed.

I went to Home Depot to find some plants starts. I was looking for a perennial plant that was colorful but could grow in almost complete shade. I asked the nursery worker and she waved me over to a table of plants. None of them were what I was looking for. I asked her if she knew anything about the plants and she said, "not really" quit dismissively. I left immediately, dissatisfied. They do not have knowledgable employees working for them and they certainly don't seem to train them in their departments.

When I go into Home Depot, I have a hard time finding someone to help me. They are not very personable. Their variety is excellent, and their prices are good. It just isn't worth the effort, because I can't find anyone to help me. I wouldn't use them in the future, unless they had a really good sale and I knew what I wanted.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN THEIR FLOORING DEPARTMENT CHOOSING OUR CARPET AND FLOORING AND SCHEDULING THE MEASUREMENT GUYS TO COME OUT AND THE INSTALL TOOK PLACE SHORTLY AFTER OUR ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN. VERY GOOD JOB
