High Caliber Inspections Inc

As much as I hate to write this review. I feel it should be noted. I hired Marc as a first time home buyer via recommendation of my real estate agent. Having this inspection was very important to us and we where under the impression that it would deter us from buying a house with a ton of issues. We where unable to be at the inspection personally so all we got was a written inspection email. There was nothing major noted in this inspection and we felt confident that we where buying a solid home due to his report. And we paid a lot of money to be told if anything was wrong right? Unfortunately that is not the case, we have been in this house less than 6 months and there is major plumbing issues in the upstairs bathroom. Our heated floors went out the second month we where here. The washing machine, stove and dishwasher all broke down pretty much immediately. And shockingly there is so much more, that was immediately noticed by my husband and I upon move in and should have been noticed by him. This house is a total lemon and I feel bamboozled by not only him but the realtor we where working with. I would not recommend him and if you use his service be sure you are present.

Hired at the recommendation of our agent, seemed nice enough and to be as thorough as expected. After receiving the report, I was a little less-impressed than I had been with our previous inspector we hired for our first home purchase. His oral report at the property seemed reasonable and upon request to add additional items of concern to the printed report, Marc obliged. Therefore when I received the report with the requested items not noted, I initially thought it was a mistake. However, It has been nearly two weeks with no response from Marc regarding this issue and at this point it's an intentional slap in the face since he already has been paid, I suppose. Him accepting card payments on the spot includes a rather outrageous $12.00 "convenience fee" which was not made clear to me beforehand. I had assumed it was tax. Unfortunate problems for someone with such a high reputation, from our experience it doesn't seem well-earned.

He was very informative and very thorough. He covered all of his bases to provide a thorough report. He also did a walk through with me and explained everything he was doing and why things were the way they were.
