I needed a valve replaced on my 6-year-old hot water heater. Harts Services tried really hard to convince me to buy a new hot water heater instead of just fixing the valve -- they wanted to turn a $300 job into a $3000 one. Getting them to do the work they said they'd do was like pulling teeth. They inspected the plumbing under my house and found leaks but refused to fix just those pipes. They wanted to repipe the whole house instead, to the tune of ~$30k. They offer a maintenance inspection service which sounds great but now I know that if they found small issues they either wouldn't report the problem or would refuse to fix it. They advertise that their customer service is amazing but you'll have to argue with them. I hate to think of all the people they've hustled.

I want to reach out and let you know how extraordinary your employee Chris Looney is and has treated our home and family. We have been dealing with a water main leak for sometime. He responded promptly and got the job done, though extremely difficult. On the other hand, your company is highway robbery and charge a ridiculous amount of money to do work. I really hope you pay your employees well and take care of them because your customer service is garbage. If it wasn’t for Chris and his diligent work, I would be extremely unhappy with the work provided from Hart’s Services. Your responsiveness in the office should match the work that your boots on the ground are providing. I would have to call and get in touch with your office for them to inform me what time the technician would be out, although I was told every time that dispatch would reach out to me. Chris deserved a giant raise for making up for the slack provided by the rest of your team. I will be posting this review to yelp, Angi’s list and Google reviews. Your pricing is absolutely insane, I hope you don’t charge me the same as a little old lady with a plumbing issue. If so, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Christopher was on time and was very helpful to explan the filter changing process. We have a maintenance agreement and since we have gone over 3 calls per year > we have paid one service fee 42.00 and will need 1 or 2 more this year.

I pay $11.00 a month. This gives me priority access to Harts. They performed a full house inspection and are to provide a sewer/drain cleaning. Both free of charge. Also emptied my hot water heater. It gives me confidence to have Harts available for routine and emergency situations and peace of mind. Cannot pay for that!

Another plumbing company chipped our big Kohler sink while removing it. We wanted to use a different plumber to reinistall OUR sink after new counters. Jerry came out and quoted us $2,732, after a discount! We said, "No thanks" and he asked for the $39.95 consultation fee and left. Pure gouging. Because the work needed was simple, we figure he just didn't want to do the job with this huge cast iron sink.

Not only did they snake the line they took video and we were able to tell where in the lawn to dig and repair a broken pipe.

Went well! Worker was very friendly and personable. Fixed my issue then showed me how my issue could be fixed! Very happy with how everything went.

They are very expensive but they did a good job.

This is one of the most unethical companies I have ever encountered. To make a long story short, my next door neighbor needed a new sewer line and they unfortunately hired Hart's. To be a good neighbor, I allowed Hart's onto my property to dig a hole and install a sewer. Over the course of a month (should've been a 3 day project but they couldn't figure out how to use their boring machine), Hart's trashed my front yard, never asking permission before storing equipment and several tons of dirt on my property for weeks at a time, basically showing total disregard for my rights as a homeowner. When they replaced a slab of my concrete driveway after the job was completed, they did it all wrong, effectively ruining the look of my driveway. They didn't talk to me at all or ask for my input prior to wrecking my driveway. When I asked them to fix the damage, they refused, saying it was my fault for allowing them on my property in the first place. The owner of Hart's recommended I hire their concrete guy who wrecked my driveway to fix the damage he created. Yes, they asked me to pay them to fix the damage they created while they were wreaking havoc on my property for a month. Unbelievable! I'm still in shock that this company exists and is allowed to do business.

Hart staff were friendly and eager to serve us. They were able to do an estimate within 10 days of my urgent call about the massive break in our pipes outside...our water bill was $890, and going up every day. Staff were respectful of the house, floors and all Covid precautions. 1. When the initial walk-through was done for the estimate on Aug. 26, 2021, the crew coordinator said the wall cuts needed from under the house would be dry walled/patched by Hart. This turned out to be false. 2. We paid Friday’s first crew $10,000 by check, (because their policy is 50% payment required first day) and the crew supervisor said he would send a receipt later in the day by email, though I requested one on the spot. When the next crew arrived Monday asking for the first payment, the receipt had never come. Second crew was very embarrassed for insisting, and we were annoyed ( finally, their own bookkeeper informed them the check was not posted until Tuesday.) 3. The toilet they had to remove temporarily was not re-attached, so it rocked back and forth after they left. They returned a week later, but the caulking still smears with each wipe of a paper towel. 4. We were charged $600.00 for a city permit to start their project for us Aug. 27, which we paid. Hart said the city had to approve the closing of the 2 deep excavations in our yard, so we waited. We repeatedly asked Hart to clarify this safety problem, since we have a young boy in our home playing outside, and many kids on our street, not to mention being aged ourselves. After one month of the large driveway hole and debris, plus another huge hole next to the front door also remaining with pile of debris, the City of Lacey passed by and stopped to ask us what was happening. They phoned in to their City offices,finding there was NO permit ever filed, nor NEEDED. When I notified Hart of this, our $600 was refunded and their crew came to close up their excavation site Sept. 22, nearly one month after they first opened the driveway and porch area. This was 3 weeks after they completed the plumbing job.

Very well. Hart's technicians fixed a problem caused by another plumbing company. Very satisfied with their work and continue to have them on my speed dial.

He had no personality. Also, charge was way too much for the small job.

We are retire, in our mid 70's and had to replace the our hot water heater, so I purchased one and brought it home. I drained and remove the old one and hauled away. We put the new one in place on its elevated position. We decided to have a professional to hook it up so, we called harts. They came and attached water lines and the event stack. For what amounted to maybe 1 hours work we were charged more than $600.00 Dollars. We felt totally ripped off and will never use Hart'less again

Great! The Technician did an amazing Job! We will definitely be contacting Harts services again, if needed.

The tech spec decided he could not unclog the sink and informed me that the pipes needed replacing at a price in excess of 5k. Harts charged me 285.00 for that piece of advice. They left the drains clogged and I had to contact Conan the Drain man to come in and unclog the sink for 125.00.

Liked the men but not the results, especially because I still have the original problem. I think the should have just cleaned the drains.

I did not hire them to do the work as their estimate was approximately 4 times that of the small private contractor I did hire. I have absolutely no doubt that had I hired Harts, they would have done a good job. I just don't want to spend that much more for the same repair.

First day, he could not get in due to snow, but wanted an extra $200 to walk 40 ft if I wanted the work done, next day he came and after snaking the drain, the bill was very high, around $400 for a simple task.
