Our fence was falling down and we needed help. I put the word out and we had a few people give us estimates. As soon as we had a company called GCL Construction give us a quote, we knew this was the company to go with. The contractor, Jose listened to what I was asking for and began to outline his plan for the project. He asked several questions to be clear he was meeting our needs. It is rare to have a contractor that seemed to be as detail oriented. After a lengthy meeting, my decision was to trust this company and what a great move that was. The fence is everything I asked for. Jose and his team were very professional and kept on schedule. We dealt with Sandra, the owner who gave us clear and friendly instructions on timelines and expectations. We added several more projects they have completed and have more things planned for the future. I would highly recommend this company if you're looking for someone that will go to any length to see to your every need.

I am a local elected official with a reputation for integrity, and I can confidently say this 1000% happened on Friday, January 24, 2025. Zero stars. This company is extremely shady. Jose, the co-owner, came out to repair some ceiling drywall but then claimed that a recently replaced pipe had broken as he was doing the drywall. This was an outright lie?he couldn?t even keep a straight face while trying to justify charging me more money to fix an issue he caused! Stay away from this company. They may be more ?affordable? but it will cost you more when they claim there are other issues! His wife the ?CEO? will probably come on this review and try to explain things always?but don?t buy it for a second. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. They were awesome! Our fence fell down after harsh winds and we looked on HomeAdvisor to search for someone to repair our fence and within minutes of submitting a request, they reached out to us! They were excellent communicators and Jose was very professional and explained the project to us in great detail. He did an awesome job! We would hire GCL Construction again for our future projects!

GCL did an excellent job installing drywall, Tape, mud, and texturing our bathroom and laundry room as well as repairing a spot in our dining room. This is the second time Iâ ve used this company and will continue to refer them to friends and family. Their pricing is competitive, communication is excellent, they show up when they say they will and work efficiently, and the quality is top notch. Definitely reccomend!

We hired GCL Construction for a basement remodel which included converting 2 areas into bedrooms, replacing windows, laying floors (carpet & linoleum), recarpeting stairs, building new walls, adding drywall to walls, painting both bedrooms and the full family room in the basement and changing the entry to a new area for the storage room. GCL Construction did a great job and the project turned out even better than we imagined. The communication with Jose and Sandra was really great, they kept us informed on everything right away. Jose and his crew were fast and did an amazing job!! We are so glad that we chose GCL for this project. We highly recommend them for anyone needing a remodel.

Hired them and within 2 days my fence was repaired. Workers were very easy to have around. Jose kept me informed of what was happening.

My bathroom had been damaged and I needed some efficient repairs. Jose was awesome and was very eager to work and you can tell he enjoys doing what he does. Was on time, was consistent, and was very fast and efficient. I definitely would want him to work on my home in the future.

I was referred to GCL by a friend who is knowledgeable about residential wall repair. I recently had a conversion of knob & tube wiring to present code standards. This required 118 holes of various dimensions in my lathe and plaster home. This was not going to be an easy task. However, GCL expertly made those unsightly blemishes disappear. I was so impressed with their work, I asked them to paint five rooms of my home. GCL painted as well as they handled lathe and plaster. The ultimate result was stunning! Their craftsmanship in repairing my home was superb. GCL also has other admirable attributes which are worthy of note. Promptness, good communication, and a spotless worksite upon completion of the project. In addition, their bids/charges are more than reasonable. 10/10 highly recommend! GCL Construction takes pride in their work and the passion behind what they do is palpable! Everything was done above satisfaction level! The first company that came in for my unexpected issue wanted to charge me triple and misdiagnosed the issue. In my case, there was a series of things that occurred that was completely out anyoneâ s control and required more work than originally thought. The GCL team kept me in the loop the whole time and everything was up for discussion at every bump and blip in the road. I will be hiring them again for additional projects!

Sondra and her team at GCL were quickly responsive to my need. They communicated clearly and scheduled my project fast and within my availability. Jose came out to do the project and was very thorough but not pushy. They did amazing work and kept me updated every step of the way.

We wanted a section of our yard fenced in. Sandra was very pleasant and attentive on the phone. Jose was able to come out that day to look at what we wanted done. He gave me a good quote and estimate of time. I felt very comfortable with it so agreed. The work was completed ahead of schedule and we are very satisfied with the quality. Jose worked hard and Iâ m impressed. Even with all that, he still found time to do small finishing touches that we had not expected. Weâ re already starting to think about our Spring projects and we will call GCL.

Both Sandra and Jose are very easy to work with. They keep you well informed as to any changes that may need to be discussed. Jose is a true craftsman when it come to drywall. Sandra is an excellent project manager. Very detailed. The work that was completed was on time as promised, came in at agreed upon price as well. Oh and did I mention Jose cleans up after himself! All in all very impressed by this company. Would recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

The project was top notch. Not only dis they consistently show up on time, but they finish the project early and willing to reschedule the final walk through multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!

Sandra did an amazing job trying to make this house repair project as easy as possible fighting the insurance on my behalf on pieces of the work she wasn't going to be getting paid for

GCL Construction was recommended to us by the roofing company who repaired a leak in our roof. GCL did the living room water and drywall damage repair resulting from the roof leak. Sandra, Jose, and his assistant went above and beyond in getting the job completed; from the first visit to our home to view and evaluate he repair project all the way to its completion which involved removal of damaged drywall, removal of water soaked attic insulation, dehumidifier rental of the damaged area for 48 hours, followed by installation of new insulation, new drywall....taping, texturing, etc. They were very respectful of our home, taking great care to protect the carpet and living room furniture. Throughout the entire repair process Sandra and Jose kept us informed via the phone and emails regarding the numerous steps. They provided us with detailed hard copy documentation and explanations. In addition to their patience in working with us, senior adults, ages 79 and 81, they demonstrated patience and professionalism as we both dealt with the homeowners insurance claim. We are believers in supporting local, small businesses who have a hard work ethic. GCL Construction was very sensitive and respectful to us as aging adults on a limited income. During this very stressful time it was a pleasure to do business with Sandra and her team!

We hired this company site unseen thru Angi. My wife contacted Jose via phone and made arrangements to have a hole repaired for a prearranged price. The work was of the utmost quality; professionally done; arrived at the time they said they would arrive and completed their work and left absolutely no clean up for us to take care of after the project was finished. Would recommend them to anyone and would hire them back in a heartbeat!!!

They arrived on time, worked fast and cleaned up before they left.
