Our experiences with Forever Granite have been mixed. While the sales personnel were friendly and helpful, our main problems were with communication, scheduling and workmanship. Forever Granite initiated virtually no communications with us after the sale. Each time something was to be done, we had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages just to get appointment times or to have our questions answered. They took no steps to keep us informed of the status of our order, the ETA?s of the crews if they were running behind, or to resolve our scheduling problems. Instead, we were forced to call time and time again to obtain any information. Our written requests to the owner to discuss our experiences have also gone unanswered. Scheduling also proved to be a problem. Twice we were forced to change appointment times to accommodate the company because they forgot us or left us off the schedule. Finally, the installers arrived late on a Thursday for final installation and were unable to complete the installation because they arrived so late. Their installers do not work on Fridays, so we had to wait three extra days for them to finish the installation. The installation, when it was complete, was not as expertly done as I had hoped. The backsplashes and the counter slabs are uneven at the joints, and some of the inside corners are missing the edge detail we ordered. In addition, one of the seams separated nineteen days after installation and had to be repaired. In summary, we had a good sales experience and we felt the price was fair. However, the customer service, responsiveness and the quality of the workmanship at installation left something to be desired.
Description of Work: Installed new granite countertops and backsplash, undermount sink, in existing kitchen cabinets as part of a remodel. Worked with a finished carpenter to level the existing cabinets prior to installing the granite countertops.

The workmanship was terrible. There was large chips in the work (I have pictures I can send to anyone who would like them). The returns on the ends of the counters were not done at all. The cuts were incorrect. The work was not done to the agreed drawings. They were supposed to put in an eyebrow countertop - the edge looked as if it was an attempt at a straight line, but a miss. Terrible workmanship. The lamination was terribly done. Laszlo and another man came to the house to listen to our complaints. Laszlo yelled at me and my daughter about us paying the balance for the work that they did. We asked them to replace the countertops as we saw no possible way for it to be repaired. Currently, they are being sued by two other people. Description of Work: Forever Granite was hired to put in 6 countertops in our kitchen and laundry room. We went to Seattle and picked out a slab that we agreed on and we paid for the slab at that time. They said that they had time in December to put in the counters. They failed to show up on time as promised, saying that they were completely booked, even though they had promised us a day in December to complete the work. Then, they "re-booked" for February. The day before they actually came, even though they were not scheduled, they called and announced that they "HAD" to come on the next day. I asked them not to come because I was going to be out of town and they were not scheduled.
