+ -1 moreThe gentlemen were friendly and honest. They told me, I only have about 2 hours of work to be done to finish up the grouting job my husband had started. They recommended that I just finish up the project myself because it would cost me at least $350 for them to do it. We are about to start another remodeling project in our new home, I will be calling them again when it comes time to have the tile work done.
Description of Work: I called in the morning to get an estimate on having the grouting finished on our kitchen back splash that my husband had started. It just happened that they were up the street working on a job. On their lunch break, they popped in and took a look at the potential job.

+ 2 moreThe existing carpet was torn out and removed and then hardiebacker was installed prior to tiling and grouting. A granite countertop in another bathroom was installed. The workmanship was excellent and Lesli and crew were awesome. The $2,700 was what we paid Fine Line Tile and Stone and did not include the faucets, tile, and plumber needed to remove and reset the tub. We would use Lesli again and would highly recommend her services.
Description of Work: Lesli tiled our master bathroom floor, tub deck and tub and vanity backsplash.

+ -1 moreLeslie and her assistant, Anthony are friendly people and hard workers. They do professional work and clean up well after they finish. Leslie's prices are fair and competitive. Sometimes they could not come out as previously scheduled because of other jobs they were involved in so the work took a few weeks longer than expected- that was my only disappointment. In the end, I was very pleased with the work completed and would hire Fine Tile again.
Description of Work: Hallway and bathroom floors tiled.

+ -1 moreThe overall experience was very positive, so much so that my husband and I will call Leslie when we remodle our kitchen. I won't even go out for other bids because I know her price is very competitive and our experience always positive.
Description of Work: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Leslie @ Fine Line Tile. We have used Leslie in 2 separate remodles and will use her again when I upgrade my kitchen. In 2008 we remoded our condo and Leslie did all tile work for us in our kitchen/eating area floor, laundry room floor, and tub and shower sourrounds in both our guest and master baths. This work included both floor tile, glass back splash in kitchen and bath surround, granite counter tops in the laundry and bathroom. Leslie is great to work with, very responsive, and was very helpful in picking out tile. In 2010, we sold our condo and bought a home that needed extensive upgrades. Leslie helped me design a custom shower for our master bath, and it is georgous. She built the shower pan, tiled the entire shower, the work also included a tile floor. We also took down a wall between our great room and family room and put in a see through gas fireplace. Leslie poured a cement floor for us in that area and after the wall was complete and the fireplace inserted she tiled the fireplace surround. We love it and we love her!

Description of Work: We were very pleased with this company. They were a subcontractor to Kitchen Desgin, Lacey, Wa. We purched Cambria counter tops. They came out and did conputer measurments. 10 days later installed the counter tops which fit perfectly. Everything was very professional and fast. + 1 moreThey were really quick and efficient. I can't say enough good things about them. What I love about them is that they charge by the square foot, not by the slab. In that way, we didn't have extra granite that we didn't need and we got the best price.
Description of Work: Changed our tile countertops in our kitchen to Granite Slab. They were really knowledgeable and expert at cutting the required holes for the stove top and sink. I have complete confidence in them and would recommend them to anyone replacing their existing countertops. We are going to have them put granite in our master bath at a later date. They were on time for both the measuring and the install.. Their office follows up to make sure that everything goes smoothly. They provided someone to attach the sink and plumbing at a nominal price, $75, and we're very pleased with the work.

+ -1 moreLesli was very flexible, letting us use our own tile and even picking up the underlayment we had purchased elsewhere. She was very professional and the work was done on time and on budget. Her estimate was by far the most detailed, with everything itemized, and there were no hidden surprises. She wasn't the cheapest, but was comparable to others. We would definitely use Fineline Tile and Stone again.

Description of Work: Full bathroom (up to ceiling height) floor/wall travertine tile in custom cut 9" brick lay with bull nose at all corners and windows/sills wrapped. Mud set shower pan with custom shower seat. Later had her back to install the backsplash in the kitchen with brick lay/bull nose ceramic tile and recycled glass tiles. Both turned out very well, and inspire compliments from tradesmen and laymen alike. Of note, other bids for this same labor were coming in around this amount or more on what we paid. The bathroom was a large job.

Communication about setting up the job, arrival and work schedules and completion was timely and very reliable. Leslie and Jason were excellent to work with and easy to have in our home. We would hire them again for other projects.
Description of Work: Granite tile was installed on kitchen counter tops and fireplace hearth and face. Bathroom counter edges were upgraded with marble edges.

+ -1 moreWe found the company in this list, and other members feed back looked good. So we decided give Lesli a call for our bathroom project. She sounded good when we first called her to give us an estimate. We couldn't schedule an appointment that day as we were planning on a vacation, but told her we would call her back after we returned. So we called her and tried to set up an appointment. She said she didn't have her calendar at that time and told us to call her back next day. So we called her next day, but she didn't answer the phone. We called her a few days later. She said she was driving and told me to call her back in 10 minutes, so she could stop and check the calendar. We did, but she didn't answer the phone. In fact we kept calling her several times that day, but she never answered the phone. Eventually we finally got hold of her and she came to our house to check. She said she would call us next day, but never did. We left a message to call us back, but no response.
Description of Work: We had planned our bathroom remodeling and found FINELINE TILE & STONE in Angie's List. We tried to get hold of Lesli for an estimate, but she never returned our call. Maybe she wasn't interested in a small job.

+ -1 moreLesli is very responsive. She returned calls promptly. She suggested places for us to look at travertine. We went to a place and picked it out and she checked on the price and she said, she thought we could reduce the materials cost, if we looked elsewhere. She was right. She arrived on time, despite snow. She was calm when we had an unexpected plumbing problem, from one of the toilets.
Description of Work: Lesli installed tumbled travertine in our two upstairs bathrooms. She picked up the materials, after we selected them. Removed two toilets, the old vinyl floor and the subfloor and she applied grout. She also, picked up the proper cleaning supplies and told me how to seal it myself, in order to save money.
