Description of Work: Angie's List system said that the service company will contact me within 2 business days. As of today (8/25) the company has not contacted me either via phone call, email or via Angie list messaging tool. I've lost interest and faith in this company and wish not to use their service. The date that I've provided in the "Approximate service date" field is the date that I've purchase the service.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal of "FATHER NATURE LANDSCAPES" Coupon Code "Landscape-1407435-1". I would like to get a refund as they keep canceling the appointment which I setup with them since early August. First we got it setup on 8/5. Then a day before they canceled it. Then I scheduled on 8/19 and they canceled it on the same day.

Description of Work: Father Nature ompleted the landscaping of our front yard by filling in and shaping with the use of grasses, shrubs, and trees. We were 100% satisfied--actually we loved it. We live in a neighborhood where people are often out walking and we (actually Father Nature's) got many enthusiastic comments on the work that was done. | |We would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in professional and highly eye-pleasing landscaping. The owner, Cameron, is very personable and also highly professional and knowledgeable. We are planning on having them do the same kind of work in our backyard which will be a much bigger job. We have total confidence it will look as nice as the front yard and are anxiously looking forward to having the work completed so we can enjoy the back the way we have the front. Many thumbs up!!

Description of Work: This was for a Big Deal for landscaping consultation/design. I felt like the meeting was like any old landscaping estimate, just with someone much more professional. The estimate I received for the design I desired was extremely expensive. I will not be going with this company.

Description of Work: I'm trying to get someone to come out and repair a rock wall after some fool ran into it with their car. Most landscapers have said "Sure I'll come out and take a look an ." and...inevitably...no one shows up or calls back. The folks at Father Nature were courteous on the phone and were quick to let me know that they wouldn't be able to work on the rock wall until August. I appreciated the honesty and based on other customer comments and reviews would be happy to use their services in the future.

Description of Work: Chris's crew installed a paver patio approx 240 sq ft and built wooden steps. They showed up on time, and were professional every step of the process. I'd definitely use them again for future projects and recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for a landscape design. I had moved into a new construction house with a minimally landscaped backyard. Chris came out, walked around to take measurements, and listened to my awkward description of what I wanted in a back yard. He later emailed me a landscape design that incorporated plant and tree suggestions, lighting, a pondless waterfall, and some additional pavers. Unfortunately, His bid of $8000+ was more than I was able to afford to do the work, but I've been able to use his plan to slowly make progress at personalizing my yard. His design was an excellent value.

Description of Work: We bought a home that has been vacant for a year or more. The landscaped areas of the yard were very overgrown, weeds and ivy out of control. Our initial goal was to just get the yard cleaned up to see what we had to work with, then work with the landscaping firm to develop a new design. It's a busy time of the year for landscapers, and Father Nature wasn't able to get back to us as quickly as some others. By the time we spoke with them we had already made arrangements for another company to do the initial clean up. They do not offer landscape design or implementation services, however, so we made arrangements to meet with Father Nature after the clean up was done to begin long-term planning. After the clean up was complete we discovered a layout we never would have guessed was there. We still want to make changes, but have decided other items will take priority to landscaping this year. Chris at Father Nature was very professional in all of our dealings, and extremely courteous when we told him of our change in plans. We fully intend to address landscaping next year and will definitely be using Father Nature when we do.

Description of Work: They came out on the scheduled date and time. We discussed ideas etc. they then took measurements & photos and followed up with a comprehensive plan on planting beds, proper plants and an overall layout of what could be expected. I then recd their quote with details plans, drawings etc. unfortunately I have not proceeded with any work.

Description of Work: The company performed basic yard cleanup with the addition of pruning a large shrub and sculpting a few trees. They were clean, efficient and on time. I thought the shaping of the trees could have been better but it still looker a lot better than before.

Description of Work: We had Father Nature's come out to give us a quote and advise on the design we wanted. Cameron was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not rush the site visit or quote and even came back with his cement guys to make sure he had more accurate measurements. He had great ideas and always had a solution. At this point, we have only received a quote. No services have been completed. We will definitely be calling Father Nature when we are ready!

Description of Work: I had a rather large retaining wall built with rock approx 3 years ago and had sections collapse three times. Two times the original contractor returned and rebuilt the wall but after the 3rd collapse this spring, we decided that there had to be a better solution and I decided to try Angie's List and found Father Natures Landscaping and Chris Sheer. Chris presented a detailed proposal followed by a professional contract outlining clearly the project and cost. He was prompt as promised and he and his crew were on the job on the day and time promised. His foreman was on site until the job was completed The job was completed a day early and it is beautifully constructed and the site was left clean. The crew worked hard to preserve the new fence above the retaining wall,drainage and design, and workmanship, make me believe that although doing the job twice was costly - doing it right is always best. I could not be happier with my retaining wall and would recommend Chris and his . crew for any landscaping job that needs to be done efficently and correctly. Nan Bohanan
