Excellent! Paul is the best.

Very professional work! he called to say he would be delayed by an hour, but actually got there sooner. He was not scared off by the 100 year old spider infested crawl space. Price$450, plus a $50 inspection, after another electrician estimated $8000. Efficiency? He held the phone with his left hand to order a thermostat, while continuing to work with the screwdriver in his right! He rates "A" in all categories, and we will certainly call him again.

Paul was very professional, and advised us on what fixtures to purchase and use. There was minimal damage to the lath-and-plaster when the old outlets and switches were removed. The work done was high quality. He was very flexible working around other contractors, and I would definitely recommend Dependable Electric LLC to anyone else.

It went very well. He arrived on time. He had all the parts we needed. The only comment is that we felt he could have worked a little faster.

The provider arrived, listened to our description of the problem, checked the breaker box to confirm the problem was not with it. He stated this problem is not unusual in houses our age (built in 1969). He went to an outlet in the front hall closest to the garage where the breaker box is located and immediately found the a problem that when repaired caused all the other areas further down the line to also work. He was polite, business-like and competent. I would definitely recommend Dependable Electric LLC to friends.

I found Dependable Electric to be an exceptional electrical contractor to work with on my home electrical wiring job, a backyard hot-tub installation. Paul is the owner and operator of Dependable Electric. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. I found his pricing on this job to be 10-20 percent below his competition. I appreciated that he was very thoughtful and careful in prepaing a detailed estimate, and he planned the job carefully before arriving at my home. The quality of his work is outstanding. He stands behind the job 100% because this is his company and his reputation. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns. We exchanged numerous text messages and phone calls throughout the process from estimate, to planning, and even after the job was completed, and he was always quick to respond day or night. He arrived to the work-site at exactly the agreed to time(s). The only reason I didn't give him an A for punctuality is that there was a bit of a wait to get onto his calendar - since he is a one-man show. The job itself took maybe a couple hours longer than expected, but he stayed on site until completion which was close to 8PM. A long day for us both, but I was thrilled with the overall job. It looks great, works great, and passed inspection on the first go. I would definitely use him again for small to medium sized home electrical jobs.

I just want to commend Paul for doing a great job and being upfront about the pricing of each job and there were no surprises with his estimates. Very professional and meticolous in his job. I can't mention enough the appreciation I have for his professionalism and the commitment he had to resolve the issue. We had previously hired another company and the person did come out, but was either incapable or unwilling to keep looking for the problem. He recommended that we call another electrician. I'm actually glad that he did. Paul came out promptly as scheduled. He was very polite and got to work right away. He was very thorough and through a process of elimination had a hunch as to the problem. It wasn't heat wave weather, but it was hot for Washington. The attic must have been over 100 degrees. He went straight up and kept searching until he found the problem, which was a tiny burned out piece of a thing. We were lucky it hadn't started a fire. I don't usually critique work, but his service really stood out. He truly went above and beyond. That type of customer service is rare; I'm just glad that I was a recipient.

I replaced my GFCI plug after the old one would not reset but the new one still wouldn't work so I called Paul at Dependable Electric this morning and explained my GFCI problem. Since I had to go to work between 10am and 2pm and he said he would give me a call after 2:00 and would try to come out today. He called about 2:15pm and arrived 1/2 hour later. He began working on trying to find out why the GFCI plug wasn't working and discovered some wiring problems. He started looking at other outlets and finally found the culprit ... one of the outlets in the living room was worn out and caused the issues. Paul replaced two outlets in the living room and rewired the GFCI wiring and reconnected the GFCI plug and everything worked! The job took two hours and he was working hard the entire time. I found Paul to be extremely professional, very personable and it was an overall pleasure doing business with him. I plan to have him come back and install new lights in my kitchen and add a couple of outlets downstairs. I highly recommend Paul for any electrical work you may need!

Paul was very professional. We hired him to move the breaker panel in the basement of an older house that we were getting ready to sell. At the time, we were having a new concrete wall poured, so he had to coordinate with the other contractors. He did excellent work and was upfront with all charges with all things itemized in detail. He came to work at the times we expected him (unlike the other contractors), and he did high quality work.

We called Paul on a Friday for an estimate and he happened to be in the area, so he arrived at our house within 30 minutes. Paul took the time to explain in detail what the problem was and how he would remedy it. We received a detailed, affordable estimate the next morning. Paul was at our house the following Monday morning to do the job. He arrived on time. The job, from start to finish was done exceptionally well. The job required Paul to crawl under our house to reach the wiring. The crawl space was dark and wet and required Paul to crawl on his belly to reach the wires. Plastic sheeting was put on our kitchen floor so not a drop of mud or dirt was found on our hardwood floor. Any questions we had were always answered patiently and respectfully. The 20 amp circuit was installed within hours. We are very happy with the job completed by "Dependable Electric." Our new circuit works perfectly. It was completed for less than the estimate. Paul Spinosa, the owner of "Dependable Electric," would be our recommendation to anyone needing electrical assistance. We did not ask for a Angieslist discount, but Paul very graciously applied one to our bill. Thanks, Paul.

Paul was great. He understood the issues and was very polite and professional. Paul fixed the problems with the light switch and the electrical problems in the rest of the house putting the light switch back together correctly and offering assurances that all would be well. It was and it is. He not only came the same day as I first contacted him but showed up ahead of time and got right to work. He is very professional, well spoken and courteous. It was a great first experience with Angie's List and with Paul.

He was on time and very professional. On the initial calculation of my bill, he forgot to give me the Angie's List discount, but came back and gave me a refund. That demonstration of honesty was refreshing and a reinforcement to use this provider again and to recommend him to others.

I initially hired Paul only to remove the electrical wires that were left in the walls that were removed. Once he arrived I had forgotten about the door bell ringer which he said wouldn't be a problem. I later added in several items that I should have told him about initially (moving a light fixture, adding an electrical box, moving an electrical box etc) but it wasn't an issue for him to do these extra things. He even identified a mistake that another electrician had made after we first bought the house and fixed that for us as well (no doubt saving us the cost on something we'd have to fix when we sold the house). All told Paul was able to do the initial job I hired him for and half a dozen other things for us all within the very tight timeframe we had allotted for this job and at a lower cost than I was given by other companies I contacted. Paul was very professional with both his quality of work and communication. When you're dealing with electrical work it's imperative that you have a good electrician - Paul was great. Thanks again Paul it's nice knowing that I won't have to ever try and figure out which electrician to hire - I'll always just call you.

Paul Spinosa was prompt, professional and did an excellent job for us at the last minute. He laid down protection for our new floors and worked quickly. I am very pleased and grateful for his fast service. I will certainly call him again when we need service and have already recommended him.

I am a radiant heating contractor and needed a City of Seattle licensed electrician to wire a small radiant system for me. Dependable Electric was referred to me by another Angie's List contractor who said he did good work. I called Paul on Tuesday the 16th of July asking if he had time to do a small job I needed done on Friday the 19th of July in Seattle. He was able to fit it into his busy schedule and showed up right on time. After discussing the job requirements with me he went to work. He did an awsome job completing the task quickly. Inspector said it was picture perfect.

All work was performed with an electrical permit and completely to code. Paul obtained the permit and arranged for the inspection after the work was completed. When he first came out he looked carefully for the most effective and least invasive way to accomplish the task and explained the various requirements to me in a clear and very friendly way. I observed the work. Paul was very professional and meticulous throughout the process. He was tidy in his preparation, covering floors and furniture with plastic sheeting. He used a shop vac simultaneously while cutting to minimize dust. His tools were clean and well-organized. He worked hard and efficiently, rarely taking breaks, and was cheerful and optimistic when he encountered the occasional "challenges" that occur in this type of job. I know enough about wiring to confirm that his work was very carefully done both at the outlet boxes and at the breaker panel. There were no surprises at billing time, either. No attempts to claim additional charges over the estimate. Most striking to me is how friendly and trustworthy Paul seems to be. I thoroughly enjoyed having him in my home and never felt in the least bit uncomfortable about how he was doing his work.

Mr. Spinosa (the electrician), came to my house and thoroughly checked all areas I had concern over. He was very reasonable, professional, and careful. Shortly after estimates were given he was able to start with the extensive work. He was always on time, never late. He first completed the change of the panel. With that, he kept the working area protected and clean. He laid down plastic to protect my hardwood floors and always cleaned up as he worked. Then he installed several outlets. During this time too he worked on getting my main power up to code. He detached the main wires from the house, removed and replaced the old wiring and fabricated a new mast and reset it to code. This was done efficiently and professionally. I could not ask for anyone better. Mr. Spinosa was always professional and kind. He is very knowledgeable. Any questions I had he answered and explained everything that he was doing. It was one of the best experience for my first time using a contractor. I would hire him again.

Super satisfy with overall. Paul gets to work right away & work very fast (so much so he bump his head couple times) Very flexible as I pre cut some rock sheet to accommodate new wall heater, Paul just motor along. Super knowledge. Great follow up. Provide suggestion to install option to my next garage project.
