Marcel came and did a thorough inspection, provided pictures and explained the process. His bid was definitely lower then
the other companies . Plus, I appreciated his "extra service" to go above and beyond which were the pictures. The other companies did not provide that service.

We contacted three highly rated companies, and their bid was the most comprehensive, most informative, while still being price competitive. This was the second company I had come for an estimate. The first company had an estimator that went into the crawl space with the light from his cell phone, looked around from the doorway, and went and wrote a quote. Used the sq footage from zillow. Pressured me to book right then and said if I waited even a day, they might not be able to get to me in time. (July 14 estimate for a request completion date of July 29)
Crawl Space Cleaning Pros came the same day and the estimator suited up and spent 20 minutes down there. Measured himself and spent time explaining other things he noticed while in the crawl space. Price was $225 less.
Every interaction with the office was great. The technician arrived on time and did a fantastic job as well as showing me things he found under the house. Cleaned up outside very nicely and instead of using foam spray on areas he found small holes, he used cement. Nice job!

The experience went very well. The person was on time, very professional, and answered all of my questions. He was very thorough and explained step by step as he went through the process. The house was better sealed than i thought it would be but he did identify a couple of bathroom fans that are undersized. I will now be replacing those fans. Otherwise i am very satisfied, would not hesitate to engage this company again and recommend to others who may be interested in energy efficiency of house.

They did a great job! The salesman was polite and thorough, gave us all the details about what he found in our attic and crawl space. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and finished the job on time and on budget! Our home is just over 1,400 square feet. Their bid was great compared to other companies. They showed us what they did and explained everything after they were finished.

CSCP was the third company I called from those top rated on Angie's List. I had already pretty much decided to go with the second bidder after being somewhat disappointed by the top rated company who had come by first. Joseph, the third rep from CSCP, arrived on-time for his appointment on Thursday 4/16/15. He immediately impressed us by quickly changing into protective coveralls and diving under our house. He appeared 15 or 20 minutes later with photos and a report that was much more thorough than the two previous bidders. While listening we were sure his charges would exceed the previous two bidders and we were shocked when he was $100 less while including more services. It sounded too good to be true, but we decided we would trust our feelings and offered to sign a contract. Before Joseph would allow us to sign, he proceeded to launch into a discussion of energy usage and waste in our home and (in conjunction with PSE) provided us with 20 LED light bulbs. We then signed the contract and asked for the CSCP crew to come on 4/20/15. On Friday afternoon, Nicole from CSCP called and said their team would arrive between 8:00 and 9:30 on 4/20/15.
Tuesday at 8:00AM a team of three employees from CSCP arrived and immediately went to work. Although I did not watch the workers every moment, it was obvious they worked without stopping and apparently completed all aspects of the contract and doing excellent work. The only negative aspect of the entire job was that during their clean-up, the crew were just a tyiny bit messier than they should have been. Joseph and the office staff a CSCP have been excellent in responding to my comments about this unfortunate but again very minor aspect of the entire performance of the contract.
Since completion of the work I have already recommended CSCP to three neighbors who also have Norway rats in their crawl spaces (our neighborhood is within a tenth of a mile of a State Park and we have more than our fair share of wildlife).

It not only looked clean, it smelled clean, the floors feel warmer with the new/better grade insulation. They worked very fast and were very polite. They met discounts other bids offered and gave the best price as well. To top it off, they sent a thank you card too.

Overall, the project went well from start to finish. This is one of those projects you hope do not have to do often.
CSCP estimator Marcel did the evaluation and project bid. Marcel did a thorough assessment of my crawl space and provided good feedback and recommendations. When I had follow up questions he responded to my email inquiries in a timely manner. The experience with Marcel definitely factored in my decision besides price.
I received total of 3 estimates. The others estimators used more high pressure tactics. I noticed the other estimators were not in the crawl space doing the evaluation for very long compared to CSCP. CSCP price was competitive. Angie list discount was generous!
The CSCP crew came out to do the work two weeks later. They were professional, worked hard and did a good job. They got it done in one day. It's very difficult work to operate in a tight area. It's good to clear out all the old insulation as well as the left over rodent activity plus re-seal areas and new vapor barrier.
Lastly CSCP office staff were friendly and responsive on the phone.
It is good to finally do the project. Check off my to do list.

It went well. This was a project that I had been putting off for a long time. The crawlspace was in bad shape and with tight access. I got four estimates total. The CSCP estimator did a thorough checkout of the crawlspace. I put coveralls and dust mask on myself and followed him around a little bit also. It was a competitively priced estimate. No pressure.
The crew came to do the job the following week. They were professional, worked hard and did a good job. They got it done in one day. I could feel the difference in the house that night! With the clean out, new vapor barrier, re-insulation, wrapping and sealing the ducting and sealing the floor penetrations it was noticeably warmer and I didn't have the old crawlspace smell in the house. It was worth it.
