Overall, the project went well from start to finish. This is one of those projects you hope do not have to do often. CSCP estimator Marcel did the evaluation and project bid. Marcel did a thorough assessment of my crawl space and provided good feedback and recommendations. When I had follow up questions he responded to my email inquiries in a timely manner. The experience with Marcel definitely factored in my decision besides price. I received total of 3 estimates. The others estimators used more high pressure tactics. I noticed the other estimators were not in the crawl space doing the evaluation for very long compared to CSCP. CSCP price was competitive. Angie list discount was generous! The CSCP crew came out to do the work two weeks later. They were professional, worked hard and did a good job. They got it done in one day. It's very difficult work to operate in a tight area. It's good to clear out all the old insulation as well as the left over rodent activity plus re-seal areas and new vapor barrier. Lastly CSCP office staff were friendly and responsive on the phone. It is good to finally do the project. Check off my to do list.

It went well. This was a project that I had been putting off for a long time. The crawlspace was in bad shape and with tight access. I got four estimates total. The CSCP estimator did a thorough checkout of the crawlspace. I put coveralls and dust mask on myself and followed him around a little bit also. It was a competitively priced estimate. No pressure. The crew came to do the job the following week. They were professional, worked hard and did a good job. They got it done in one day. I could feel the difference in the house that night! With the clean out, new vapor barrier, re-insulation, wrapping and sealing the ducting and sealing the floor penetrations it was noticeably warmer and I didn't have the old crawlspace smell in the house. It was worth it.

Excellent resource, excellent tech., and from a well reviewed business. My only remaining concern, besides getting any report in hand (Joseph phoned me this morning, 1-15-15, to meet with me soon) is that I noted there was mention of one or more tests/inspections in the Big Deal description that were not done. Not sure what to make of this fact in the end. I have asked the business about this via AL "mail".
Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for the "Hone Energy Audit" from this business recently. I was not able to get the dates I was asked to opt for, but was told they could schedule the Audit about a month out; it is understood this sort of thing is popular during the colder parts of the year. Also, note that upon the purchase of the Big Deal I asked a question/concern about the service and was never given any answer. | |Joseph was the technician who came to do the work (on time, appropriately dressed and ready to go to work). He explained what he was going to do. Although I asked in various ways, I did not get a firm idea of just what form the results were going to be in, or at what point I receive them; I am even more concerned now because he mentioned something about getting back with me (in person?) - without any idea about when I would be able to do so. This is not a good business model. Although the Big Deal states that there is an appliance energy use component to it, no mention was made of this upon the actual event; I feel this is a gaping hole in the Big Deal promise, as such, that is not delivered. | |What was done then (for this 1996 build 2 story 1800sf house with crawlspace): 1) The 2 attic areas were visually inspected by walkthrough with flashlight. I was witness to this and got good feedback this way. 2) The crawlspace was visually inspected with flashlight. 3) Each exhaust fan (with mounting to a wall or ceiling surface only) was tested for appropriate air flow for size of room/use; this was very valuable info. 4) The hot water tank (gas) and the gas furnace systems, both together in the garage, were checked for CO gas; this is essential even with CO detector(s). 5) The whole house was put into negative pressure (with a special fan at the front door) and a remote temperature scope was used to show the differences in temperatures upon the scoped surfaces. | |This last test (5) was of the most beneficial to me, as homeowner. I do not expect any printed "report" on this so it was imperative that I saw the small screen of the scope Joseph was reading from; the info. from this was invaluable - if not surprising. A picture is truly worth a thousand words in this regard. Note: the scope stopped working before the entire house was scanned; this was assumed equipment failure. Also, the fan stopped behaving properly during the early part of the process but it was corrected for the duration; it was an equipment issue as well. Not sure I will ever see any "report" in print form but I would consider doing further business with this company if possible. One comment by Joseph was that he not only does these Audits but the assessments (estimates) and installations; I think this is a valuable asset. | |Finally, he was very knowledgeable about the service, construction and some physics; he was not just a tech who only knew enough to do the testing and little else.

I chose Crawl Space Cleaning Pros (CSCP) over two other companies featured in Angie?s List. It seemed that the majority of companies in this field seemed a little dodgy and untrustworthy, and it wasn?t easy to find three with which I was entirely comfortable. I?d have to say that, on balance, CSCP proved to be reputable and delivered on their promises. I am satisfied with the job they performed, and confident that anyone inspecting my attic would agree that it is clean, appropriately insulated and free of mold. However, I?d be doing you ? reader of this review ? a disservice if I didn?t report that I felt the company?s financial dealings with me were somewhat less than honorable. I accepted, but did not sign, CSCP?s estimate in late June, with the intention of having them perform the work after re-roofing my house. The roofer?s schedule delayed the start of their work until late September, and I did not communicate with CSCP until the roof was nearly finished. At that point, I called the CSCP office and asked them to re-email the bid to me. I signed the estimate, which had not changed from the original, and returned it, only to get a call several days later telling me that CSCP could not perform the work for that amount. I was told the estimate had expired and that the company would lose money if it performed the work for that amount. The owner, Richard, pointed out that CSCP?s estimates are only good for 30 days, and after checking the fine print on the back of the estimate, I saw that was true. He told me that he?d have to add $800 to the estimate, nearly 20% above the original bid, to complete the work. Apparently, the estimator was no longer with the company, and I was told he?d made some big mistakes estimating the job. He also sloughed blame onto a mold-remediation sub-contractor, whose tab was $1500 of the $4250 original estimate. It is true that I could have simply started the bid process anew, but at that point I had already done the research and decided to stick with CSCP, even as I was being opportunistically squeezed. I think Richard was betting that I would agree to a higher figure to avoid the trouble of finding another contractor, and he was right - I gave in. We eventually agreed to an increase of $500 above the estimate, after he went through the charade of ?getting the mold guy to agree.? Undoubtedly, Richard will respond to my post by saying thathe didn?t do anything dishonest, that I live in a place (Vashon Island) that is out of the way, and that the estimator was a screw up. All of that may be more or less true ? he didn?t do anything that was technically dishonest. I do live a ferry ride away, though that was certainly known when Richard approved the original estimate. I don?t know about the capabilities of the estimator, though he seemed extremely knowledgeable about the services CSCP offered, and explained everything in great detail during his visit here. I sincerely believe that Richard saw an opportunity to squeeze a potential customer and decided it was worth the minimal risk of losing that job. All that said, it is only fair to say that I was very impressed by the work that CSPC?s employees did at my house. The lead guy, a young man named David, was really hard working and committed to doing things the right way. He showed great concern for being non-intrusive, and having minimal impact in my house. He was careful to protect our floors with plastic sheeting and to contain any floating insulation with a plastic ?room? he created beneath the attic opening. I told him he could leave the plastic sheets on the floor for the mold guys, who were to come the following day, but he was determined to leave the place like he found it. David, and his helper, Victor were very conscientious guys, and I appreciated the ethic they brought to the job. David told me he?d worked for other companies in which those kinds of values were not insisted on, but that CSPC required them to be conscious of doing quality work and being mindful of the customer?s house and belongings. I don't think it is contradictory to simultaneously voice concern and praise for CSCP, because I think conditions for both responses exist within the company. If I ever have to have re-do the insulation in my attic, I would be comfortable using CSCP again. I would be very careful to leave no openings that could be exploited, but I believe they are committed to doing good work.
Description of Work: Removed existing insulation in attic. Remediated mold in a 600 sq. ft. area of roof. Re-installed insulation. Reattached several HVAC ducts.

Hello [member name removed], Thank you for your thorough and in depth review. However, we disagree that you were "Squeezed". After going through all of our records and e-mails we found that your initial bid was on 6/25/14. The first of October you signed and mailed your contract to our office before calling to see if the bid was still valid. Your work was done on 10/22/14 and 11/3/14. On the front page our bid sheet the "Notice" says the bid is only good for 30 days. We called you when we received your paperwork in the mail, letting you know the prices had gone up and there would be a change in your bid. Sorry we do not have control over our supply prices, as that is dictated by our vendors, and can change at any time. So contrary to what you think, you were not "Opportunistically Squeezed". We do business for other clients on Vashon frequently, so that is not a factor either. Once again, thank you for your feedback, CSCP

CPCP did an excellent job. Nadine and Sanchez arrived right on time, went right to work and worked until almost 6:00 pm. They returned the next day, again on time, and worked again until dark but finished the job. I have never seen two men work as hard and as continuous as these two young men. They were kind and courteous and no one could question their work ethic. I am so pleased with Crawl Space Cleaning Pros and highly recommend them for any of your needs. My crawl space was very small and an absolute disaster. They had 2060 sq. ft to do. They, not once, complained or had a scowl on their face. Merely hearing what was under my house made me sick to my stomach and Nadine and Sanchez made it all good for me. Thank you so much. I am so glad I called CSCP.
Description of Work: Cleaned out all old insulation, sanitized with Expel treatment, installed new vapor barrier, air sealed all sub-floor penetrations, installed new insulation, wrapped all water pipes, secured all connection with sheet metal screws and installed metal strapping as needed to properly secure ducts to joist, sealed all seams, joints, connections, register boos with mastic , wrapped all rigid heat ducts and built a new access hatch and access door cover.

' I called Crawl Space Cleaning Pros and wanted an estimate for taping and insulating the pipes in the crawl space. They were working in the area and came out that afternoon. They went under the house, inspected the insulation and pipes, even took pictures. I was told there was no need to do anything to the pipes because the insulation was more than adequate and no other work was needed. The inspection was quick, clean and thorough, and they didn't charge a dime. if I ever needed work done I wouldn't hesitate to use this company. They are honest and won't try and sell work that isn't needed.

The crew arrived on time, they were very efficient and respectful of my home, laying down plastic to keep floors clean and even putting up plastic sheeting to contain the dust. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, you would not have know they had been here. Another crew came the next day to pump in the foam and insulate duct work and pipes. At the end of the day we did have an issue with the telephone line not working. The company was great working with me to resolve that issue. They never discussed final payment until it was working again and I said I was happy with the work. Everyone was very professional, took time to answer questions and explain the process to me. Jared the crew and the office staff are all good people to work with.
Description of Work: I obtained information/estimates from several places before choosing Crawl Space Cleaning Pros. Jared was very helpful explaining all the options they offered for insulation in my crawl space, and exactly how the work would be done. I was pleased to discover I could have a non toxic foam product that stayed soft enough that any future repairs (ie. plumbing etc.) in the crawl space would not be difficult. They were not the cheapest estimate I received but I was willing to make the investment in the non toxic product.

Joseph arrived on time and explained to me everything he was going to do. His audit included a furnace inspection, attic inspection, testing of the bathroom fans, thermal-imaging of the walls, testing of electrical outlets, canned lights and other openings for energy leakage, and finally, a blower motor test. At the end of the audit, Joseph produced a written report that he went over with me. He discussed improvements I could do myself, and improvements that would be worth having a professional do, and which improvements were a lower priority. He also left me with a written estimate of improvements to my attic, including new insulation, can light shielding and replacement of a PVC pipe that was connected to one of my bathroom fans. There was no pressure from him regarding having any work done, or using his company to do the work. CSCP is on Puget Sound Energy's contractor list. Joseph did not mention this. I found this out when I was looking for contractors to bid on my attic insulation. This was important to me, as the work done by PSE contractors must conform to a certain standard. PSE also offers a rebate if your current insulation is less than 4" deep. While the estimate prepared by Joseph was not totally comprehensive, excluding specifics such as the number of can lights to be shielded, it was a good starting point. If you choose to have CSCP bid on your job, they will send out an estimator. The energy audit really helped me prioritize what I needed to do to my house, and based on what other companies are charging, was an excellent value. Joseph was friendly and knowledgeable and I enjoyed working with him. I highly recommend CSCP to perform an energy audit of your house.

I converted my un-finished garage into a Picture Framing Shop. My contractor put batt insulation in the walls, but the ceiling was just sheet rock attached to the cross ways ceiling joists. Not a bit of insulation was installed up there. In addition, the two attic vents on either end of the building had been sealed off with black plastic to keep out the cold when the garage was bare stud walls. The contractor did not remove the plastic when sheet rocking the ceiling, so no ventilation up there. I hired Crawl Space Cleaning Pros to do blow in cellulose insulation. The technician was efficient and polite. My access hole into the ceiling is in the middle of a functioning, finished picture frame shop, with artwork, and supplies etc. I had no problem with over blow, it went were it was supposed to, and not all over the shop. He treaded carefully in the ceiling, and did not fall through, and he opened up my vents. In this current heat wave my shop is an oasis of wonderful cool. No fans needed, totally delightful. I highly recommend this company.

When I called them they suggested that I call Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to see if I qualified for any rebates. I had no idea and found out I qualified for a $1000 rebate for this work to be done! Jared came out to do an estimate. He was running a little late at his first appointment, so he called me and gave me an update. I liked that professional courtesy! When Jared arrived he was very polite and professional. He used a sensor to determine what, if any, insulation I had in the walls and then actually got up through the little attic egress opening and sized up that area. Jared quickly explained what options were available and what the recommended R factors were. My concern was that I have newer vinyl siding on my house and as they say "Vinyl is Final', so I obviously did not want holes drilled into the siding. Jared explained that the siding would be removed in certain spots and then re-installed to look like nothing had been done. Jared wrote up the estimate in his truck as I had another visitor come while he was there. Jared came to the door and quickly explained that he would leave it with me to look over and I could call if I had any questions. I read it all over and made the decision to go ahead with this project that very same afternoon. By Wednesday of the next week (July 24) a crew was here to do my attic. Originally two crews were to show up and get it all done in one day, however Richard Herron (the owner) called me himself, to explain that the machine for the spray foam insulation for my walls was not working properly. He asked if he could reschedule my appointment to another day. This gave them time to have their machine serviced and insure that my second portion was all done in one day. My schedule was very flexible, so this was fine with me. The first 2 man crew came and did the attic in less than 2 1/2 hours. That included parking around back by the alley and bringing hoses in through the gate and sealing off the entry way to prevent any dust from reaching the rest of my homes' interior. It was a somewhat cool day when they did the work, but it was right before a hot spell. It was remarkable how much cooler my house was with that attic insulation!!! The next week the other crew of Joseph and Darius arrived to do the spray foam in the walls. This was a much bigger job because of the siding and apparently siding installation has improved over the years, so Joseph called for a boss (possibly Jared or Richard) to come inspect and make sure that they could remove it with the tools they had without damaging it. All was a go after the boss left and within 6 hours my house had siding removed, plugs drilled around, insulation sprayed in, plugs replace, and siding replaced. Joseph and Darius were both so polite and professional! Spray foam can be messy but it is non toxic. They were very careful to clean up any dripping and then water sprayed my house down and also cleaned any plants that had residue on them. When they were finished it looked like nobody had been there! I was impressed! I was also delighted at how much cooler my house stays in this heat wave we are having. I have a west/southwest exposure with larger windows and the insulation is keeping the heat OUT in summer as much as it will keep it IN in the winter. I can't say enough good things about this company! Honest, hardworking, punctual, polite, high degree of integrity. I would recommend them to all my friends!! Kudos to the office staff of Linnae, Allison and Elizabeth also! Always there to answer a question.
Description of Work: First I want to say that Crawl Space Cleaning Pros do a lot more than clean our crawl spaces! I called about getting insulation in my attic and walls of my 72 year old house. Because of the age, I'm not sure it ever had any! They were able to have an an estimator (Jared) come out within a few days.

At first our estimator Jared was on time, friendly and gave us a good estimate on the repair. A few days later we decided to go with them over the other 2 estimates we received. 1st appointment was scheduled and then he rescheduled 2 times through email - no phone call so I didn't get the email until I received a call from their office the day before to confirm an afternoon time slot. I told the their office that it would not work because my husband works nights and it had to be the first thing in the morning or after 3 or 4 in the afternoon like Jarod and I agreed to. Jared called, appologized for the misunderstanding and confirmed his guys would be there at 4pm the next day. SO when their guys showed up at 12:00 to start the job they woke my husband who then couldn't go back to sleep after they left. Although we were happy the job was going to get done, I was irratated by the lack of communication and follow through of the schedule Jared and I agreed to the previous day. I immediatley sent an email to Jared. No response from him. One of the workers, Jose - AMAZING work and did a great job of explaining what they were doing and the process taking place. Would recommend Jose to anyone. The following week we were scheduled for Phase II - again our appointment was reschedule. The office called once again to confirm and they had us down for a AM and PM appointment and could not give us a time frame they would be out - told me "I don't know, it will be in the morning or afternoon." Irratated again, I called Jared, left a voice mail - no response. Sent an email - no response. The guys (Ryan and another worker) came out to complete the job and although friendly, broke our water pipe under the house in the process. Ryan asked us to shut off the water because it was spraying everywhere. He immediatley blamed another company that we had out stating that they didn't do their job right. We called the other company while Ryan called Jared. Hunts (also on Angies List --- EXCELLENT!!! came out within the hour and fixed the water break that RYAN (who supposedly doesn't work at the company any longer - quit a few days after he came to our house) broke by stapling the rodent barrier up. Ryan denied that he did it but Crawl Space Cleaning Pro's stated that they would pay for the repair if it was there fault -- bottom line here - they paid for it because it was Ryan's fault! The crew left and we didn't hear back from the company until my husband went down and talked to the owner almost a week later - mind you, the job isn't done and in worse shape now with the new water flooding issue. I had sent another email to Jared - no response and left a voice mail - no response. The owner appologized, told us that Ryan no longer works with them and they had to go in and repair other jobs he did. He said that they would get a crew down 3 days later to assess the project and to finsih it up. The crew came that Thursday (3 days later). Replaced the installation, rodent and vapor barrier and left. I feel they did a slopping job tacking the rodent barrier up; it isn't a tight fit and it just looks sloppy. We request Jose to come back and although my husband was assured he would be the one, it was 2 different guys that showe up. Today marks 9 days later and no communication from the company so I unplugged the 2 fans they left running under our house and put the skirting back up myself. I would not recommend this company to anyone nor will we ever use them again. Lack of communcation, follow through and quality of work - EXCEPT FOR JOSE -- he did an except job.
Description of Work: Pulled out the rodent barrier, replaced insullation and put in new rodent barrier and vapor barrier in appro. 300 sq ft of space

There were some real regrettable things that happened on this job. We have worked very hard to correct these issues with the client and have made internal changes, as well, to insure these things will not happen again.

The inspection was ok; they did not see anything that required immediate attention. They honored the Big Deal price. I had not been up in the attic for some time and done an inspection so I thought I would call somebody more knowledgeable do that so they came in and gave me a report of the level of insulation and I have that information available. They came on time and did a good job. They went back, brought up the report, and then sent me a copy of the report. The price was right under the special deal.
Description of Work: They did an insulation inspection but I decided not to hire them to do any additional insulation at that time.

I was having an issue with rodents in my crawlspace, and in a closet where my furnace is. The estimator came out, he was awesome, knowledgeable, friendly, understanding. He took pictures so I could visual spaces where I was not willing to crawl into. The goal was to seal up holes so rodents could not get in get rid of old insulation, feces, etc. He was fairly confident he knew where they were coming in. Of course "no guarantees, but we have a pretty high track record of sealing the holes" I decided to hire them. The workers came out on time, pleasant nice, etc. Here is where it all falls apart.. Let me mention they were nice enough to let me make payments on a small balance because I am a single Mom, I think Jared just felt bad all I had went thru with this mess, and the unethical companies I had wasted my money on. Normally they do not do payments. After the workers left, I looked in that closet, unbelievable, it was awful. The old insulation was not completely out, there were droppings all over. I sent Jared pictures, and asked if this was as good as it gets. They scheduled another appointment, which I had to take off work for. I got home, I waited, and waited and waited. No one ever showed up. I then received an extremely apologetic letter from the owner stating it was his fault, and can we reschedule. At this point, mistakes happen but I can't miss work again. He was kind enough to schedule a Saturday. We scheduled a set time. I sat at home, and waited. Over an hour later, their "quality assurance" manager shows up. Very jovial carefree guy, doesn't apologize. He does a fabulous job of cleaning out what the original crew missed but he breaks a pipe. My main water needs to be shut off on a Saturday for well over an hour. He leaves, states everything is fine. Two days later I look in this space and there are droppings, I email the estimator and let him know, the next day I email him again and let him know I caught a rodent. I ask am I on my own? I get no response. So I just have been setting traps, and dealing with it, and seeking other advice. Then their office manager takes money out of my account, without my authorization, stating I am in a contract which I am, but in my opinion so are they. Makes me overdrawn, was a mess. I owe them 370$ I just received a letter, they want to put a LIEN on my property, or send me to collections, and they will take legal action...What a joke, this company will not get another penny from me. I left them a voicemail last night, extremely ANGRY!! I will be hiring a "licensed plumber" to come take a look at that pipe. I can probably take a guess that the gentlemen who came out isn't a licensed plumber. I have also learned after going thru this, and researching more that companies will set traps after taking insulation out for a few weeks before reinstalling to make sure those holes are sealed... If only I would have known. Please people be cautious. UPDATE: I wrote a review July 2nd 2014..... The company response is so inaccurate it blew me away, so I am writing again. Above is the wording in my contract, please be cautious of this company. They did not go above and beyond, as a matter of fact, I am the one that emailed, called them with no response on my issues. It was only until they wanted the payment that they contacted me, and indeed I did not response at that point. I have since been contacted by an attorney to recover 370$. If that amount of money is worth going thru all the trouble of attorney's, instead of coming out and actually fixing the problem? I would say indeed Crawl Space Cleaning Pros is indeed about the dollars and not the customer. I gladly pay for quality work, not for sloppy work, missed appointments causing me to lose income, being well over an hour late, broken water pipes, ripped door trim, and in the end, I am in the same exact spot I was the day Jared walked in my home. They were paid over 1600$, so to say that nothing was ever good enough for me is completely insulting. I hope no one ever has to go thru this again. Consumers beware!

This person was having issues with rodents, which our contract does not guarantee; this is why we recommended for her to have a pest control company to come out. Client wanted a payment plan, which we do not normally do. However, to help her out, we made an exception, doing a 4-month payment plan. She signed the contract (that states payment is due in full upon completion) and decided to move forward. We completed all work as drawn out on the signed contract. Every time we called for payment, there were new issues to be resolved. We fixed each and every issue and still she does not want to pay and will not return our calls. We went above and beyond the contract to help this person out but still was never enough for her. Regards, CSCP

I took off work for the first half of the day to be there for the energy assessment because the business said via Angie's List they didn't do weekend appointments. I had to take off the whole morning because they have to block a few hours to perform all the analysis. Joseph the tech calls me already running 30 minutes late and saying he's just getting on the freeway and it should be only another 30 minutes. Then he calls me after another 45 minutes and says he's just getting to Seattle (relative to where we live he's essentially another 45 minutes away in morning traffic at least). I tell him he's already almost 2 hours late and I can't sit around because I have to go into work in the afternoon. He apologizes and reschedules me for a Saturday. He comes Saturday, very jovial fellow, good with people, positive, polite. Does his thing and says that he'll send me the energy assessment report afterwards. I'm looking forward to this as I ponder what areas I may want to do. I'm already pretty certain I would like them to do a blown insulation in the attic at the least - which my Angie's List $99 would be put toward. Great, right? No report for a couple weeks. I reach out to Joe before my family goes on vacation. Nothing. I come back, kind of forget about it until a couple weeks later I find his business card and the CO2 tool he used. I call his cell, briefly chat with him, "Oh yeah i'll get that to you." No report after another week. I have a couple more trips I have to go in. I'm a pretty patient person, give people the benefit of the doubt, thinking they must be pretty busy. In the coming few weeks. I leave a couple voicemails for Joe, no response. I try calling the company, but no one ever seems to answer. Then out of nowhere in late May/early June both a representative from CSCP and Angie's List within a few days of each other call and ask me how my service was in March. I tell both of them i'm not getting any responses and I want the report that I paid for and I need the tech to come pick up his tool still. They both apologize but again, NEITHER ONE OF THEM OR THE ORIGINAL TECH HAVE STILL CONTACTED ME. Real professional guys. #sarcasm
Description of Work: I bought an energy assessment deal off of Angies List for this merchant. They came in and did thermal imaging, carbon dioxide testing, etc. to assess how my home may be losing heat/costing me money.

The energy audit was very helpful. It found lots of places that needed sealing or more insulation. It also found that one of the bathroom fans was not moving enough air for the size of the bathroom. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly.

We used angle's list coupon for a slightly discounted service from this company. They gave us a comprehensive audit of the space to be serviced. they booked us initially on a saturday then called us to change the date of our service because they overbooked. not the best thing but we were fortunate that we still have time to reschedule before we moved in so we rescheduled on a wednesday. their guys came in, very professional and provided us pictures of the before and after photos of our crawlspace. after the service, they even thanked us for using them with a starbucks gift card. pricey, yes it is but i guess that is just how the going rate for this service is. maybe next time i will have more time to shop around and get a second estimate. but yes, will hire them again, if the price is right!

Please do not make the mistake we did. We got 2 bids and chose this vendor believing we were looking at a slightly less expensive bid for the same work. Shame on us. We paid slightly less for about 1/4 of the work. My wife came away from her conversation with the estimator thinking we'd have a new vapor barrier and all the sub floor insulation replaced. Unfortunately for us, that's not what the written bid said and we didn't read it close enough. As a result we got insulation on one wall and some foam injections but not the other. Had we realized this we would have used the other vendor. These guys did what was written and they did it well but I'd use the less expensive more complete folks next time.

Hello [member name removed], Sorry you perceived things this way. We bid the areas that were specifically asked for by your wife. You signed the bid, approving work to be accomplished. We were early for your estimate and on time the day work was scheduled. All questions or concerns were promptly responded. We are happy to discuss any further concerns you may have. Regards, CSCP
