We have used Canzler several times over the last 20+ years, and have never been disappointed. The came out right away and gave us a reasonable bid. I also got a bid from another tree service for the same price. We told them when we would be available, and they scheduled an appointment. Tony and Dan and the crew arrived promptly. Within an hour they were done, and everything cleaned up.

This was one of the nicest group of men that you could ever want to meet. They were on time, polite, very friendly, positive attitudes, and very hard working in spite of the temperate hitting 91 degrees that day. The reason for Tony and his crew to come out was to cut down and grind the stumps of five trees. Four of those trees were very close to the fence, and very tall, perhaps topping at forty feet. Rick, who did the stump grinding took extra care when being close to the fence. One tree in particular, a clump of aspens were extremely close to the fence, less than a foot away, and yet Rick managed to grind down with stumps without leaving a mark on the fence. They did a little extra work for us, too, such as pulling out the trunk of a wisteria that I had cut down, and grinding the stump. After they arrived, is when I added on the arborvitaes, which was not a problem for them. Tony cut them down to the height that we wanted, and then asked if we were happy with the result before continuing on. Their prices are very competitive, and we would not hesitate to call them again. They truly did and outstanding job, and were a great crew.

Got a reply for my online request for bid within a few hours and he was out quickly They did everything as discussed and more. I kept adding more trees to remove than what was quoted originally. Very accommodating . Cleaned up site when done Very pleased

The crew arrived with the manpower and tools needed including an industrial sized chipper. They removed an aging pear tree, cutting the stump neatly to the ground. All the branches were raked up, put through the chipper and hauled away. I have used Canzler Tree service before and will not hesitate to call them again.

One was even in an ackward area, but they were able to get it. I called over 10 other companies, theirs by far was the most reasonable and they did an excellent job.

Crew arrived as scheduled with large chipper. Confirmed tree to be removed then cut down, sectioned and cleaned up all debris from old pear tree in backyard.Cost was the same as previous estimate of service. I had previously used Canzler tree service to remove ice storm debris in January of 2012. They know what they are doing, come prepared for any circumstance and when finished leave no evidence of work performed. I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done.

Everything was completed as promised. The tree that was close to the house was topped without any damage to our property.

Tony came in Aug and reviewed the work to be done and gave us an estimate. He recommended that we wait until mid-Oct to to do the pruning. He called us in mid-Oct and arranged to do the work on Nov 2nd. He and his crew came at the arranged time and completed the job in less than 2 hours. All cuttings were collected, grounded and hauled away. We even added another small pruning job to cut a Maple away from the house. He did the job for the amount estimated. We felt the price of the job was reasonable and were very satisfied with their work. We have recommended the to friends.

When I returned from work one day in early October, it was difficult at first to know they had been here. There wasn't a bit of debris or anything out of the ordinary to give away their work. When I inspected the trees I could see the work had been performed as promised and as we had expected, with one minor exception. In the row of cypress trees, there were three large broken branches in two trees. Canzler was to remove these and prune all of the trees back. They missed one of the broken branches. A decorative bird bath in the back yard was broken while pruning the cypress trees. I noticed the bird bath was missing but Tony called to explain what had happened before I had the chance to call him to ask about it. He offered to pay us for the bird bath and when we submitted an invoice to him for it, he paid it immediately. The row of cypress trees look a lot better with a nicely done pruning and the birch tree is upright and looks stronger than it has for a while. We planted all of these trees nearly 20 years ago and this was the first pruning any of them has ever had. I understand that once these types of trees are pruned, it can become necessary to do that more often. I will certainly look to Tony Canzler to take care of the work for me. UPDATE: A couple of days after I posted this review, Tony Canzler was back in my neighborhood to work in some other yards nearby. Without prompting by me, he also came to my yard and took care of that remaining broken branch on my cypress trees. Good work.

The entire experience with Canzler Tree Service was refreshingly professional! My initial call was after hours but Mrs. Canzler answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for the estimate. Mr. Canzler arrived and gave the estimate exactly as scheduled. The morning of the work, the crew arrived as scheduled, reconfirmed the work and promptly initiated the job. The trees were cut, debris removed, and electrical lines carefully avoided. The job was completed quickly, safely and in the most professional manner. Two enormous chestnut trees were added as the crew was finishing the originally scheduled work. The pricing was quite reasonable. This is a family-owned and -operated business and the pride of workmanship was quite exceptional. I would definitely use again and give my highest recommendation. Thank you Canzler family!

They are very careful, safe, and dependable. They come out whenever you call to give you a bid, and they always stick to the bid they give you. They make sure that your home is protected from what they are doing. I have been told that they are a little higher in price, but I think they are worth it.

They did an excellent job and did what they said they would. They were prompt and did an excellent clean up job.

They are reliable and reasonably priced. They even hauled everything away.

The combination of a foot of snow then the freezing rain in mid January was more than our poplar tree could stand. The end result was a lot of broken branches, some of them very large and a real mess all over the backyard. Following an estimate, I scheduled a date for the clean up and was told that they were very busy and that it might be 2 weeks or more before they could come. Before the scheduled date I recieved a telephone call that they had an equipment breakdown and could I pick another date. The day they did the job I recieved a telephone call beforehand letting me know they were 10 minutes away. Upon arrival a 4 man crew divided into 2 groups, one group fed branches into the chipper while 2 others made a complete route thru the backyard trimming broken branches and making sure everything was raked up. When they were finished it looked like nothing ever happened.I was even given a verbal estimate on a future tree removal.

I needed a large tree removed. I e-mailed them with the info. They called me with a quote. I said that would be great. They came over and did the work. They were fast and took all the branches away. I was really happy with the service. The price was fair considering they have to pay a crew and carry insurance.

We've been using them over a span of 18 years so it is a couple of generations of a family owned company. It is the second generation. They have very competitive bids and they are real conscientious. They do excellent work. They are very responsive if there hasn't been a storm but if there is a storm, you have to wait like everybody else. Many years ago I paid about half the price.
