The first day I have 3 issues: 1) I asked for, but did not get a receipt - necessary for claiming on my taxes. 2) Brandon had no regard for the deer fence and not only was it pulled down, but one section destroyed while trimming branches. By the time I noticed, the damage was already in progress so chose to have Brandon finish the tree trimming. I would recommend an arborist for next time. 3) While planting root-bound plants, I asked that the roots be cut a bit first - and provided a knife. Only the first few were done this way. The second day when he had not arrived, I called and left a message 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Waited 10 minutes for a reply before looking for another worker. Brandon never called back. I think my job was bigger and harder than Brandon was prepared to do. He did put in a good effort the first day, but the no-show and no call was unacceptable. Before you hire Brandon, look at the L&I website. He has 3 violations - currently all unsatisfied. He is not currently licensed with L&I.

The first time I had Seahawk Lawn Service do my lawn I was pleased. They worked hard and I took advantage of a four hour special for $140. They mowed, weed-eated, spread mulch, planted two bushes and did heavy weeding. The lawn looked very nice. Two guys, neither of whom were the owner, did the work and both were friendly and professional. The second time I scheduled a service , an hour after the scheduled time the owner facebook messaged me to say they couldn't make it and they were all going camping Friday so he'd have to reschedule for Monday. The owner communicated with me later and said that he really had no control over being unable to make it on Thursday as his scheduled jobs that day ran longer than expected. He said that as a small, family-owned business that has recently launched they are still working some kinks out in scheduling. To be fair, I can understand this, so I've amended my overall review (since I can't remove it). They did good work for a fair price with a great attitude - that was much appreciated.

It started out good and went downhill from there. Hired Brandon of Seahawk Lawn Service to mow and weed at my beach house. Took some phone tag and messaging to connect and get a bid but was successful. Initial cleanup was good. Decided to continue to have Brandon do twice monthly maintenance thereafter. Maintenance service in April and early May was good. One section of the lawn was not mowed during second May maintenance. I messaged him of this and a few days later he said he remembered that he forgot to mow it and would take care of it the next service along with extra flower bed cleanup. This would have been the first June service. No maintenance in June was performed even though prepayment for June was cashed. Left messages with Brandon, never heard from him. I ended up having to mow the overgrown lawn myself. It would have been nice to be notified if Brandon was not able to perform the lawn service as agreed, whatever the reason. I have since notified Brandon his services are no longer required.

Everything went as contracted.
