Our experience was excellent from start to finish

Overall it was a great experience. Beverly is very sharp!! She saved us lot's of $$ in a deal where I believe no other agent would have. Here's the story: We found a great house and made a cash offer. We had discussed the advantage of local escrow with Beverly and made that part of our offer. They countered at a price we were willing to pay, but said that escrow had to go through a company in Florida. We were ready to accept (the banks have lots of rules and pretty much call the shots these days, and this was a big national bank), but something just didn't seem quite right to Beverly. So, she took the time to research state records and found that the escrow company was charged with violating WA State real estate laws and was banned from transactions in the state. We went back to the bank with this information but they said "we don't care, use that escrow or we'll find someone else. Of course we ended up walking away, but now the state has formally launched an fraud investigation into the dealings of both the bank and the escrow company. I firmly believe that we would have never gotten our $2500 in earnest money back. Thank you Beverly! We spent many more weekends and made a number of of offers until we finally got the property we wanted. I would be surprised if Beverly even made minimum wages on this deal, but she is always patient and professional. We will definitely be using her again!!
