Derick was the pool cleaner and chemical adjuster. We found out our 30 year old filter was not doing the job. Caleb contacted me with a great price with installation which is show above. Derick was here every other day and sometimes daily just for 15 minutes to check out how it was doing (cleaning and clearing of the water) He then flocked the pool so all residual elements that were clouding up the pool would fall to the bottom, enough said. It is Crystal clear!!!!!! Haven't got the cleaning bill ( with chemicals) yet but their prices are very very reasonable compared to others that have quoted me over $200 an hour and a trip charge ta boot ( they are less than $90 per hour for cleaning )! Great people, good prices and we will have them keep doing the maintenance all summer and close the pool at winter time.
Description of Work: We needed a full cleaning and need 300 lb sand filter installed and the pool cleaned of all fir needles and leaves after the winter. Our pool is in ground, gunite at 18,000 gallons kidney shaped.

It went GREAT all the way up until I decided to give the 'go ahead' to get my spa. After that, it all went downhill, and is still no resolved. I shouldn't have to call all the time and beg them to fulfill their obligations to me. That should be their doing, but h***, maybe they have so much business, mine doesn't matter to them. So, as flexible as I try to be, it's been about 2 months to get my full spa totally installed, and I am still waiting on a railing and a new top cover. I am VERY disappointed in the service I have received so far, it's just awful, and I wouldn't send ANYBODY in to deal with these people. that I knew. It's just too much hassle, and I am tired of having to be the one to call all the time and get them to do what they should be doing for me in the first place. I want my hand rail that I paid for and I want the replacement top for the one they delivered to me with a hole in it. Will I get it? I have no idea, but I am letting my Angie's list friends to "BEWARE" doing anything with these guys. Don't expect decent service, and if you have to call in, you will probably p*** somebody off, or told some outlandish tail which, if it's true, it's sad, but business is business. We were promised a railing and replacement hood, and that was over a month ago. My overall experience is a D, and would have been an F if not for the spa being a nice unit, but with spa's, you need more than the physical item, especially if you have never owned a spa before, you need help and their expertise, and that is very lacking in my opinion here.
Description of Work: Went to Puyallup Fair, knew we were interested in a Hot Tub, but wanted to look. Aqua Rec was the first one and they had a factory rep there that knew their product very well and sold us on their quality, and they make a quality tub, no doubt about it. It's the Service and dealing with them that has really worn thin on me. We paid $1000 at the Fair to hold the price for 1 year. They gave us a decent price, I don't think it was the best price, but certainly not the worst. We put in the contract that we wanted the works, a good sound system, all the jets, lights, really cool stuff. Our house is built into a hill, so the upstairs you see from the front, and looks like just a Rambler. We have an out building (garage basically) with a road that drives down between it. We weren't sure how heavy the hot tubs were (empty) but thought they may have to use a crane. The local manager (can't remember his name off the top of my head, but the Factory rep that we talked to was named Henry). The local manager offered to pay $400 towards either the crane or the electrical installation that would be needed which required a 220amp outlet, and it's own place on the Junction box. They had a guy they recommended and used all the time, and we decided we would just use him whenever we decided to give the go-ahead. So far so good. Mid January rolls around, we got the money saved up and ready to get the Hot tub/Spa, and I called and got the "hub" (there are 4 different stores in the area, so calling one number sends you to a hub and they ask which one you want) but wasn't sure which store I wanted. I asked for Henry and they didn't know him (he was the factory guy), so I asked to speak to the other man who had also put his card in our folder, but he wasn't supposed to be there until Friday, and this was on a Monday 1/21/13. I talked to a guy who found our paperwork and "Hey, no problem, we can have that spa on next week's truck that is coming". Ok great, I was hoping to have it by the Superbowl on 2/3/13. He asked for a bigger down payment which we knew they needed half to order it, so I gave him another $4000 or so, but then, 2 weeks went by and nothing. I tried calling again and nobody knew anything, so I got frustrated, and in our documentation folder, Henry had left his cell phone number with me on his business card in case I needed to call him, so I texted him and told him the troubles I was having and how I was told my spa would be in within a week, but it was 2 weeks, and no call. Apparently, Henry lit a fire under somebody's butt because I got a call almost immediately and was told that a guy would be coming out on Saturday to see if we required the small crane or the large one that lifted the spa over our roof onto our deck. Well, the guy never showed up. By Tuesday, I got no call as to why the guy didn't show up, so I called again, I got a man named Rick, who seems like a nice guy at times, but a lot of times, it feels like you are p****** him off by calling him. I wondered what happened to the guy that was supposed to come on Saturday, but he didn't know why the guy didn't show up. Next day, 3 guys come out unannounced, without warning and I just luckily had ordered a pizza that came when they did, so I told them where the Spa needed to go. I am handicapped, and in a wheel chair. It's hard for me to move around so I they finally got done looking at things, and said the small crane would do fine, which was fine with me, and I shut the door. They stayed out there a little bit longer, and I guess decided that they could just take the railing down, and lift the spa out of their pickup/flatbed or whatever it was they had, and slide it into place. Ok, fine, so when will my spa get here. It should be any day.. Ok, so now, it missed the Superbowl, so now I am hoping to have it in by Valentines day, another 2 weeks later, but on the 14th, I hear NOTHING. It's like pulling teeth with these people. Do they really want to sell me a spa? I contact Henry again, apologize and tell him the only reason I am contacting him is because when I talk to him, things seem to get done, and I just want to know where my spa is. It's been over a month since I told them I wanted it, so finally, Rick calls me and says it will be put in the next day. Wow, really? Ok, great, so they come on the 15th, but instead of at 11am like they told me (my wife works, in outside sales and stuck around so she could verify where we wanted everything. We wanted to orientate it so the deepest seat could look out across the back yard, plus we had ordered a handrail to help me get in and out of the Hot Tub, as I said, I am handicapped. Well, the got it all together, and there was no rail. Oops, left it back at the shop, was told that they would bring it out the next day, but guess what. NOPE, nothing. We even found a hole in the top cover, so they were going to "re-order" a new top for it. This was a month ago on 2/15/13. It's 3/16/13, and now, even Henry is ignoring my phone calls. Customer service at this place SUCKS. Once they got your money, it's like you don't exist. They wanted me to refer business to them from friends and people that see the spa, which is nice, but still hard for me to get into and out of, especially by myself since the railing STILL hasn't shown up, nor has the replacement cover. I am sick of dealing with these people. I shouldn't have to BEG when I spend enough money for a car on something. I was told their service is so great blah blah, but it's been h***. Since Henry hasn't returned my texts, I figured it's Angie's list and BBB time.

A very good experience.
Description of Work: The technician spent a couple of hours diagnosing the problems. The first problem was easy, it need a new thermopile. The second problem was a little harder and require disassembling most of the fireplace insert. The thermocouple was bad. He also noticed that the fan was noisy and stuck in a couple of magnets to help quiet it down. He was very informative and explained exactly what he was doing so I could replace those parts if they ever went bad again.

Fine.
Description of Work: We purchased a hot tub from Aqua Rec at the Puyallup Fair. Prior to visiting the fair, we went to the dealer and got a quote which was matched at the fair when we asked. Delivery was on time and professionally done. The hot tub has performed well with no problems. The guy in charge of hot tub sales and service is Rick. The person who delivered the hot tub is John, and he did an excellent job.

Aqua Rec called us after we registered at our fireplace manufacturer's website. The very next day, Kevin Evans came out took the fireplace apart and fixed it for $140. We had been quoted $540 by another company. He pointed out areas we might be concerned about in the future. Very helpful, very responsive, very professional.

On 11/19/10 my husband stopped by the Bonney Lake Store to trouble shoot problems we were having with our Harmon pellet stove. He spoke to the person at the front desk, who called the Tacoma store. It was determined that we needed a new room sensor. My husband requested a service man to come out and plug in his diagnostic tester so we could determin if that was the cause or something else, but were told they will not come out until they have the part. On 11/26/10 we stopped at the Bonney Lake store again to see if the part was in. The counter person again called the Tacoma store, part was not in. On 11/30/10, I called the Tacoma store to find out the status and request a tech come out to do the diagnotic and was told no. The first week of December my husband stopped over at the Tacoma store and talked to the service manager. The manager was unresponsive to my husband until my husband finally insisted they check the floor model pellet stoves to see if any had the room sensor, they found one. He was allowed to bring it home, but this did not resolve the problem. We contacted the store and let them know it did not resolve the problem. We were told then it must be the exhaust sensor probe. They would order one. We again asked that a tech come out and run the diagnostic test to make sure this is the right part. We were told they were sure this is the right part and a tech would only be out to install it. We scheduled an appt on 12/21/10 for the tech to come out and install the sensor. The service man called that morning to let us know the part had not arrived, he would not be out. Again we asked a tech to come out to do the diagnostic but he would not. The following morning I called and spoke with Caleb to find out why we were not getting any results. He told me that they had no idea we were having problems with the stove until the first week of December. He said most of the time the problems people have with the stoves are caused by us not cleaning them properly. I told him we cleaned it as directed by the manual. Also stated that if we are not cleaning it correctly, how can we learn to do it correctly if no one will come out. Also stated at one point that we would order the part directly from Harmon and was interrupted by Caleb telling me to go ahead and do that. I responded that the written material as well as Harmon's website states we have to go through the distributor. I asked him what happens if the exhaust sensor probe also does not resolve the problem. His response was that we will just have to order another part. Caleb volunteered to call Harmon to put a rush on the exhaust sensor probe, which told me that the part may not even been ordered yet. We scheduled a new appointment for today,12/30/10, between 8am and noon. Today at 10 am, Caleb called to let me know the probe still had not arrived. He stated he would call me back after he had talked to UPS to get an estimated arrival date. Also I requested a new appointment, but received no response. He did not call back, so I called him back at 2pm and was told he was on another call and would return my call shortly. So far no response and it is now 4pm. Today is January 5, 2011. I still have not had a call back. Update, received a call on January 21 from Mark telling us that the part has come in and they can send a repair person. January 22, 2011, Jared the repair person was out. The first thing he did was insert the sensor and try to start up the stove. It still did not work. He took out the diagnostic tool and found out another sensor, which they do keep on hand at the stop was out and had to be replaced. He did not bring one with us so came back out of January 26th and replaced it. The stove appears to be working fine now. And there was absolutely no excuse for refusing to do the diagnotic in November and making the repair at that time. It is 4/19/2012 and I was asked to update my review. We have not had any more problems with the pellet stove so have had no additional contact or need with the company. Due to the above issue, we no longer purchase our pellets from them. We get our pellets from McClindons when they have a sale.
Description of Work: We purchased a Harmon Accentra from this store on November 21, 2009. The first year the stove worked perfectly. We had no problems at all. We first reported problems in November, 2010 and so far, with many calls, no-one has been willing to come out to test the stove and diagnose what the problem is. No service has been performed as of today January 5, 2011. Please read details below. January 26, 2011 The stove has been repaired and appears to be working fine. However the sensor this store ordered which we have been waiting all this time for did not solve the problem. They had to replace another sensor which is a part they happen to have on hand. This whole issue could have been avoided if they had just come out, plugged in the diagnostic tool and made the repair.

Called this company, cause I often buy product at their store, set up an appointment to have them come out to service the hot tub, when they showed up they worked on the hot tub for a couple hours, replaced some parts. The hot tub worked when they left and worked for about a month, then stopped working again. It is currently still NOT working!!!! Not very happy with this service
Description of Work: Jacuzzi (hot tub) was not circulating or heating up. We needed it serviced/fixed etc for an upcoming party.
