We offer a wide range of maintenance service contracts that can be customized to each clients needs and budget. We provide basic mowing to full service contracts as well as pay as needed services. We can work from your landscape design or design-build your project from scratch.

Description of Work: After completing my landscaping project, the Green Effects president refused to stand behind the work. I made numerous complaints and sent a letter to Green Effects but the president did not respond and when I called him told me he was "upset because I accused the company of poor workmanship. Green Effects failed to address my other complaints which includes a failure to supply the quality topsoil I paid for. Instead of topsoil I have what appears to be landfill dirt because I have found cedar chips, wood pieces and metal scrap. I have filed a complaint with small claims court which is pending.

It is unfortunate that this situation had to be litigated but sometimes you just have to stand up to bad consumers. Green Effects does stand behind their work and even went beyond with this client by repairing a sprinkler head, at no cost, that the client ran over with their lawn mower. The sprinkler head was located in a future shrub area. What was the client doing with the lawn mower in a future shrub area? Probably mowing the 12” tall weeds that they have been neglecting over the 8-month period from the time we finished their project. These would be the same weeds they feel we are responsible for because we used landfill dirt instead of nutrient rich topsoil, that in most cases produces a better weed crop then landfill dirt, never mind the soil was exposed and unmaintained for 8-months. Concerns were addressed, receipts were provided but the client refused to accept any and filed a complaint in small claims court… yup, case was dismissed.

We discovered a leak in one of the sprinkler pipes, in the yard, and our yard care guy recommended Green Effects. The leak appeared to have been caused by a large fir tree root. Green Effects came out, checked the pipes and discovered the broken part could be capped off, and elbow placed in another section of pipe which re-routed the system away from the leak. Worked like a charm and only took him a little more then an hour to fix. Was very happy with the end results. If we ever needed work like this done again, we will call Green Effects.

The fall cleanup was completed; although not all work was done on their first trip out so I had to call to have them come out to complete the job. There was quite a delay in getting the bid for continued yard maintenance. We decided not to have this work done, but we would probably have had someone else come out to do this for us.
