I would steer well clear of this company. Cummings and Hunts both came out, walked the house and I told them what I wanted. Both rep's told me they would go back, talk to the hvac guys and send me a quote. Dr Cool's rep arrived on site and almost immediately asked "how much are you looking to spend on this?". After walking the house, he told me "you're probably looking at $24,000" When I asked why he explained that I had several runs and they would all need to be replaced. When I told him I did not want them replaced he said that if I only wanted them repaired he said he could probably get it down to $12000. I asked him to send me a quote which he never did, I guess he could tell there was no way I was going for this. By way of comparison, the other 2 quotes I got were both for around $5k. My guess is they looked at the neighborhood and jacked my price up to see if I would go for it. These guys give me the same vibe as used car salesmen. Again, steer clear, they are clearly unscrupulous.

The technician arrived promptly when he said, was very professional, not pushy and completed the job in excellent time. He also did a check-up on the furnace while he was here. I will definitely hire this company for any other services in the future.

toni was the technician. Very thourough and polite. Changed out both filters in gas furnace. Explained to me in detail that I needed two new parts for my furnance and what they would cost. Absolutely no pressure at all to purchase then. Explained to me that without the new parts the furnance "should" work. I ended buying the one that Toni thought was most important. That part was $107.00. So, not so bad at all. All in all, I will definately use this company again, especially for my annual furnance "tune-up".

Only complaint was the price of the components. They were a bit high. The work was professional and high quality. Technician was prompt and courteous.

Very professional, quickly identified the fuses that had gone bad, confirmed no obvious extenuating reason for the failure. Cost very reasonable. Definitely will use again.

I've lived in this home about 5 years. The furnace is probably the original placed in 1975. Tony did a great job. serviced the furnace accoreding to the 25 point checklist as advertised. and provided an estimate for additional repairs. the furnace neded some new wires. He got the furnaqce working again and it is now putting out heat again. very reasonable price. very professional and helpful. thanx tony!

The first time these jokers came out was to diagnose the air conditioner. My appointment time was between 3:30pm-4:30pm. He finally shows up at about 5:30pm and doesn't speak a lick of English. I had someone at the house for me to greet him and although he "diagnosed" it there was no clear explanation for what was actually wrong. He wouldn't give my roommate the name of the peice that was broken, etc. He actually said, from what I understand "It'll cost $150 to repair it, and $300 to fully fix it" Riddle me that. I had to call the office the following Monday morning for an explanation of their diagnosis and a more concrete quote to fix it. They gave me a quote of about $200 to replace a $35 part. I did some calling around and they were actually the cheapest I could get someone to come out for, so under my better judgment I scheduled them to come out on Friday at 4:30pm. I work in downtown Seattle and live in the Graham area so I had to make special arrangements in order to get home at 4:30pm. I worried about all week getting home on time and was able to arrive home exactly at 4:30pm. I have plans at 6:30pm this evening and guess what - no technician. I call the office about 4:45pm (after I called earlier that day to confirm the time and ask to have the tech call me when he was in route) Since I had no call around 4:45pm I called the office. The lady in the office seems very nice but it's obvious she either doesn't give two s**** about her customers, or her techs don't give two s**** about the poor position they put her in from a customer service standpoint. Either way here I am typing up a review about a company I'm still waiting to shell out $200 to replace a $35 part. I should probably just got get certified to fix AC units so I can screw people over to! Long story short, pay a little more for someone who A. Speaks English, and B. shows up on time. You'll thank yourself later.

Last Christmas, all of the sudden, the heating system didn't work properly - no warm/hot air at all. I searched companies and made a call to Dr.Cool. Now I forgot the guy's name, but he came next day and fixed the problem. He not only fixed the problem, but also gave useful information, so I was satisfied with his service and I'm willing to hire him again if I have another problem.

Provider showed up late as they went to the wrong address first. Not a big deal as they called ahead of time. When I scheduled the appointment I put in a note that the furnace was located in the attic but the provider didn't come with a ladder. They had to use mine. The provider was very nice and cleaned up after himself. I would use again if needed.

Courteous, professional, super great service.

They were very professional and explained the pros and cons of all the options and financing. The installation was great and professional. They were on-time. They were going to have to come back to install the water heater another day but they ended up staying late so I only had to take one day off work. Very appreciated.

Wayne the owner came out and looked at our slightly unusual situation, our hot water tank was in the crawlspace of our house, and there is a small opening to fit through. He checked it out and said he could definitely make it work, but would need to source the correct size water heater. Within a day, he had the hot water heater sourced and I set an appointment. Crew showed up on time (actually a little bit early!) and took care of it no problem.

Her was punctual and very professional and did the job well.

Dr. Cool was prompt scheduling my appt. and were on time. The gentlemen were proffessional and courteous. I asked several questions and they were able to address my concerns. Job well done!

I bought an older house in summer of 2014. The previous owners had disclosed that the furnace stopped working intermittently. Sure enough when late fall came around the furnace would stop working intermittently. I called Dr. Cool because they were local to my new house and asked them to please come inspect the furnace. Dr Cool told me that I was having these intermittent problems with my furnace because of the age of the furnace (very old) and that the parts that needed to be replaced to fix the furnace were very expensive. They were extremely helpful at pointing out all of my options at that time including giving me prices for repairs. I decided to go with a new furnace and had quotes from the company that installed the furnace at my previous house as well as Dr. Cool. Dr. Cool bet the other company hands down in price by a long shot. They came out and replaced the old furnace with a new high-efficiency gas furnace and I started saving money on heating instantly. Couldn't be happier with Dr Cool!

Todd was great! I received a courtesy call within 15 minutes of him arriving at my home so I could just leave work when I needed to instead of waiting at home for the designated block of time. He was prompt, professional and patient answering my questions. I will definitely refer them to friends and use them in the future.

Arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently.

It dropped down to 15 degrees last night. I woke up this morning and my house was 55 degrees. My electric furnace was running but was putting out cold air. I went on Angie's List and shopped offers for furnace maintenance. I found an offer from Dr. Cool for a furnace diagnostic for $49. I bought it, but Angie's List app for android did not send me my receipt (and does not let you see your purchases) so I just called the company to make an appt. They said that they couldn't come out until the evening which was fine for me since I had no other options. They called me around 1200 and said that they had a cancellation and they could see me earlier. So they came out and found some bad limiters and replaced them on the spot. Heat fixed! $230 total with $49 coupon included. They also told me that my furnace was the original furnace and needed to be replaced (my house was built in 1976). They also advised me about how to get a low interest energy loan to make my house more efficient by replacing my furnace, water heater and running a gas line. I have nothing but good things to say. Very impressed.

He check the circuit system of my furnace to ensure everything was working properly. He vacuum the interior of the furnace to ensure it was clean and all dust was taken out. He installed a new filter. He made notes and recorded all his maintenance finding. He double check my thermostat and discovered it was not working properly. He made a recommendation regarding the Thermostat replacement which I agreed and purchase.

We did a lot of research, and this company answered all our questions in a professional prompt way. We look at three other companies with comparable products, and this company came out on top. The difference in the top two companies wasn't gigantic, but enough to have us spend $15,000.

Everything went smooth from start to finish. I think it was about 2 weeks total, if that. Techs were great as was salesman.
