If there was a zero I would give it! Contacted Dickâ s heating a month ago and explained we were selling our home and our heat pump did not work and needed to be in perfect condition by 5/31. We got an appointment 2 weeks out for the only technician they had that worked on our specific brand of pump. The technician came out, started working on it, showed me that it â workedâ by turning on the AC and air came out. We paid $1,200.00 for the repairs. The following Friday the new owners tried to use the heat function of the heat pump and it didnâ t work. I immediately called Dicks to see if they could walk us through turning on the heat pump, assuming it was operator error, but the only person that knows how to do that didnâ t work until the next Thursday, 6 days away! We had to make an appointment for Sat 6/1. Our closing was moved to 6/3 and thought the technician would be able to actually fix the pump like we requested a month priorâ ¦. NOPE! Now our closing is in 2 days and we have to scramble to get a new pump put in on a Sunday with 1 days notice! The technician said if we paid for the $1700 servings this would have been caught, but we were never offered any repair options, they said it was fixed and asked for $1,200.00! If you are looking for someone to answer the phone and take your money, call on Dicks Heating!!! If you are looking for a trained professional, call anyone else!!!!!!!

Dicks' service has always been top notch, their staff is friendly and straightforward. They've done excellent work for both my furnace and heat pump, and they've never tried to oversell me. Their prices are fair and you get a good value.

I hired Dicks because Hanes mech installed my furnace incorrectly and charged me over $500 just to tell me that they would fix it for over $3500. I then called Dicks and they came out right away and diagnosed the problem, showed me where it was installed wrong and fixed it for $1000.

Did the heat pump installation in shorter time than proposed. The technicians were courteous and thorough in explaining the new system. They took care to keep the inside area clean and made sure close all gates before the before they left. Very satisfied.

Showed up when they said they would. Quick and quality work. Cleaned up all debris.

His main goal appeared to be selling me a new furnace. When he presented a bid it was the highest of all three that I got. It was also or a Coleman model, one rated by consumer reports as a series not to buy because of resulting unreliability problems w:o going into specifics. When I told him that and showed the rating he just said â Well we havenâ t had any problem but did not show me any evidence or support this statement. He was a pleasant and appeared to be thoughtful but didnâ t help me with the info or further questions. His cost was reasonable so I would not be opposed to him doing minor work or service but would not hire him for a replscement.

Dicks Heating did a fantastic job moving our water heater. Old plastic lines are now flexible copper. New drain pan and overflow pipe. Exhaust duct routed to the existing flue. Very solid anchor strips to wall studs. Bob was very knowledgeable and great to work with. Thanks!

Dick?s heating & air conditioning sent out a technician to my house for a tankless water heater service. The technician admitted that he doesn?t know much about the tankless water heater so he can not service it. I was stunned by his honest admission but was upset at his company for sending him out and wasted my time.

Detailed proposal, easy scheduling, quick installation. All interactions with employees were courteous and professional.

Duct cleaning and instlation was great.
