+ -1 moreWORKING WITH CARLA HAD TO BE ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS WE HAVE EVER MADE. MY HUSBAND SOMETIMES BALKS AT MY DECORATING SCHEMES BUT AFTER HE SAW THE NEW ROOM HE CHANGED. BETWEEN THE CHILDREN'S REACTION AND THE WARMTH OF THE NEW ROOM HE HAS COME TO REALIZE THE TRUE VALUE THAT CAN COME FROM WORKING WITH AN ARTIST LIKE CARLA.
Description of Work: BEFORE OUR SECOND CHILD WAS BORN, WE DECIDED TO HAVE A DECORATOR HELP US CREATE A NURSERY. WE WANTED SOMETHING THAT WOULD NOT ONLY WORK FOR THE BABIES BUT ALSO WORK WHEN THE BOYS GOT OLDER. WE HAD HEARD ABOUT CARLA'S WORK FROM A FAMILY FRIEND AND GAVE HER A CALL. AFTER THE INITIAL BRAINSTORMING SHE GOT RIGHT TO WORK TRANSFORMING THE ROOM INTO A FANCIFUL PLAYLAND, WITH BOLD CREATIVITY THAT CAN ONLY COME FROM A TRUE ARTIST, SHE USED A RANGE OF COLORS AND TEXTURES TO CREATE A WARMTH IN THE ROOM THAT KNOCKED MY BREATH AWAY AND BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES. IF WE EVER SELL OUR HOME I WILL BE TAKING THE MURAL.....NO SCRATCH THAT....THE ENTIRE ROOM WITH US.
