AA Asphalting Inc

No respect for the neighborhood and are currently blocking both entrances to our alley way so me and my neighbors can't get in/out all day. Every other construction company figures out how to only block one entrance. One of their trucks is just parked and blocking with no need to be there. And they don't care if you come up to them and ask to move. What the ****?!?

First let me say that I think John Alcorn (the owner) is a wonderful man, I manage a local Amusement Park and he has brought his crew and their families to our center multiple times - he cares for them and wants to give them thanks by providing them a day of family, food, and fun - all at no cost to them - and when I talk to him about his business and employees he completely lights up - GREAT kind of boss/owner in this day and age! So naturally when we needed some work done we called AA Asphalt to give them the business as a thanks for their continued patronage. The bid was fair and reasonable and the work was first rate - we will use them again in a heart beat! Thanks John and AA Asphalt! We deal with a lot of contractors and service providers and we appreciate your integrity and amazing character!

A Puget Sound Enegy subcontractor dug a hole in my driveway and two holes in my sidewalk while repairing the gas leak and replacing my service line. AA Asphaulting was hired to repair my concrete after the gas line work was complete. Initially they came out and replaced a concrete panel in my driveway and patched the two holes in my sidewalk. After the work was complete, the panel in the driveway looked great. I was dissatisfied with the work performed on the sidewalk because they just patched the jagged holes left by the gas crew and didn't remove all of the concrete damaged by the gas crew. I contacted AA Asphaulting with my concerns and the owner (Steve?) came out to look at the situation. He agreed that more work should have been done, but his crew was just performing the workscope dictated by PSE's subcontractor. He stated that he wasn't satisfied with the quality of the finished product and said he would send his crew back to make things right. They came back and cut out all of the damaged areas, removed the old concrete, and installed new concrete. I was very satisfied with the job they did and I commend them for their business ethics for redoing work that was not up to customer standards.

Wow. They showed up with a huge crew (6 workers, 6 vehicles) at 8 a.m. and were done by 1 p.m. It was an amazing thing to watch. Excellent work, a completely smooth transition between the old and new areas... only we know where one ends and one begins. We were a little nervous about choosing asphalt over concrete, but we know that we made the right decision... any other way would have resulted in a patchwork of new concrete, old asphalt, and one older concrete section. I can't think of HOW we could use their services again, but would if we could!

JOHN STROUD CAME OUT AND BID WORK. THEY WERE VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH US AND MEET ALL OUR NEEDS. ALL THE WORKERS WERE PROMPT AND ALL SERVICES WERE DONE WELL AND TO OUR SATISFACTION.
