Grady's Custom Painting

Mr. Grady is a sole practitioner, provided his own bid and estimate. His work was clean and professional, his price for a 5 day project was very reasonable, 30% less than a large local contractor. Our timing with him was perfect in that the outdoor painting season should be starting but rain allowed him to get to us immediately. He managed transitions to adjacent rooms with different colors around rounded sheet rock corners, he made several permanent repairs to sheetrock cracks which we had been resigned to just overlooking. His prep work was conscientious and complete, his edge lines were precise, just a fine job on areas that were just too high for our brittle bones to risk.

HIs quality is impeccable and attention to detail spot on. He's near the top of the price range, but well worth it if quality and detail matter. He'll take the time to explain his process and match the products he uses to your needs. We have a 5 year old boy and asked for paint that was a little but durable and he told us exactly what we needed and his recommendation was perfect. He's dependable and trustworthy. Jim should be your only call.

Jim was extremely prompt, clean and professional. He and his partner worked very well together and always cleaned up after themselves. The house was left in great shape and the painting looks excellent!! We are very, very pleased. We have more to do in the future and will definitely use Grady's Custom Painting.

He did a really good job, I had a time restraint and needed the job ASAP for company I had coming and he came and did a phenonmon job in one day. Had two different kinds of paint I needed, did a double coat and did a great job.

It was a difficult year for outdoor painting and I had some maintenance issues that delayed the project. It rained a lot. I needed some carpenter work that held up his painting and required him to make several trips to my home. He was very good natured about the weather and the piecemeal progress of the job. He did an excellent job, as I knew he would because I have used him before. The house has some difficult access issues. He listened to me and responded to my suggestions and requests.

He is dependable and does a great job. We’ve had him for several jobs in our church. He also did our recreation hall. It was a popcorn ceiling that he painted. He had a problem with it, but he still did the job. He has even worked on Saturdays when he has done work for us.
