"A delivery truck backed up too far into a loading dock on our business property damaging the wall and causing the overhead door to be inoperable. We had difficulty finding a competent contractor to take on this repair. Within a few days of contacting Tom, he visited the property and had an estimate prepared. We had some concerns about the large amount of deposit that he required. He did explain that obtaining a large deposit has become commonplace among contractors in the area so they will be paid. So we went ahead and sent him a check for the deposit. Once he had received the payment, he started the work within a couple of days and was completely finished in less than two weeks. He kept us informed along the way of his progress. The cost of the repairs seemed reasonable under the circumstances. I would not hesitate to use Tom again."

I specialize with anything having to do with walls! From A to Z. That's why Wallz ends in a 'Z' in my logo! I can build a wall, drywall it, texture it, make it smooth, repair it, fix it, remove wallpaper, paint it, put a door in it, or whatever you need! I was using Thumbtack for 6 years with a 4.8 star rating and 91 reviews. They have gotten extremely greedy on how they charge us contractors with no help in sight so i have decided to try here. Here is a link to my reviews to take a look since i have no reviews here as of yet: https://www.thumbtack.com/or/portland/interior-painting/all-about-wallz/service/246638678055511287 Thanks for looking!

We are specialized in two things: 1) Installing batts insulation in floors, walls, or attics. 2) Cleaning and installing vapor barriers in crawl spaces. Insulation companies are always booked weeks out so to tackle this problem, Columbia Insulation prioritizes scalability. Almost all money is reinvested in the business which means better service, lower wait times, and industry expertise.

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.
The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:
Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot
Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot
Batt: $2–$4 per square foot
Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot
Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
