+ 0 moreIt went great!! We had estimates from 3 other people and they were all a LOT higher. We got good advice on styles as well as planning for getting the door in. They painted at the shop and came ready to get the door in. The door went in nicely despite the fact that we have a historic home and nothing is square anymore. They came back to double check on the work and fixed 2 things I had not even noticed. They did not make any mess and worked around the craziness that is my house. They left zero mess and cleaned everything up. On time and very professional. This is the second time we hired this company. The last time they did work under one of our rental homes.

+ 0 moreGreat! Kris and Gabe were very professional and paid close attention to detail even staining to color the light fixture with the heating vent cover! They were very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns. An unexpected additional job task had to be added when it was discovered the overhead beam was not up to code. They explained the issue, reinforced the ceiling and replaced the beam. It was all done in a timely manner and the end results turned out beautifully! We were so happy with the end results and a year later, we are still very happy. We will definitely turn to them again if and when we need remodeling work done.

Projects have ranged from maintenance and repair (the house is nearly 40 years old) to major renovations. I have had the kitchen and bathrooms updated and a fence replaced. In March, they accomplished a major update on a shed that had been experiencing progressive rot issues. Kris did offer a fix for the rotted area but the shed would still have been inconvenient to use and there was potential for additional rot damage. I explained that I didn’t want to have to mess with the shed again so we looked for a more permanent solution. The result is a shed I can actually use with a wide, sturdy door that opens completely. Gabe and I discussed the job and determined how I wanted to use the shed (mostly for ladder storage) and he completed the updates with that goal in mind. Kris and Gabe have always included me in any project. They have sought (and taken into consideration) my input before starting projects and kept me informed throughout the jobs. That is so appreciated. Often, the opinions and inputs of a female consumer are discounted. Kris is knowledgeable about materials and the time needed to complete a project so his estimates are usually very accurate. When a project significantly exceeded the estimate, he let me know before they proceeded with the job. Their work is warranted and they have always been quick to respond on the rare occasions when I have needed something fixed. They always allow me to complete any part of a project if I want to. I painted the shed, I have caulked and painted siding, and have pre-painted siding and posts before installation. Gabe is a craftsman and a perfectionist. OK isn’t good enough for him. He takes great pride in his work and he should. I hope to be able to continue to enjoy this working relationship for a long time to come.

+ -1 moreMy gutters were installed in April 2018. The installer was a subcontractor through Kris Anderson's company. After a very heavy rain, I discovered one of the gutters was coming loose. I contacted Kris for advice that morning. Gabe came out that afternoon. The first two gutter hangers had not been screwed into a firm surface. In short order, Gabe had troubleshot the situation and reattached the gutter hangers into the joists. The work was performed under warranty.

+ 1 moreWater damage is never something you want to experience in your kitchen. Kris was able to work with us, going above and beyond with our insurance company. He was very patient giving us feedback on making a modern kitchen in our home. He encouraged us to get a lighter countertop and a more natural wood laminate which we ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! Kris and Gabe are very professional. With any concerns or questions we had, their response time was very quick. Even when adding three more rooms to the project. They were able to work with us. + 1 moreOn both jobs Havenkraft was on time, polite, and very professional. The estimate was right on and there were no surprise extra charges. The work was done in a timely manner. They did a total clean up and removed all debris. I would definitely call on them again should the need arise.

+ -1 moreWe were total amateurs when it came to remodeling our house. Kris Anderson was so patient with our questions and really listened to our ideas for our new kitchen. He has a great sense of design, colors and a huge attention to detail. He wants to make sure everything is perfect. Our kitchen was finished in May 2019 and I still can't help but stand in the entrance and stare at it sometimes it is that beautiful. Gabe also was double/triple checking measurements in the kitchen because we had some tight spots for our new appliances. Their work is superior and I have a few more projects in the pipeline that I hope they can bring to life.

Using stock cabinets, they created a custom look. Detail oriented and eager to please their clients, they were very responsive to our vision and requests which included a farmhouse sink and decorative ceiling fan. They also reworked the closet area and found the perfect closet doors. Respectful of our home and time. We will absolutely ask them to complete other projects and highly recommend them.

My house went from the dark brown 1964 era to the white and light of modern day. I have received many compliments from family and friends. His team touched almost every inch of my house, taking out the wall between the kitchen and dining room, updating and adding kitchen cabinets, replacing old dark flat doors with white 6 paneled ones, updating baseboards and trim, gutting and remodeling two bathrooms, adding new flooring on entire bottom level, and adding lighting and windows where requested. Also and very important to me, your workers were professional, trustworthy, and concerned that I liked the job they were doing. An extra bonus was they were able to take a sketch I had done of a banister and railing I wanted and build it.

The quality of the work has always been excellent. In the few instances where there were some issues, they always addressed they always made things right - many times without us even having to point it out. At times we have had a hard time getting ahold of them to start projects and get estimates, but they have always been worth the wait.

+ 2 moreKris Anderson has been my go-to guy for home repair and construction since 2010. Kris and his team have repaired and rebuilt fences, made emergency roof repairs, rebuilt and remodeled my kitchen, constructed a beautiful add-on roof for my front porch, and renovated a backyard gazebo. Work is currently scheduled for an updated bathroom. The workmanship has always been excellent and the cost fair and reasonable. Perhaps the best part, Kris doesn’t keep you hanging. He keeps in touch, lets you know how things stand, and both he and his workers have a perfect record for showing up at the appointed time. I would recommend Kris and Havenkraft to anyone who is considering having work done on their home.

They provided us with some excellent recommendations and gave us some wonderful suggestions for the renovation. The renovation was headed up by Gabriel and we could not have asked for a more dedicated individual and professional. The quality of the work performed by Gabriel and the Crew was exceptional. We are so pleased by the finished product that we continue to show off our shower to our neighbors and visiting family and friends. They all agree—this was a superb finished project!! + -1 moreWe have used Anderson Construction for several small to medium jobs over the last few years with great success. They are our go-to call whenever we need something repaired or upgraded at our house, because time after time they deliver excellent quality service the first time. We have not had to call them back to fix something they did, but we are confident that if that occasion ever arises, they would be there quickly to make it right. Recently, due to circumstances beyond our control, our house had a major problem, and even though the insurance told us to call someone else for clean-up and repair, we called Anderson! They did the cleanup, repairs and are putting things back the way they should be. They are giving us advise on where to go and which products are the best for our situation. Kris (the owner) is an excellent communicator and keeping us and his crew on track so the project is done in a timely manner. We will continue to call them first, they are the only ones we trust.
