Bruiser's Tree & Chipping Service

the service is great and the quotation is unbiddable (i have been searching for 5-7 similar companies). strongly recommended this company.

They chipped the brush pile and left the chips as requested.

I was not home when the work was done, but it was done as we agreed on in the estimate.

Mike Higgins the owner showed up on time on a Saturday the week before and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. On Sunday the eleventh Mike and his crew showed right on time and went to work. They dropped one seventy foot cedar and two cotton wood tree's that were well over a hundred feet tall. They cleaned up as they went feeding all the branches and leaves into their large mulch-er and loading the Cedar tree into my trailer. The Cotton woods were cut in sections and taken too the curb where Mike had arranged for people to pick up for free. By the end of the day the yard was cleaned up and the fire wood that had not been picked up was stacked close to the street. It was all picked up by Wednesday when Mike stopped by to check on it. In all it was a great experience. The crew was hardworking and professional a pleasure to watch and work with.

Communication: Bruiser's has an email form that you fill out online to get in touch and get an estimate. Usually these forms mean that you probably won't hear from someone within the nxt 24 hrs. Not Bruiser's. They responded same day--completely business like, fast, courteous. Then, miracle of miracles, the owner was available for an estimate the following day. I don't know if these guys are always able to be this fast, but I was impressed! This was within a 48 hr period following a windstorm and I was told by two other companies that they couldn't even come out for an estimate until a wk later. Price: Compared to other information I found online, Bruiser's service was really reasonable. Prices for tree removal in King County are insane. I was hearing prices from 1-2k which is nuts, even considering liability issues. Project: Half of a large ash on our property came down over the neighbor's fence. We needed the rest of it cut and chipped and the neighbor's portion cut and chipped. We had a twinned birch leaning dangerously toward the neighbor's house. This was right btwn our house and the neighbor's, so tight workspace. We wanted this removed and chipped. And we wanted to make sure that a lilac tree that was entwined with it would not be hurt. Work: These guys are pros. Fast, competent, pleasant. It was a three man crew and they worked non-stop for 3 hrs. No standing around mulling things over. And it was fun to see them up in the birch tree--that's talented and dangerous work. Trees were cut, wood was chipped and piled where I wanted it, and they were gone. Much appreciated, gentlemen!
