+ -1 moreI called to get a pane of glass replaced in a garden window. The tech, Stoney, was on time and friendly. Unfortunately, he did not do the replacement as the company has only a few places they will work with so he could not get the replacement parts he needed. As he said, he could have done something half-way and it would have gotten me by, but he was more concerned with doing it right. I appreciate this, along with being treated (even though I am female) like I have a brain in my head. I highly recommend!

+ 0 moreI received a call the day before install to confirm time and date of work to be performed. this was great because I had scheduled the day off work and this had been planed for at least a month. Then the day of install I receive a call and they want to reschedule because they are unable to show up and do the work. I told true-view that this was unacceptable and they said the y do not care and about my schedule with my work and they could schedule a time when I'm not home so I don't need to miss any more work. Like I'm going to let people in my home that can't show up to work. I had payed half up front and the remainder was to be payed upon completion. The job did not get done in one day as bid and agreed to. My doors were delivered with the primary door on the wrong side. the technicians although doing quality work did not know how to fix the primary side problem. True view then threatened a lean against my house for final payment when the job was not completed. Stony (the owner of this business) did not take responsibility for anything during this transaction and only offered excuse after excuse.

custom cabinets
+ -1 moreJob never completed, they one day stopped coming over, won't even return a simple phone call, completely unprofessional!
Description of Work: My mother hired them to build her a custom dining cabinet and also hired them to complete her new custom island, pantry & sewing cabinets. It has been over 2 months & they have not returned her phone calls. They never completed the job, they built her a nice looking cabinet yet never came back to install the glass buffet doors she special ordered. Basically they took her money and ran, not sure how they can claim to be the #1 Glass and window installer, by whome? Although they're prices are reasonable it isn't worth it if they never return to complete the job. My mom Ruth is a very sweet person and it breaks my heart that they just discarded her after she paid them. Shame on them for not returning any of her calls, they're lucky she hasn't taken them to small claims court, if I were here I would. They're cabinet guy is awful, never came back to wrap skin around her island, repeatedly took sloppy measurements & had to recut several custom doors. Working with this company has been an absolute nightmare, they can't even install a proper custom breadboard properly. Fit so tightly my mom couldn't even open it, had to pay someone else to come over & sand it down so she could actually open it. Maybe she is lucky they never come back, now she can hire someone else who will fix everything properly. They even screwed up her pantry, finished it backwards. Then when they returned to fix it they didn't bother fill in the huge knot in the wood. She had to fill it in herself! This companies employees seriously suck.
