Stenberg Construction

I used him twice. He built the house that I live in now about ten years ago. Prior to that he had remodeled the kitchen for me in a different place. I can't say enough good about him. He is the most terrific person. It is like having a saint in your house. His father did wood floors and he grew up learning how to do this. My house has all wood floors, but he did the entire house with some subcontractors. I had bought my property a few years earlier and I was living in my barn, which has an apartment that he fixed up. I came home every afternoon and saw what he had done and chatted with him. He made changes, as I needed them. It was an architect-designed house and the bedrooms were a little small. He made them a little bigger. I wanted a window put in the bathroom because of the wonderful view and he made the tub raised up so if you were sitting in the tub, you looked out the window. He knew we wanted a basement but it was too expensive, so he suggested an attic, which was not in the architect plans. He designed it and took it to an engineer to be passed and approved. Then he built a very nice attic. Now my house has a steeply pitched roof, which is quite attractive. He made the steps to the attic and the inspector said that the steps were too high. The next day he redid the steps to meet the inspection. He cut off just a little bit and they just tip down very slightly and you wouldn't even notice it. The steps were not very far off in the first place. They then passed the inspection. He is a marvelous person. He is wonderful to work with and he solves problems and does beautiful work. He was very careful with the price and even told us some things that we could not afford. He was willing to adjust if I wanted things changed and adjusted the price according to what I wanted done. I would absolutely use him again but he is far away from me. He is utterly amazing.

PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND WE WERE OFFERED TO DO THE SEALING OFF OURSELVES TO SAVE MONEY. CAME WHEN PROMISED, AND DONE ON TIME WHICH WAS IMPORTANT SINCE HOME HAD TO BE VACATED DURING PROCESS.

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS BUILDER. ALWAYS ON TIME EACH DAY. FINISHED JOB A FEW WEEKS EARLY. SUBCONTRACTORS WERE RELIABLE. CLEAN UP WAS INCREDIBLE AFTER EACH WORK DAY. PRICE WAS VERY FAIR FOR WORK DONE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND HAVE.
