Austin was really expensive the first time he moved dirt for me. He came out and made all kinds of promises of leveling the whole yard and moving dirt for us. None of that happened except the moving dirt part. He did do a decent job at that but for most of the time he just got paid to sit in his machine and wait. Which isnt his fault but I dont think it was fair to be charged as much as he quoted. The second time he came out he was very rude because he thought the dirt wasn't here but it was he just didn't look hard enough. He complained it was way more dirt than before and he didn't have time to do it. He ended up moving it but none of my yard was leveled as previously promised and I still have water piling up that he said he would fix. I would not hire him again or recommend him. He charges way too much! Jeremy
Austin has done work for me many times over the last 8 years & always does an outstanding job. He has done everything from brush clearing, excavating and dirt work to grading my horse turnouts and doing business with him is always a pure pleasure. He is courteous, professional, honest & punctual as well as exceptionally helpful---in short, I simply can't say enough great things about him and his work. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!!
Description of Work: Reworked my turnouts for the winter months and added gravel as needed.

Austin was great! Returned our call promptly and due to frozen ground thought it might be a week out but soon as weather warmed up he called to get our job completed right a way, he even came out on a Saturday. Great communication, awesome work ethic, and really nice guy to work with. We need more work done in Sring/Summer and will definitely call Austin back out:)
Description of Work: Austin graded our tight driveway and delivered gravel to regravel driveway.
All the work exceed my expectations and I have him back again for any work requiring moving dirt, grading, trenching, etc. He was super friendly and professional.
Description of Work: Austin B. (owner) regraded our read yard in preparation for a new hydroseeded lawn. The job required extensive leveling/grading, tilling in the old uneven, weed-filled lawn (prepped in advance with non-selective herbicide), and spreading about 100 cubic yards of topsoil over the new grade. All of the work was done with a Bobcat-type skid steer vehicle with a front bucket and/or Harley rake (used for leveling and tilling). He coordinated the timed deliveries of topsoil (7 full dump trucks) as well as the hydroseeding (another local company). Austin was there early and worked late into the day to get the job done in a single day). Although the topsoil was expensive, the amount of heavy equipment work and labor was a deal. I got a few other bids that were way higher and included weird amounts for equipment delivery, operator time, etc. Austin did all the work himself and owns the equipment. I couldn't be more pleased with the job.

Every time he had work to do, he arrived on time. He did everything right the first time, and was able to complete every step of the excavation process quickly and efficiently, with time to spare. He is extremely honest, fair, professional, and knows a lot about the codes and regulation for this area, which was very helpful, as we are new to Camano. He is definitely the person for your job!
Description of Work: Excavated (contoured and backfilled) job site for 24'x36' shop. Excellent work and skills. Did all backfilling, compacting and relocation of main power for surrounding property and shop site. He did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Austin for any type of job, large or small. This guy is a real go-getter in every respect, is knowledgeable about all aspects of excavation, and has all of his own equipment. He provides absolute quality work, start to finish.

Austin was responsive to my initial request for a bid by calling me back and then stopping by on his way back from Eastern Washington to give us his bid. Austin was able to get to our job within 1.5 weeks after our initial contact, which worked great for our (ASAP) schedule. Austin was courteous, professional and easy to work with. He told us what was feasible and what approach would be most cost effective. Austin is highly skilled with all of his equipment, and a pleasure to watch in action. I'm glad we found Austin on Angie's List, and would recommend him highly.
Description of Work: Widened driveway by clearing brush, and grading. Then graveled widened area, re-graveled existing/adjoining area (5 yards) and then brought in 7 more yards of gravel to build up a level parking area (12'x20') for our travel trailer.

Austin came out and cleared all that was possible including some side yard area that has never been cleaned out. It took much less time than he had estimated and he reflected that time in his actual bill. I appreciate his integrity and good work.
Description of Work: We have 5 acres that had previously been cleared and grassed. We quit mowing the back two acres a few years back and it became overgrown with weeds. We also have a drain field that had never been cleaned out after our home was built and became heavily overgrown. Austin gave us a quote that sounded fair and we offered him the work.

Austin Bougie is the owner. The company is awesome. He does a great work and he is a reliable source for information about the other stuff pertaining to the yard as far as grading and drainage and things like that.
Description of Work: Austin's Lend a Hand tore our whole property, which is an acre and a half and he puffed it up for us.
