Valley Chimney Repair and Cleaning

On July 30, 2024, I made an appointment to get my chimney cleaned on August 20th. The day before the appointment, I received an email from Shawn Hagen informing me "that due to all the hot temperatures we had in July and beginning in August we fell about 2 weeks behind schedule." As a result, my appointment was rescheduled for September 10th. On September 10th, no one from Valley Chimney Repair and Cleaning showed up and I did not receive any type of notification from them regarding their no show. My follow up telephone calls and emails to them received absolutely no response. This is a very unprofessional way to conduct business and I cannot recommend them.

Shawn went above and beyond to not only tear down our old chimney to rebuild, but he also removed a problematic yellow jacket nest we didn't even know we had. He also repainted a new flue he ended up having to replace to match the other old one. We are very satisfied with his work and his work ethic. He let us know every step of the way what was going on and when he would be coming to work. We highly recommend this company. His brickwork was also beautiful when completed.

Very knowledgeable. They did an excellent job on the cleaning and inspection. They found some issues during the inspection and gave me a quote for the repairs. They came back a few days later and did all the repairs. Now I feel a lot safer knowing my fireplace is safe to use all winter. I was even able to schedule my cleaning and inspection for next year.

They were very professional. They talked me through the whole process before hand. They had a very detailed inspection report and explained everything on it. They used a camera thing to see down my chimney in greater detail. They recommended repairs they found during the inspection. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking chimney work. They even offered me a senior or military discount on top of the special they were already running.
