+ -1 moreI signed up and paid for six monthly weed & feed applications from first of May thru first of October. First application went fine. After six weeks I called to see where my service was. Got promise of service for following week. Repeated four times before I finally got 2nd service TEN weeks after 1st service. 2nd service was terrible! Tech did a spot check for weeds and a hand fertilizer spreader. He explained they were so far behind that he was pulled from commercial to do residential to help catch up. Called to complain AGAIN! During talk with customer service they tried to up-sell me for a service I didn't need. The only thing they are interested in sales and money. The customer doesn't matter! Please do not use this business in Spokane WA. They really suck! My lawn looks the worst it has in over 20 years! I finally decided to cut my losses, went and bought fertilizer and applied it myself along with weed spray.

Description of Work: had yard work done, spraying lawn, flower beds ect. I paid for services, then I get a letter showing that my account was sent to a collection agency. when I went on trugreens web site it showed that I had a zero balance they told me I still owed $65.00 even though their web billing site showed a zero balance.

We got them at them beginning of the year but like June May we didn’t see any difference in regards to weeds and stuff. They’d leave their little thing in the lawn saying they’d been out and I didn’t see any difference. I am not satisfied.

Description of Work: I hired Tru Green for lawn, fertilizer, weed and insect sprays based on their promise for personalized customer service. I expressed my need to know when they would be coming out so I could ensure no pets were outside or other lawn care professionals were working on my property at that same time. The Sales Manager committed (during 2 separate calls) to have the Technician call me with an ETA before each visit- which never happened. My account was also supposed to be coded for no service on Friday (my mow day) - but service got scheduled anyway. | |All scheduling was done via a voice recorded message. On 2 separate occasions I phoned back immediately upon receipt of the message and requested the services be re-scheduled, yet the Techs came out anyway. | |I was also disappointed with the quality of their products. Part of my yard never greened up after multiple fertilizer applications. I've also had a significant weed problem - which I've never had to this extent before. Tru Green's Tech admitted to me that they cut back on the amount of product they are using this year and suggested an increased number of visits. I refuse to throw more good money after bad with them and have canceled the service. |

Description of Work: Service was good, but I don't like their marketing techniques. I asked for a one time service, but they applied quarterly and wanted to charge me for it. I refused to pay since I didn't ask for the service.

+ 1 moreOur experience was excellent. Our yard has never looked so good. I did a package for yard care in early spring. They came out, fertilized, and sprayed for bugs like four or five times for $400 through out the summer, and they do their fall once. I plan on using them in the future.

I pay for it by credit card, so they automatically bill me and take care of that and the only person I ever talked to is the representative. It is a big yard and I think it is $60 a visit. They absolutely took care of the weed problem for me.
Description of Work: I have been using TruGreen for a year now and they come and apply chemical treatment to the grass that not only takes care of the weed problem I have here, but also fertilizers. They come out every two months.
