Sturm Heating & Air Conditioning

Nothing but good to say. AC stopped working - it was the capacitor which they replaced quickly. They noticed at the time that the condenser coil was terribly dirty and recommended cleaning that which I took them up on. Everything was done in under an hour and our AC is back to normal. Also, the workers were very pleasant throughout the experience. Highly recommend this company. We have used them before and our most recent experience just reinforces that we will stay with them.

Just had their plumber come out to fix our faucets. We called yesterday and he was out this morning. Knowledgeable, professional, and very clean. Gave us some great tips on some of our issues and was pretty funny on top of that! We have had Sturm service our furnace and air conditioner for years and have never been disappointed. The only problem I had was that the plumbing services on the web site are limited to water heaters. He is very knowledgeable about other issues. He replaced our toilet a few months ago and it is amazing. I have had other companies out and he is the best so far.

Jason was my technician! He was so diligent and paid attention to detail. He also patiently answered my questions and showed me some details I did not know about my furnace. I am always happy with the service from STURM. Thank you to all the technicians through the last over 20 years that have kept my furnace and air conditioner in top shape!

Absolutely one of the worse and most expensive service experiences ever. Initial troubleshooting was poorly managed. The final tech that came out to finish the work was good. No customer loyalty!

I had a mini split system put in my house. From the first meeting with Andy to the credit application process and the installation, I could not have been happier and more satisfied. The installers were in my house for 3 days and they were through, helpful and informative. I have 2 small children and 3 small dogs, and they went over and above dealing with them. I absolutely love their customer service and I will defiantly call Sturm again for any of my needs relating to the services they provide. As it always is with Sturm personnel, the technicians were professional and polite, despite it being blazing hot outside and not too cool inside!

The Sturm Heating technicians were knowledgeable, efficient, professional and helpful. They were quick to respond to our needs and stayed on the job after hours to ensure that our problem was solved. We appreciated working with them! We will be sure to use Sturm Heating again if we need our HVAC system repaired or maintained!

They did a good job, they were nice, they were resourceful, they were helpful; and they cleaned up after themselves.

Took several weeks from the time of initial contact until a technician was available for a routine fall furnace checkup. We had not had one for some time because the house was purchased new, but we had noticed some furnace issues that we thought needed attention. Sturm provided a time window, and readily agreed to call the office to alert me to go home to meet the technician. They gave me 20 minutes "heads up" and I finished up the work project and arrived at home a couple of minutes before the technician arrived. Our igniter was bad (which is what was causing us some problems) and that part alone cost about $185. The technician also gave the central air cleaner a once over (I've been self-cleaning it) and then replaced the pad for the whole house humidifier. He wore booties when inside the house. Had the needed parts on the truck. From start to finish took about 90 minutes. $99 service call plus parts and labor. I was pleased with the work, his timeliness and explanation of what needed to be done, and the price seemed fair.

They were extremely good. The service was perfect.

They were great and prompt. They had same day service so we called yesterday and they were out by 3 to install the unit. They were very economically priced. They were professional. They came about an hour late.

I won't hire these guys ever again, beware if you do.

They were creative, technically competent, and gave us a fair bid. They performed the work with care and responded to minor modification requests with no additional charges. They were very creative when faced with retrofit challenges, and were very patient in answering technical questions. They explained operation in great detail. No items of correction were found for either building (mechanical) or electrical inspections. We are very satisfied with the new system and with this company.

I'll never know if Sturm was intentionally protecting their client, the seller, from having to replace the furnace or it was sloppiness on the part of the serviceman who did the pre-purchase inspection. Either way, Sturm saw no problem with the discrepancy between the two reports. They did offer me a new furnace at theand quot; new construction rateand quot; as an accommodation, but had I gotten a report on the true condition of the furnace before I bought the property, I would have asked the seller to replace it,.

Great job. I responded to a special they were running. They sent over a young man named Malcolm who was very thorough and knowledgeable. I have been with another well known company for the past 37 years but over the last few years they were badly short-changing me on this specific service. And my old company's optional service contract was, for my system, considerably more money. So, for now at least, I'm going to stay with Sturm.

.Our central air conditioner went out on a Friday evening after hours. (It was going to be in the upper 90's all weekend.) I called their after hours emergency number and spoke with the answering service woman. I asked if I could get someone to come look at our central air conditioner that had stopped working. Her response was and quot;Tonight?and quot;. I responded and quot;If not tonight then Saturday.and quot; This was only 6pm on Friday evening. She said that she could have a technician call me. She said they may call tonight or Saturday or maybe not until Monday. This woman was so rude and short on the phone she acted like my calling was inconveniencing her. I then asked if she knew what the cost for an emergency call would be and she said and quot;I have no idea? I'm just the answering service.and quot; She then asked for my phone number, so I gave that to her. She asked me to repeat it which I did. She then asked for my addresses and I provided that to her which she then asked me to repeat because she didn't get it. I told her to just have a technician call and I would give them the information and ask my questions on cost etc. since she didn't have any information anyway. Well I waited all night Friday for a call, Saturday at 11am still no call so I called another company who was at my house within an hour! Sunday and Monday came and went with still no call from anyone from Sturm. Tuesday around 11am I called and spoke with the manager at Sturm about my call into their emergency number. He pulled the call log and the woman had put in that I had refused to give my phone number or address but wanted to be added to the schedule. Hmm! Why would I refuse to give information but want to be on their schedule with no way for them to know who to call or where to go? She didn't even include my last name which I spelled out for her because it isn't a common name. Unfortunately for Sturm, they not only lost my business for the emergency call but also the sale of a new central air conditioner because ours was shot. Needless to say the manager was NOT happy with her. We had used Sturm in the past to service our furnace and central air so it wasn't the first time we used them. We never had trouble prior to this emergency call.

It was fine. They did a good job installing it and I've never had a problem with it. The put in a Trane air conditioner and they were prompt. I didn't have any problems.

A young lady came as the representative for their company. She introduced herself , removed her boots and confirmed with me what she was there to do. She spread out a large canvas barrier cloth on our white carpet to ensure any residue from the fireplace would be contained. She was very friendly and we talked about how she became a member of this team and what her long-term goals were for her life. She was very thorough and timely in the completion of her specific assignment. She provided me with some tips on how to clean the front glass on the fireplace as we have three others throughout the house. She was extremely careful when gathering up her tools and containing all of the dirt and dust from her working on the fireplace. She went over to the button on the wall to test the fireplace and to show me a couple of fine-tuning items that could save us money in the long run. It was a pleasant experience, I felt totally comfortable with her knowledge and skills and the price they charged was very reasonable for the work and time it took. If I were to have any other type of fireplace or air conditioning issues, I would not hesitate to call this company and use them again!

Everythung went as planned with the install.

They are really good. They got out to me promptly. They are extremely knowledgeable, and have great customer service. They are qualified with numerous technicians. They are always available, and do anything they can for you. They won't leave you in the cold for 5 days like my previous heating company.
