+ -1 moreMr. Soto arrived on time with his crew (unusual for a contractor) and went right to work. I found Mr. Soto's work to be precise and excellent in quality. Without question, I would say Mr. Soto has been one of our best home improvement experiences to date. I would hire him again without question.
Description of Work: We had a 20 year old deck that needed to be rebuilt. Tthe old decking needed to be removed, new stringers installed (the old stringers had rotted) and then new deck boards installed. In addition, two sets of stairs needed to be built to provide deck access. Mr. Soto arrived on time to bid the work & had a detailed bid back to us within 24 hours. At the time of the bid, we discussed ways to keep the costs down, such as purchasing the lumber ourselves, doing some of the demolition, disposing of the old decking, and staining the new lumber. Mr. Soto took the time discuss our DIY options and considered this in his bid. Therefore the $950 cost referenced above was for his labor only to replace the stringers, put down the new decking and build the 2 sets of stairs. We agreed to have the work done and a date and time was scheduled.
